Chapter 1717 1717: Annihilation

Jing Yan and Mo Ku had not been outside the city for long when a figure rapidly flew toward them from their right front.

Jing Yan and Mo Ku halted, their gazes icy as they stared at the approaching figure.

"Two Daoists!" When this person arrived nearby, he cupped his hands toward Jing Yan and Mo Ku, with a faint smile on his face, delivering a somewhat courteous greeting.

"Why do you stop us, Your Excellency?" Jing Yan asked solemnly.

"Don't misunderstand, I harbor no malice toward you. However, you may not know that the Double Evil Gang has taken notice of you, which is not good news for you." The man said in a calm tone.

"Who are you, Your Excellency? What does it have to do with you that we've caught the attention of the Double Evil Gang?" Jing Yan asked with a flicker in his eyes.

"Apologies, apologies, I was so eager to warn you about the Double Evil Gang that I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Shan Ji, the Chief Manager of the Shan Clan Tribe." Shan Ji smiled and introduced himself.

"Chief Manager Shan Ji, thank you for your warning, we are aware. If there's nothing else, we'll take our leave." Jing Yan cupped his hands in response.

This Shan Ji claimed to be the Chief Manager of the Shan Clan Tribe. Jing Yan was aware of the Shan Clan Tribe, a Five-Star force in the Shamanic Clouds Domain. While in the Floating Domain, Ying Huixu and others specifically informed Jing Yan about some situations in the Shamanic Clouds Domain, particularly its powerful forces.

Ying Huixu and they had mentioned the Shan Clan Tribe to Jing Yan multiple times. The Shan Clan Tribe was a very powerful force with significant influence throughout the Shamanic Clouds Domain.

"Chief Manager Shan Ji, we appreciate your kindness, but we truly don't need additional protection. The mere Double Evil Gang poses no threat to us." Jing Yan shook his head.

"Haha… If that's the case, then I shall stop meddling. I wish you both good luck!" Shan Ji chuckled coldly, turned around, and left.

"Two fools, do they really think I was just trying to scare them? By the time they're ambushed by the Double Evil Gang, it'll be too late for regrets," Shan Ji thought with disdain.

"Mo Ku, let's go." Watching Shan Ji leave, Jing Yan spoke to Mo Ku.

The two continued flying forward.

About an hour later, a Chaos Flying Boat appeared behind Jing Yan and Mo Ku, moving at high speed.

"Here they come!" Jing Yan turned around, eyeing the rapidly approaching Chaos Flying Boat.

This Chaos Flying Boat must belong to the Double Evil Gang.

Soon, the Chaos Flying Boat was nearby. A group of people flew out of the Chaos Flying Boat.

"Haha, these two brats didn't run away!"

"They probably realized escape was futile and impossible!"

"These are two fat sheep. They spent at least thousands of Nine-Level Divine Crystals in the city. They surely have more Nine-Level Divine Crystals on them."

The Double Evil Gang members stared at Jing Yan and Mo Ku with blazing eyes.

The last to fly down from the Chaos Flying Boat were the leader and the second-in-command of the Double Evil Gang, both Great Witch Level experts. In the Great Witch Realm, their powers were quite average; one was a First Rank Great Witch, the other a Second Rank.

"Big brother, second brother!"

When the two leaders appeared, the Double Evil Gang members immediately greeted them respectfully.

"Are those two the fat sheep from the Floating Domain?" the leader pointed toward Jing Yan and Mo Ku.

"Big brother! Yes, that's them. These two fat sheep came out from the Super Transmission Array, and I saw them immediately." one person said.

The speaker was the cultivator from the Wizard Realm who had taken two Wizard Crystals from Jing Yan as passage fee.

"Surround them, don't let them escape." The leader waved his hand.

The group shouted as they surrounded Jing Yan and Mo Ku.

Jing Yan and Mo Ku didn't rush to make a move but calmly watched as the group surrounded them. Jing Yan's gaze stayed on the leader and the second-in-command of the Double Evil Gang.

"Haha, you two, hand over all your resources. I'm in a good mood today, so if you cooperate, I'll let you go." The leader of the Double Evil Gang, with hands behind his back, shouted at Jing Yan.

"Are you the leader of the Double Evil Gang?" Jing Yan asked, eyes fixed.

"Heh heh, looks like this lad has some sense." The leader nodded.

"Big bro, it's not this kid's savvy, but your reputation that's widespread. Even kids from the Floating Domain know you." The second-in-command flattered.

"Hahaha…" The leader roared with laughter.

"So, can you explain why we should hand over our resources?" Jing Yan interrupted the leader's laughter.

"Hmm?"

"Kid, what did you say?" The Double Evil Gang members seemed unprepared for such a naive question from Jing Yan.

Wasn't the situation self-evident? They were going to rob! This lad dared to ask why he should hand over his resources! Dumb, truly foolish sheep.

After a brief moment of surprise, the group from the Double Evil Gang all burst into laughter.

"This fat sheep is really stupid! Well, I'm in an even better mood now," they said.

"Kid, listen up. I'm the boss of the Double Evil Gang, and we're going to rob you. It's best if you cooperate and leave your resources behind, then scram. Otherwise, your little lives might be in danger," the boss said proudly.

"You want to rob me?" Jing Yan squinted his eyes.

"That's right! Kid, we're going to rob you," the second in command shouted.

"Alright then, since you want to rob me, I will rob you instead. Listen up, you fools from the Double Evil Gang, hand over your resources quietly and scram. Otherwise, I'll start a massacre," Jing Yan suddenly raised his voice and shouted.

The members of the Double Evil Gang were stunned again, some of them looking at each other, thinking they had misheard.

Someone actually wants to rob the Double Evil Gang? That's simply ridiculous!

"Boss, this fat sheep actually called you an idiot!" the second in command gave a glance at the boss.

Jing Yan's insults were not only directed at the boss of the Double Evil Gang but referred to the entire gang as fools.

"Damn it!"

"Kill this kid! I've changed my mind; we must kill them today," the boss erupted.

"What are you all staring at? Go, take them down!" the second in command immediately ordered.

"Boom!"

"Kill!"

"Take down these two fat sheep!" In an instant, members of the Double Evil Gang surrounding Jing Yan and Mo Ku lunged at them like hungry wolves.

"Courting death!" Mo Ku coldly growled, taking out his axe weapon and fiercely attacking the members of the Double Evil Gang.

The strongest of these Double Evil Gang underlings could only be at the Wizard Realm, unable to withstand Mo Ku's fierce assault. Essentially, one ax one enemy, and he had killed four in the blink of an eye.

At this point, the boss and the second in command of the Double Evil Gang realized something was wrong. These two fat sheep don't seem to be so easy to deal with.

The Double Evil Gang indeed did not anticipate that Jing Yan and Mo Ku would be cultivators at the Great Witch Realm.

In the Witch Realm, cultivators often come from other Four Domains to the Shamanic Clouds Domain. Most of these incoming cultivators are at the Wizard Realm. Very few are at the Great Witch Realm. Out of a hundred incoming cultivators, perhaps only one would be at the Great Witch Realm.

Add to that, Jing Yan and Mo Ku don't look like Great Witches. If they were strong at the Great Witch Level, how could they obediently pay the passage fee? And that's two Wizard Crystals as a fee.

For this reason, everyone in the Double Evil Gang didn't believe Jing Yan and Mo Ku would be powerful, thinking they were at most two Wizards. Now, upon engagement, they were dumbfounded.

In a short time, Mo Ku had already killed more than ten gang members of the Double Evil Gang.

"Damn it! Second, go hold him up. Everyone else, finish off the young lad first," the boss ordered the second in command.

"Yes, boss!" The second did not hesitate. After the boss ordered, he flashed forward and rushed towards Mo Ku, who was chasing the remaining Double Evil Gang members.

After the second locked Mo Ku down, the other gang members regained some of their pallor and then viciously redirected their targets towards Jing Yan.

Jing Yan shook his head, sighing lightly.

"I gave you the chance; submit your resources quietly and live to return. Unfortunately, you didn't cherish it," Jing Yan said in a regretful tone.

"Swish!"

"Whoosh whoosh whoosh!" Jing Yan lifted a hand, and a burst of sword light instantly condensed.

The sword light trembled, and numerous black patterns spread out. Each black pattern swept over a member of the Double Evil Gang. Many of these remnants left by Mo Ku could not even make a sound before their bodies were torn to shreds.

Essentially, in an instant, more than twenty members of the Double Evil Gang were all dead.

"What?"

"Impossible!" the boss shouted, barely believing his eyes.

Initially, when Mo Ku struck, he determined Mo Ku was at the Great Witch Level, and thought Jing Yan was just a soft target. Unexpectedly, Jing Yan was even more terrifying.

The second, who was engaged with Mo Ku, also turned back and glanced in astonishment.

"Where are they?"

Where are his reliable subordinates from the Double Evil Gang? There were dozens! Why are they gone? The second didn't see the scene of these gang members being slaughtered, so at first, he didn't realize they had already been taken out.

After slaughtering the Double Evil Gang members, Jing Yan flashed to approach the boss of the Double Evil Gang.

"Hongmeng Dao Pattern!" Jing Yan did not plan to slowly take down the Double Evil Gang's boss.

Of course, to kill a Second-stage Great Witch swiftly, Jing Yan needed to employ his strongest method. And when Jing Yan launched his most potent attack, the boss of the Double Evil Gang was sentenced to death. He could not withstand it. The second had been observing the fight between Jing Yan and his boss from a while back. When he saw his boss being killed with one sword stroke, his heart almost jumped out in fear. Keep fighting? That would be foolish!

However, thinking of fleeing was evidently unrealistic. Mo Ku swung his axe three times, shattering the second's defense energy around his body, and the final axe struck his back, seriously injuring him. Though not dead yet, he could not withstand Mo Ku's next axe, which turned his head into pulp.
