The Sword God of the Universe

Chapter 1734: Fate Dao

Chapter 1734: Chapter 1734: Fate Dao

That feeling, it was as if he could govern everything.

Before the Time and Space Law reached completion, Jing Yan’s perception of the environment in the Extreme Land was somewhat hazy. But now, even the chaotic space-time within the Extreme Land could be clearly discerned by Jing Yan.

It felt as though... he was detached from everything.

"No wonder!"

"No wonder the difference between the Heavenly Venerate and the Supreme is so vast! It is indeed a qualitative leap; the two are fundamentally not in the same league." Jing Yan pondered silently.

As for himself, if it weren’t for cultivating the Ten Thousand Realms Technique, mastering the Power of the Shadow World, and already controlling the second layer of the Shadow World, he might not have been able to kill the strong at the Chaotic Supreme Level. It can be said that before Jing Yan became a Supreme in Law, his main attack power was derived from the Power of the Shadow World.

The Chaos Sword, Divine Soul Storm, and other methods could only be considered auxiliary.

Of course, the Hongmeng Dao Pattern is indeed a very potent attack method, especially the Second Realm of the Hongmeng Dao Pattern, whose Power is unmatched. But even so, without the Power of the second layer of the Shadow World, Jing Yan might only be able to rival a First Rank Chaotic Supreme.

Now Jing Yan in Law has also stepped into the Chaotic Supreme Realm. His combat power is indeed terrifying.

Jing Yan spent some time familiarizing himself with the enhanced strength after stepping into the Supreme Realm. The Nine Great Laws slowly operated smoothly.

Gradually, the Chaos Sword also underwent changes due to the completion of the Nine Great Laws. With the completion of the Nine Great Laws as a foundation, perfecting the Chaos Sword was a simple matter for Jing Yan. This process did not consume much time.

After perfecting the Chaotic Supreme, Jing Yan tried once more with the Divine Soul Storm.

After stepping into the Chaotic Supreme Realm, Jing Yan’s Divine Soul Body is certainly much stronger than before. The more powerful the Divine Soul Body, the more terrifying the power of the Divine Soul Storm. When Jing Yan, in the Heavenly Venerate Realm, deployed the Divine Soul Storm, it could only sneak attack a Chaotic Supreme. Furthermore, the power of the Divine Soul Storm did not actually harm the Chaotic Supreme.

But now, if Jing Yan deploys the Divine Soul Storm, even a Third-rank Chaos Supreme might be dumbfounded. Even the High-level Chaotic Supreme would suffer severe impacts, especially if unprepared.

"The Extreme Land has not expelled me yet."

"Then let me continue cultivating."

In fact, Jing Yan could only wait for the Extreme Land to expel him. Entering the Extreme Land offers a path via the Heavenly Gate. However, to exit, there is no Heavenly Gate, only the natural order of the Extreme Land to transport. So, even if Jing Yan wants to leave now, it is not possible.

After stepping into the Chaotic Supreme Realm, the once incomprehensible and obscure aspects of the Hongmeng Dao Pattern and the Ten Thousand Realms Technique now became clear.

Jing Yan has many resources on him, including various Elixirs, minerals, and a large quantity of Wizard Crystals, enough to allow Jing Yan to cultivate the Hongmeng Dao Pattern and the Ten Thousand Realms Technique without any concern.

Of course, Jing Yan is also searching for his own Great Dao.

After stepping into the Chaotic Supreme Realm, any cultivator can attempt to comprehend the existence of the Dao, which is a natural progression. Once they grasp the Dao, the cultivator’s strength will increase once more.

Typically, after a cultivator touches the threshold of the Dao, they advance from First-Order Supreme to Second Order Supreme. Once the Dao is mastered more profoundly, they advance from Second Order Supreme to Third-rank Supreme.

In general, Third-rank Supreme are quite adept at utilizing the power of the Dao.

Within the Chaos Universe, there are many types of Dao. There is the Water and Fire Dao, the Wind Dao, the Thunder and Lightning Dao, the Cold Ice Dao, the Space-Time Dao, the Life and Death Dao, and many others.

There are extremely many kinds of Dao, and different types of Dao vary in power. Some Dao have strong attack power, while others have strong survival power. Yet regardless of which Great Dao it is, once mastered profoundly, it can unleash exceptionally terrifying power.

According to legend, there are three thousand kinds of Dao, which is the origin of the saying "Three Thousand Great Dao" within the Chaos Universe.

However, though these Great Dao are of immense power, they also have hierarchical differences.

Dao like the Space-Time Dao and the Life and Death Dao are very high-level Daos. Dao like the Water and Fire Dao, the Wind Dao, and the Thunder and Lightning Dao are relatively lower in level.

Like the Dripping Water Dao and the Fiery Flame Dao, they are of a lower level again. The Dripping Water Dao and the Fiery Flame Dao are essentially evolved from the Water and Fire Dao.

The more high-level a Dao is, the harder it is to comprehend and penetrate. An average Chaotic Supreme wouldn’t deliberately try to comprehend a high-level Dao. For a typical Chaotic Supreme, mastering some low-level Dao is quite satisfactory. Moreover, mastering low-level Dao first does not conflict with attempting to comprehend higher-level Dao later.

A Chaotic Supreme is not limited to mastering only one Dao.

However, since even a Chaotic Supreme has limits to their energy, generally not many Chaotic Supremes in the Chaos Universe master multiple Daos. Most Chaotic Supremes only master one low-level Dao.

As for how a Chaotic Supreme develops their own Dao, it’s not something a cultivator can decide on their own. When a cultivator contemplates and comprehends the supreme order, the first Dao they sense generally becomes the Dao they choose to explore. For if one gives up on it, who knows how long it will take to encounter a second Dao. Delaying by hundreds of millions of years is normal.

Jing Yan sits in a place where the flow of time is several hundred times that of the outside and continues to cultivate. Amidst the massive consumption of resources, Jing Yan’s Hongmeng Dao Pattern and Shadow World are gradually advancing.

One could say that Jing Yan’s strength is increasing quickly at every moment.

Another tens of thousands of years passed.

"Buzz!"

Jing Yan’s body trembled slightly.

At this moment, Jing Yan’s eyes remained closed. But he clearly sensed a long river descending from above. This was a long river suffused with a purple glow.

Jing Yan felt the aura of the Great Dao.

He quickly opened up his Divine Soul to perceive and connect.

"This is..."

"What kind of Dao is this? It’s actually purple!" Jing Yan, eyes closed, merged his Divine Soul with the purple river.

"Impossible, right?"

"How could it be! Is this, by chance, the Fate Dao?"

"Why?"

"The Fate Dao, isn’t it the legendary Dao?" Jing Yan grew even more astonished.

In the Chaos Universe, there are legends about the Fate Dao. It is said that there are two kinds of Dao that transcend the Three Thousand Great Dao, the supreme Daos.

One is the Fate Dao, and the other is the Way of Cause and Effect. These two Daos are beyond the scope of the Three Thousand Great Dao.

The Daos mastered by those Chaotic Supremes are ultimately Daos constructed upon the Nine Great Laws. Yet the Fate Dao and the Path of Cause are beyond the influence of the Nine Great Laws.
