This Golden Body All Things Realm Devouring Sky Clan creature remained within the group, never overtly flying out to attack the three who were fleeing. This Golden Body Devouring Heaven Clan member was restricting the three who were fleeing while commanding the surrounding waves of Devouring Sky Clan creatures, seemingly determined to kill those three no matter what.

The group of Devouring Sky Clan creatures behind had been chasing them for quite some time. The Golden Body Devouring Heaven Clan member was constraining their speed. Their flight under such conditions was immensely taxing. Yet, they simply couldn’t shake off the tidal wave of Devouring Sky Clan creatures behind them.

"Brother Zhuo’er, why don’t you go ahead first!" a black-robed lifeform called out to the person not far ahead.

The person ahead was Zhuo’er from the Void Divine Hall. The black-robed lifeform speaking was also a Void Divine Hall Void Son but significantly less powerful than Zhuo’er, making him part of those in the third tier entering the fortress.

Besides the two from the Void Divine Hall, the third person was a core member from Fuqu Country, also belonging to the third tier in terms of strength when entering the fortress. Among the frenzied escape, Zhuo’er at the forefront appeared the most relaxed. Given his strength, he could have eluded those pursuing him. However, he seemed in no hurry to leave.

"If I leave first, you two will have little chance of survival." Zhuo’er glanced sideways, speaking quietly.

"If worst comes to worst, we should activate the Transmission Treasure and leave this Devouring Sky Clan fortress." The black-robed lifeform gritted his teeth and said.

Zhuo’er said no more.

Suddenly, his eyes glinted. At this time, he noticed Jing Yan. Zhuo’er, very close to the Controller level within the All Things Realm, had a formidable Divine Soul Body, though not as comparable as Jing Yan’s. Yet, with his Divine Thought spreading fully, he could cover a considerable range here. His Divine Thought detected the hovering Jing Yan.

A cold smile grew on his lips.

"There’s a chance!"

"You two, follow me." Zhuo’er instructed the two behind him.

Though unsure of Zhuo’er’s intentions, they followed him obediently.

Jing Yan, hovering there, was observing Zhuo’er and the group of Devouring Sky Clan creatures, considering whether to strike and kill a few to earn some points. Then, he noticed Zhuo’er and his two companions changing their initial flight path, now heading directly towards him.

A coldness quickly spread across Jing Yan’s face. Though unable to comprehend Zhuo’er’s plan, it was easy to discern Zhuo’er’s intention from his actions. For the three to alter their flight direction towards him so abruptly, it was evidently a hostile act.

"Brother, is there someone there? Is that... Jing Yan from Hongjun Heavenly Palace?" The black-robed lifeform and the Fuqu Country creature simultaneously noticed Jing Yan.

"Indeed, it is him. This fellow killed the Void Son Die Dong from our Void Divine Hall before; he’s truly deserving of death! Well, before he dies, we can make use of him. With him here, perhaps you two can escape this swarm of Devouring Sky Clan creatures." Zhuo’er remarked in a low voice.

He planned to use Jing Yan as bait to draw the attention of the Devouring Sky Clan creatures following, allowing them to escape undetected.

Unless absolutely necessary, they didn’t want to use the Transmission Treasure to leave the fortress. Once gone, next time they enter, they wouldn’t have the Transmission Treasure to secure their lives.

The people from the Void Divine Hall naturally held no affection for Jing Yan. Even without being pursued by the Devouring Sky Clan creatures, if they encountered Jing Yan in the fortress and were confident in killing Jing Yan before he activated his Transmission Treasure to exit the fortress, there was high likelihood they would have immediately taken action.

"Zhuo’er, what do you mean by this?" Jing Yan’s Divine Thought stirred, shouting angrily.

"What do you mean? Fellow Daoist Jing Yan, don’t you see the three of us are being chased by Devouring Sky Clan creatures? Since we ran into you here, are you simply going to stand by? Quickly, help us alleviate some of this pressure." Zhuo’er replied despicably.

Among Zhuo’er and his companions, only the Fuqu Country creature displayed a hint of compassion on their face.
