Chapter 734: The King’s Eye vs The Hand of the Ruler (3)

"No need to worry," he said calmly.

"I have no intention of dying here. I’ve only just returned... and finally reunited with my children after such a long wait."

Slash!

Wave after wave, the Starlight family’s star continued to press forward.

"There’s so much I still want to talk about—

with Frey, and with Ada.

Those children grew up so much... and they did so beyond my sight."

"I lost too much time that I should have spent with them.

I have no intention of losing any more."

Slash!

Abraham’s body flared with blinding light ..

so intense that parts of his long black hair were dyed white by the sheer force he was unleashing.

He was clearly pushing himself beyond his limits.

"No one is dying today," Abraham declared with unwavering resolve, a sharp glint in his eyes.

"This is not the day we fall."

Wesker’s expression darkened.

"I see you’ve grown arrogant simply because you managed to bring down Zibar," he sneered.

"Do you truly believe all demons of the Ten Upper Ranks are the same, human?"

Once more, Wesker raised his hand, manipulating his perfect domain.

At his command, it was as if the sky itself folded inward, attempting to swallow Abraham whole ..

but Gehrman appeared at the perfect moment, pulling him clear of the attack’s range.

Gehrman was fully focused on Wesker’s most dangerous ability ..

the power that made him one of the Top Five Wave Controllers in the entire world:

The Perfect Domain.

"Within that domain, he can unleash fatal attacks freely..." Gehrman analyzed.

"In that space, he unquestionably holds the advantage."

"But I’ve already finished identifying the boundaries of his domain."

Gehrman transmitted his voice privately to Abraham, guiding their next move.

"Wesker can deploy his perfect domain within a radius of twenty meters in all directions.

All we have to do is stay outside that range and finish him with a combined long-range attack."

That was Gehrman’s plan ..

the only viable solution given his condition.

Fulgor’s power was immense, but Gehrman knew it would not last much longer.

Ending this as quickly as possible was the only option.

Abraham agreed and prepared to unleash everything he had.

Opposite them, Wesker assumed a defensive stance, his crimson eyes narrowing as he watched them closely.

Inside his mind, he was already laughing.

So my perfect domain extends twenty meters, and it’s safe to attack me from outside it...

That’s what you’re thinking, isn’t it, servant of Nameless?

Slowly, the King’s Eye glowed ..

as Wesker prepared his trap in advance.

Gehrman and Abraham advanced together, gathering the full might of their power, ready to unleash their strongest attacks.

Wesker waited.

"Yes... come closer," he whispered.

"Come and kill me. The end is near!"

Both Gehrman and Abraham were outside Wesker’s perfect domain ..

and at the final moment, they subconsciously lowered their defenses as they prepared to release their ultimate strikes.

As long as we’re outside the domain, everything will be fine...

That was what they both believed.

And that—

was the moment Wesker had been waiting for.

His grin widened into something truly horrifying.

"Then die!"

Wesker roared as the very fabric of space itself trembled.

Gehrman and Abraham were blazing with overwhelming power, fully committed to unleashing their strongest attacks—

and so they were unable to defend in time when the strikes came from every direction at once, targeting them directly.

"I never expected you to be this naïve, Saint Gehrman!"

Wesker shouted, his voice echoing through the heavens.

"Did you truly believe my domain was limited to such a pitiful distance?!"

With that, Wesker unleashed everything he had .. a terrifying attack that tore through the sky itself, devastating both Gehrman and Abraham in a single, catastrophic onslaught.

Gehrman possessed a fragile vessel, and Abraham was not strong enough to endure an attack of that magnitude.

Taking that blow head-on should have been fatal for both of them.

"The range of my domain exceeds a hundred meters, you fools...

All I had to do was pretend it was far smaller to lure you in ..

and you fell into the trap miserably."

From the very beginning, Wesker had employed a simple yet devastatingly effective deception.

Everything had been done to force his enemies into his domain with their defenses lowered.

Gehrman had been cautious.

Even after concluding that Wesker’s field was limited to twenty meters, he still refused to close in beyond fifty—just in case he was mistaken.

But Wesker had accounted for that as well.

That was why the true extent of his domain was far greater.

Within those hundred meters, Wesker was absolute.

There was no escape.

Wesker laughed in pure delight as he gazed at his enemies, whom the sky itself had torn apart and devoured.

This should have been the end.

More than enough to declare his victory.

And yet ..

Wesker suddenly frowned.

From nowhere, that strange frost began creeping across his body, freezing him at a terrifying speed.

"What...?!"

At that very moment, from the place where Gehrman and Abraham had been swallowed—

A blinding light erupted.

A radiant glow from which both Gehrman and Abraham emerged, completely unharmed.

The overwhelming light had come from Abraham ..

it had protected them both.

"You were the foolish one this time, Wesker," Gehrman shouted and vanished, reappearing directly before the Rank-Four Demon.

At the same instant, frost surged across Wesker’s body, freezing him solid, while Gehrman’s left fist ignited with terrifying blue flame.

"You underestimated me far too much.

I have lived longer than you ever have...

and I have seen things your filthy eyes never will."

From the very start, Gehrman had known his opponent was hiding something.

That was why he had instructed Abraham to pretend to attack.

But instead ..

What Abraham unleashed was his greatest defensive technique.

"Abraham Starlight Style — Supreme art : Dawn Barrier."

Abraham’s body fell slowly from the sky, having barely endured Wesker’s savage assault ..

but he had opened the opening Gehrman needed.

And Gehrman took it.

"Kill that damned demon... once and for all," Abraham said with unwavering resolve.

Gehrman’s fist ignited with blue fire of such intensity that Wesker’s body froze completely merely from proximity.

Then ..

With near-instant speed ..

Gehrman struck with his full power.

A colossal explosion erupted, erasing Wesker’s existence entirely, annihilating his body without mercy.

The shockwave erased everything in its path, triggering a cataclysm that shook the heavens themselves.

Without question, the blow was more than sufficient to kill Wesker.

His demonic body completely vanished.

All of it ..

Except for one thing.

Suspended alone in the frozen void, glowing faintly ..

The King’s Eye.
