Chapter 1619: Chapter 1619: Taking the Demon Tower

The original plan of the Sky Demon Clan was to lure the Human Clan army within a million miles of the Demon Tower, then use the tower’s Suppressing Aura to deal them a heavy blow.

However, they also knew that the Human Clan was not foolish, and it wouldn’t be easy to get them to obediently enter the Demon Tower’s suppression range. "Suppress this damned despicable fellow for me," ordered the blue-skinned Demon King.

"Yes!" responded the Demon General in charge of operating the tower.

"Why did they stop attacking?" Jing Yan’s eyes narrowed slightly.

The black light fired from the tower had vanished.

"Hmph, let’s take it out on the Sky Demon Army first!" Jing Yan did not approach the tower but instead moved towards the Sky Demon Army.

Jing Yan didn’t dare get too close to the Demon Tower, unsure if he could avoid those black beams. Although the Sky Demon Army tried to keep close to the tower, their large numbers meant not all of them could be near it.

"That human is coming."

"Quick, spread out! Do not cluster together. If we spread out, he won’t be able to kill too many of us at once," the Sky Demon Army stirred, desperately dispersing and maintaining distance from each other.

"Die!" Jing Yan unleashed the Chaos Sword.

"Buzz buzz!"

At this moment, energy fluctuations surged again from the Demon Tower.

After Jing Yan slew over a hundred Sky Demons with one strike, he immediately turned his gaze toward the Demon Tower. He saw a black shield forming around the tower, emanating a terrifying power. The suppressing aura of the Demon Tower couldn’t be compared with the attack power of the black beam. Naturally, the Suppressing Aura radiates over a million miles, while the black beam acts in a straight line. Purely in terms of attack power, if the suppressing aura matched the Black Death Light, it would indeed be bizarre.

Nonetheless, the Suppressing Aura was still extremely terrifying. Even an ordinary Human God Lord, if caught under the aura for long, might be suppressed to death.

Under the Suppressing Aura, Jing Yan was somewhat affected, needing to constantly mobilize the power of the Shadow World to counter the external suppression forces.

"The Suppressing Aura is effective; continue using Death Beams to blast this human to pieces," shouted the blue-skinned Demon King from within the Demon Tower.

The Suppressing Aura severely hampered Jing Yan’s Ultimate Nihility Domain. Although the Suppressing Aura itself couldn’t pose a lethal threat to Jing Yan, it affected the space within a million miles, freezing the Power of Laws and making it extremely difficult for Jing Yan to deploy his Ultimate Nihility Domain.

Outside the Demon Tower, a million miles away, Chunyu Venerable and other members of the Human Clan were constantly watching the tower and Jing Yan. Seeing Jing Yan struck and knocked back, their hearts tightened, well aware of the Death Beam’s power.

"Attack! Hit the Suppressing Aura and try to weaken its power," Chunyu Venerable commanded.

"Boom boom boom!"

Countless Human Clan strong, all channeled their Divine Power to attack the Demon Tower’s Suppressing Aura. Their attacks could indeed have an effect. First, they could drain more of the Demon Tower’s energy. Secondly, this could relieve some of the pressure on Jing Yan.

Jing Yan halted in space, took a deep breath, and steadied his turbulent blood. In an instant, he checked the condition of his Inner Body World.

"Truly formidable! Just one hit shook my Shadow World. If I’m hit more, I’ll get injured. If I get struck dozens or hundreds of times, I might get blasted apart!"
