Chapter 1443: History of the Ancient Battleground

The Ancient Battleground of the Fallen Gods is bigger than the combined size of the Six Immortal Realms and the Great Beyond Realm is the nearest to it.

It is so big that the entire plateau of the Ancient Battleground of the Fallen Gods is said to be a million and another million light years in size, with numerous spatial warps in the place.

Somewhere at the end of the Ancient Battleground of the Fallen Gods is the Great Unfathomable Chasm that is almost bottomless and below, is the Great Void.

This Great Void, is also the place where the ancestors of the void creatures are said to originate and the Great Unfathomable Chasm is a terrifying place with many true divinity void creatures.

Basically, it is considered a suicide for the Immortals of the Six Immortal Realms to be attempting a trip to the Great Unfathomable Chasm. That place itself is a world by itself with numerous domains that each have a powerful true divinity Void Sovereign ruling over it. And each domain is millions of miles vast.

The Ancient Battleground of the Fallen Gods is also the ultimate trial for the immortals of the Six Realms, with numerous chances to obtain the profound treasures and bones of the fallen great immortals and void creatures that had perished previously.

It is also a place with many strange cultivation laws that defied the imagination and cultivation secrets that are only revealed in the place.

The objective of the Immortals of the Six Realms is not to reach the Great Unfathomable Chasm but to kill 100 Void Sovereigns and use their life energies to enforce the immortal seal of the Star Goddess Palace.

Unless this objective is met, the Immortals of the Six Realms will all be trapped inside the Ancient Battleground of the Fallen Gods.

The immortal seal of the Star Goddess Palace is important because the exact seal is on the Great Void itself and it prevents the Supreme Void Sovereigns from emerging from it. As long as there are no Supreme Void Sovereigns, there is no way for the void creatures to escape from the Ancient Battleground of the Fallen Gods.

Also, the Void Sovereigns in the Ancient Battleground of the Fallen Gods are unable to evolve into the Supreme Void Sovereigns as the Great Void is being sealed off. With no manifestations from the Great Void, it is impossible to evolve into a greater void creature. This is the same as the celestial cultivators ascending as immortal cultivators with the aid of the lightning tribulations.

The only immortal that is not allowed inside the Ancient Battleground of the Fallen Gods is the Great Beyond Goddess herself as she is needed to maintain the profound immortal sea of the Goddess Star Palace.

A Void Sovereign is not that easy to be killed because they are equaled to a half-step Divinity to a full=step Divinity and they are divided into Prime, Liege, Monarch. The cultivation strength of a Prime is between a half-step true divinity and a middle 10th realm true divinity. A Liege is between a middle 10th realm true divinity to a lower 11th realm true divinity while a Monarch is anything between a lower 11th realm true divinity to a peaked 11th realm true divinity.

A Supreme Void Sovereign is always at the 12th realm true divinity.

Basically, a single Supreme Void Sovereign can overpower most of the true divinities of the Six Immortal Realms.

Luckily, there are no Supreme Void Sovereigns in the Ancient Battleground of the Fallen Gods.

It is said that in the past, there is a Paramount Void Sovereign that called himself the True Devil God. He is equaled to the 13th realm true divinity and also the first one of the void creatures to be a Paramount Void Sovereign.

The True Devil God is also the first void creature ever to break free of the Great Void and to the Great Unfathomable Chasm that is outside.

When he had first seen the endless plains and mountains, the divide between earth and the heavens and the storm clouds for the very first time, he was very surprised for everything was very different from the darkness and the emptiness of the Great Void.

From where he had come from, he had dominated a big rock in the vast emptiness of space and over the other rocks in the Great Void.

He had thought that he was already a very powerful Void Sovereign because his Rock was already very big, spreading a million miles across and he had a hundred thousand Rocks of various sizes under his control. And he had 100 million void creatures under his dominion.

Not all void creatures could have a Rock or have the birthright to stay in rocks, especially not the low level void creatures which are just mindless profound beasts with brute strength.

Using his divine sense, he was astonished that in this vast expanse of land, it was even bigger than all his rocks combined.

And this hurt his pride because he had always thought that he had the biggest Rock and this Rock was not only bigger than all his rocks but it was also more beautiful than his Rocks.

His powerful divine sense was extremely powerful and he had already scanned trillion of miles in all directions; he saw vegetations, trees and profound beasts of all sizes which he had not seen before.

The very first instinct that he had when he saw the other living creatures were the urge to conquer them and to subjugated them.

But slowly, he began to overcomes this urge because he was searching for intelligent forms, especially the other Void Sovereigns.

He wanted to make sure there was no other powerful Void Sovereigns that were really here to compete with him.

When he saw there was no one, he had thought: Of course there are no other Void Sovereigns. I am the first ever to break through of the Great Void. I am the most powerful of the Void Sovereigns and all the other Void Sovereigns have to bow down to me and proclaim to me that my Rock is the most beautiful Rock in the entire Great Void.

Actually he did not know how big the Great Void is. And no one knows too because each expanse of space can be infinity large.

But the True Devil God knows that in his space, he is the most powerful of all the hundreds of thousands of Void Sovereigns.

Maybe beyond his space and the dangerous void storms, there was no other life.

The True Devil God was curious to know the boundaries of this strange place that was bigger than his Rock and so he took flight at a tremendous speed to find its boundaries.

But before he took flight, he was not at all eager to share his new findings to the other Void Sovereigns and hence, he decided to close the spatial space that he had created when he had broken through to this place.

Already he had decided to call this new place as the ’Most Beautiful Eden Rock’.

He flew for a long time; he saw no other Void Sovereigns. The only powerful foes are those strange profound beasts but they were few in between. He also saw space rifts that took him across his Eden Rock.

He hoped that he did not find a space rift that took him back to the Great Void because he may not find this place again.

He was actually investigating the boundaries of a void storm that had been raging for million of years when he had noticed that a space seemed to be weak and hence, he had torn it apart to open a void passage.

He did not care if this unknown void passage is dangerous or not, or even where it would be taking him because time is meaningless to him; if the other Void Sovereigns rebelled in his absence, then all he needed to do is to retake everything back again and he has already made it known that he would not treat traitors kindly.

Time passed and he did not reach the boundaries of his Eden Rock because he found himself back to his starting point.

This time he was frustrated and pissed off. He even tried to fly to the heavens above but there was powerful pressure constantly and lightning that would push him down once he had flown to a certain height.

He began to ponder and the years passed.

Should he go back to his Rock and asked the other Void Sovereigns for help to tear apart the heavens?

No, this will only hurt his pride! And he did not want the other Void Sovereigns to know of his Eden Rock so soon.

This place is his precious!

Time passed and finally another Paramount Void Sovereign had emerged. Naturally a fierce battle had emerged with this new Paramount Void Sovereign that called himself the Transmigration Devil God.

The True Devil God had of course recognized the Transmigration Devil God as his former subject but he had been away for far too long that the Transmigration Devil God had become the new Sovereign of Sovereigns over the Great Void.

The Transmigration Devil God naturally was surprised to see the True Devil God in this place because he had missing for so long.

However, as a Paramount Void Sovereign, he felt that he had been powerful enough to challenge the True Devil God.

But much to his surprise, he found himself losing to the True Devil God and he was finally killed. When he had died, he could only blame the True Devil God for taking advantage of him when he had expended his profound strength to open the rift to this place.

That was his conclusion but not the conclusion of the True Devil God.

The True Devil God could still kill him even if the Transmigration Devil God was at full strength.

The true reason why the True Devil God did not kill him immediately but had pretended otherwise was because he was trying to purposely draw the Transmigration Devil God to the heavens so that he could finally broken free of the shackles of this place; he had a need to make use of the devastating profound energies from the Transmigration Devil God.

The Transmigration Devil God was what he had needed without losing his pride to go back to the Great Void to ask for help from the other Void Sovereigns!

Almost immediately after killing the Transmigration Devil God, the True Devil God had disappeared through to the stormy heavens above.

As for the remains of the Transmigration Devil God, eons later an immortal from the Desolate Realm had chanced upon a bone of the remains and he had become the Great God of Transmigration. But this is a later story.

As for the rift between the Great Void and the Eden Rock, it was not closed and the void creatures began to invade this place which was called the Eden Rock but later becomes the Ancient Battlefield of the Fallen Gods.
