Kong Ying’s face was flushed red.
As the Deputy Mountain Master of Boundaryless Spirit Mountain, Kong Ying naturally valued face. Jing Yan demanding him to get out was a humiliation he had never experienced in his life. If anyone else had insulted him this way, he would have retaliated immediately. However, when faced with Jing Yan, he was indeed somewhat afraid.

"I must see what he wants to do!" Kong Ying gritted his teeth and eventually stepped out of his palace.
As he walked out, Kong Ying saw many members of Boundaryless Spirit Mountain near the palace, all looking at him. It was clear these members were waiting for him to come out.
"Deputy Mountain Master!"
"Deputy Mountain Master!" Members of Boundaryless Spirit Mountain greeted Kong Ying, including those Hall Masters at the Controller Level. The Hall Masters of Boundaryless Spirit Mountain were of the same caliber as those of Hongjun Heavenly Palace.
Kong Ying nodded slightly to those present and then his figure gently flashed as he moved towards the outskirts of Boundaryless Spirit Mountain.
He quickly saw Jing Yan floating above Boundaryless Spirit Mountain.
"Palace Master Jing Yan, what do you mean by this?" Kong Ying looked at Jing Yan and questioned sternly.
He seemed strong, but in reality, he was merely posturing, as he dared not leave the coverage of the inner and outer Big Array of Boundaryless Spirit Mountain. Clearly, he was worried that if he left the defensive range of Boundaryless Spirit Mountain, he would not be able to fend off Jing Yan’s attack, or even be killed.
Under the defense forces of Boundaryless Spirit Mountain, he felt much safer. Even though Jing Yan’s personal strength was formidable, breaking through the defenses of Boundaryless Spirit Mountain would be exceedingly difficult.
"Kong Ying!" Jing Yan looked distantly at Kong Ying, the Deputy Mountain Master.
Gradually, other Hall Masters at the Controller Level from Boundaryless Spirit Mountain gathered behind Kong Ying.
Jing Yan’s actions were, by all means, considered provocative against Boundaryless Spirit Mountain. No one would desire to see an outsider floating above their headquarters.
"Kong Ying, you should recognize someone named Jiao Jian, right? I hear this Jiao Jian is also a member of Boundaryless Spirit Mountain and your subordinate," Jing Yan said slowly.
"Jiao Jian? Yes, Boundaryless Spirit Mountain does have a disciple at the All Things Realm named Jiao Jian. However, at the moment, Jiao Jian seems not to be present at the headquarters of Boundaryless Spirit Mountain. Palace Master Jing Yan, do you need something from Jiao Jian?" Kong Ying replied.
He knew Jiao Jian had entered Jing Yan’s home universe and had been killed by Jing Yan; he was feigning ignorance as if he knew nothing about it.
"Kong Ying, there’s no need to play dumb. Jiao Jian acted maliciously in my home universe on your orders. I can tell you that whether you admit it or not, it won’t change the outcome," Jing Yan sneered.
A Hall Master from Boundaryless Spirit Mountain was nervously sending a message to Juefeng Mountain Master. Juefeng Mountain Master was currently not within Boundaryless Spirit Mountain. Controllers of that level often enjoy exploring remote areas of Chaos, seeking opportunities for advancement. Sometimes, if lucky, they discover special Resource Treasures.
"Mountain Master!" The Hall Master messaged Juefeng Mountain Master.
"What’s the matter?" Juefeng replied.
"Mountain Master, I’m afraid you need to return to Boundaryless Spirit Mountain. Jing Yan from Hongjun Heavenly Palace is above Boundaryless Spirit Mountain, threatening Deputy Mountain Master Kong Ying. Jing Yan has also attacked our Boundaryless Spirit Mountain," the Hall Master communicated in a peculiar tone.
"Hmm?" Juefeng was mildly surprised.
"I understand, I’ll return immediately." At the chaotic edge somewhere, Juefeng Mountain Master furrowed his brows after cutting the communication.
"What’s going on? What is this Jing Yan trying to do? Does he intend to target Boundaryless Spirit Mountain? It shouldn’t be! I have no grudges with him. Moreover, if he truly wants to target Boundaryless Spirit Mountain, under normal circumstances, he shouldn’t have the capability," Juefeng Mountain Master pondered quietly.
As thoughts swirled in his mind, he tore open the Chaos Barrier, establishing a wormhole, returning to the Ultimate Land in the next instant.
Upon appearing, he indeed saw Jing Yan above Boundaryless Spirit Mountain. Below were Kong Ying and other key members of Boundaryless Spirit Mountain.
"Ha, Palace Master Jing Yan, what does this mean? Has Boundaryless Spirit Mountain offended in any way?" Juefeng Mountain Master spoke to Jing Yan with laughter from afar.
As soon as Juefeng Mountain Master appeared, Jing Yan sensed it.
Upon hearing Juefeng Mountain Master’s words, Jing Yan also turned his gaze towards him.
"Mountain Master Juefeng, I came today not to target Boundaryless Spirit Mountain. I harbor no ill will towards you, Juefeng Mountain Master," Jing Yan shook his head and said.
"Oh? Then I’m a bit puzzled, Palace Master Jing Yan. Since it’s not directed at Boundaryless Spirit Mountain, why are you confronting members of Boundaryless Spirit Mountain at our headquarters?" Juefeng Mountain Master squinted his eyes.
He stepped lightly in the void, arriving not far from Jing Yan.
Juefeng Mountain Master, a formidable entity at the Controller Level, one of the Chaos Giants. His abilities closely matched those of He Ming and Yihua Palace Master. Though aware of Jing Yan’s strength, he was confident that even if he wasn’t Jing Yan’s match, he wouldn’t easily be defeated, so he didn’t fear Jing Yan’s sudden attack.
"I’m here today to settle accounts with Kong Ying."
"Mountain Master Juefeng, this Kong Ying dispatched a member named Jiao Jian from Boundaryless Spirit Mountain into my home universe, not only plundering numerous resources but also committing wanton slaughter, killing Cosmic Creatures. Even some of my old friends died at Jiao Jian’s hands. If I hadn’t returned in time, Jiao Jian would have slaughtered even more Cosmic Creatures in my home universe."
"Kong Ying’s actions were despicable, crossing my bottom line. Thus, while he is a key member of Boundaryless Spirit Mountain, I cannot remain silent any longer. Mountain Master Juefeng, I hope you won’t defend him," Jing Yan said slowly.
His explanation to Juefeng was a gesture of respect.
Upon hearing Jing Yan’s words, Juefeng Mountain Master’s expression changed slightly. These developments were unknown to him. Since Jing Yan became the Palace Master of Hongjun Heavenly Palace, he hadn’t been at the headquarters of Boundaryless Spirit Mountain.
Juefeng turned his focus, frowning at Deputy Mountain Master Kong Ying, whose face was somber yet he did not immediately speak in defense. Seeing Kong Ying’s demeanor, Juefeng knew Jing Yan’s words were true. Moreover, given Jing Yan’s status, it was unlikely he would arbitrarily slander others.
