Chapter 1446: Ji Yuan in the Ancient Battleground

Ji Yuan was taken to the Ancient Battleground of the Fallen Gods by a flash of light and he soon found himself overlooking a large desolate plain and there were towering mountains in the distant horizons.

Unlike the Celestial Realm, the entire sky of the Ancient Battleground of the Fallen Gods was shrouded with desolate mists, the exact opposite of the Celestial Realm where the mountains below were shrouded with desolate mists.

But he was not alone.

Zhi Jiugong, Shui Xisi, the Smiling Divine Maiden, the Lovely Empress, Great Divine Consort Xu Yifei, the Immortal Fairy Lucia, the Goddess Destiny, Ding Xiaoxiao and Yun Chi were all taken to the same place as him.

By right, all the immortal gods were supposed to be taken away and randomly taken to the outer fridge of the Ancient Battleground of the Fallen Gods so that each and every single one of them would have the opportunity to find their cultivation resources in this place.

But it seemed that the Great Beyond Goddess had made an exception for Ji Yuan and his maidens.

Ji Yuan also got a pleasant surprise when Bai Qianfeng and the Philosopher Goddess had also appeared.

The minute that Bai Qianfeng had appeared, she had immediately flashed into the embrace of Ji Yuan!

"Ji Yuan! I didn’t think that we would see each other in the same place. I really miss you!" The usual nonchalant Bai Qianfeng was actually in tears as she embraced Ji Yuan tightly.

The other maidens could see the affections that Ji Yuan had for Bai Qianfeng and they quietly stood to one aside as the two of them hugged and chatted quietly.

None of the maidens were looking envious because they were all cultivators and they knew that the Ancient Battleground of the Fallen Gods was a most dangerous place and many would not be able to return alive.

But still, there were many that were willing to come.

But these maidens were all coming because of Ji Yuan and not for the profound treasures of the Ancient Battleground of the Fallen Gods.

All of a sudden, there were two more flashes and two extraordinary maidens began to appear; they were at the false immortal levels and it was really courageous for them to come.

These two maidens were the Cardinal Priestess Xuan Qiaoqiao and Juan Xian’Er where Ji Yuan had met in the Dark Abyssal Realm.

These two maidens immediately flashed and embraced Ji Yuan as well!

Ji Yuan was overjoyed to see the both of them and he was looking quite awkward.

Bai Qianfeng smiled, "Ji Yuan, I can see that you have two new maidens here. Why don’t you introduce them to us?"

All the other maidens except for Ding Xiaoxiao had not seen these two maidens before.

The Cardinal Priestess Xuan Qiaoqiao looked shyly into the golden eyes of Ji Yuan as she started to look around. She had recognized Ding Xiaoxiao and was startled to see her as the savior of her realm.

She quickly raised both hands to pay homage to Ding Xiaoxiao and Juan Xian’Er did the same too to Ding Xiaoxiao.

Ding Xiaoxiao simply waved her hands as she said, "There is no need to be polite. We are all Ji Yuan’s maidens here."

Juan Xian’Er were stunned as she could tell that some of the maidens were powerful immortal goddess!

Only Zhi Jiugong, the Lovely Empress and the Smiling Divine Maiden were the same as them in the false immortal level of the 8th cultivation realm.

Ji Yuan simply laughed jovially as he quickly introduced Xuan Qiaoqiao and Juan Xian’Er to everyone. At the same time, he was also introducing the Philosopher Goddess to the others too as not everyone was acquainted with the Philosopher Goddess yet except for Shui Xisi and the Goddess Destiny.

None of the maidens were envious and they were even smiling.

The reasons for their smiles were obvious because they were all together with Ji Yuan. Whether the outcome is life or death in the future, at least they can be with the one that they love. To them, this is the most important thing.

Just as Ji Yuan was pondering over his next course of action in the Ancient Battleground of the Fallen Gods, the divine voice of the Great Beyond Goddess began to echo from above, "All of you here who are in the Ancient Battleground today have chosen to come here from your own free will. To all of you that are here today, I must applaud your courage to fight the outer invaders..."

She paused for a while before continuing, "My divine power can only hold the seal that much and I need all of you to assist in killing 100 Void Sovereigns in this place. Already, they are trying to destroy the seal to the Great Void so that the more powerful Supreme Void Sovereigns can emerge. And they can also cultivate into a Supreme Void Sovereign. Because the Great Void is still sealed, none of the Void Sovereigns can cultivate into a Supreme Void Sovereigns..."

The divine voice of the Great Beyond Goddess had suddenly become melancholy, "100 Void Sovereigns. There was a short pause before she continued, "I know that many of you are only here to look for profound treasures and not to fight the void creatures. But I hope that you can contribute to the greater good by extinguishing the Void Sovereigns together..."

"If by the 10th year if we still do not meet the number of kills for the Void Sovereigns, I will be forced to forcefully bring in the more powerful immortals in the Six Immortal Realms. I hope that I will not have to reach to that point though. We must never allow the void creatures to plaque the Six Immortal Realms or we will all be doomed. The Six Immortal Realms are not as strong as before and we lack the resources to combat a full invasion of the outer invaders..."

The Great Beyond Goddess then said quietly, "I wish all of you great destiny and great fortunes. The future of the Six Immortal Realms now rests in your hands."

After she had said that, the dark gloomy heavens became quiet once more as the Great Beyond Goddess departed.

Ji Yuan looked up the gloomy heavens and he was grinning to himself: Jiajia, I will be the one that you will depend upon and not the rest. After this, we can be together, right?
