Three Meals of a Reincarnator

Chapter 311

Chapter 311: Chapter 311

“If I don’t come back…”

“Please don’t say that. Seriously.”

Ho Sung Lee grimaced as if he was truly annoyed.

“Sir, you’re not thinking of telling me not to tell the world of your death as if you’re Lee Soon Shin or something, are you?”

“That’s not a bad idea.”

Min Sung smiled bitterly.

Ho Sung Lee sighed loudly.

“Sir, why wouldn’t you be able to come back to the human world. Is it because of the Dionysus Gods? Is that why?”

“Yes, and you never know with the future.”

“Sir, since when were you so negative?”

“The worst-case scenario will happen sooner or later. I’m only alive right now because my mind’s not a field of roses like yours.”

Ho Sung Lee wiped his nose because he was speechless.

“But do you think I can do a good job?”

Min Sung looked at Ho Sung Lee as if he was pathetic.

Ho Sung Lee nodded.

“Okay. I know what you’re about to say from your eyes.”

“What do my eyes say?”

“You’re telling me I’ll do a good job.”

“No, it’s a little different. If you can’t even do that, just die. I won’t revive you again. Just die.”

“I’ll do my best,” answered Ho Sung Lee in a respectful manner.

“Don’t just do your best. Do a good job.”

“Yes, Sir,” answered Ho Sung Lee with cowering shoulders.

Before Hellcard woke from his seal, he made an effort to obtain information regarding the history up until this point as well as what happened recently.

Hellcard used his own powers to obtain that information, and he had already organized them inside his head.

And once Hellcard knew what had happened while he was away, he smiled bitterly.

Both Veld and the Dionysus Gods were stupid.

And thanks to that, he was put into a favorable position, and he wasn’t mad about that.

The problem now was how he would act in the most favorable position.

While Hellcard thought carefully about what to do next, he opened his eyes after realizing that someone had trespassed into the Demonic Realm.

The movements felt familiar.

Hellcard didn’t hide himself, and soon after, the Dionysus Gods appeared before him.

It was the fools that ran away not long ago.

Hellcard scoffed at the Dionysus Gods.

“Do you want to go extinct?”

Hellcard asked with a laugh.

The Dionysus Gods looked humiliated, but before they could react, the blonde god stepped up first.

“We came to you with the intent of becoming the fallen angels. We came with the intention to become your subordinates, so please take us in.”

Hellcard laughed at the blonde god.

“Fallen angels…? I haven’t heard that in a really long time.”

The blonde god stayed silent and waited for Hellcard’s response.

Meanwhile, Hellcard made calculations in his head regarding their offer, but it didn’t require much thought.

Since the Demonic Realm was nearly going extinct, it would be more comfortable having subordinates, and they were quite capable volunteers.

Most importantly, he liked that it was very likely they wouldn’t betray him.

Since not much would change even if they did betray him, he believed that filling in the vacant spots came first.

“Okay. Fine.”

The Dionysus Gods looked surprised by his relatively easy acceptance, but the blonde god’s face remained unchanged as if he had seen it coming.

That was what Hellcard hated about the blonde god.

He always seemed to be hiding something.

The one he had to keep an eye on was the blonde god.

“Hey, you.”

Hellcard pointed at the blonde god with his finger.

In response, the blonde god put a hand on his chest and bowed his head slightly.

“What’s your name?”

Hellcard asked.

“Please give me a new name in the Demonic Realm.”

The blonde god calmly responded.

Hellcard stared at him before smirking.

“Rucifer. Your name is now Rucifer,” replied Hellcard.

Upon receiving his new name, the blonde god went up to Hellcard and kissed his feet as a higher sign of respect.

“You know the customs of the Demonic Realm.”

“That’s because I’ve been intending to come under you for quite some time now.”

Every one of his responses were so favorable that Hellcard felt suspicious of this man who was now named Rucifer.

“It looks like you came her because you’re afraid of being abandoned by Heaven. Yet you’re claiming that you’ve been meaning to serve me for a long time? If you don’t want me to throw you down to Hell, you’d better not lie to me.”

Hellcard spoke in a dreary voice.

The Dionysus Gods trembled at his voice alone.

That was because they saw with their own eyes just how powerful Hellcard was, but Rucifer was unshaken.

“I mean it. Whether you believe it or not, I will serve the owner of the Demonic Realm according to my own ways, and that will be the right path to follow.”

Hellcard shook his head as if he gave up and clicked his tongue.

“The Demonic Realm is in ruins.”

Hellcard said that to insult the Dionysus Gods and Rucifer, but the Dionysus Gods felt no insult from it, and Rucifer simply guarded Hellcard from the side.

“Rucifer.”

“Yes, Former Devil King.”

Hellcard felt bothered by the word ‘former.’

“That human took the position of the devil king and took Veld’s power, right?”

“That’s correct.”

“That damned human…”

Hellcard tapped on his own thigh and thought for a moment before glaring at Rucifer.

“And Heaven.”

“…”

Rucifer didn’t move nor did he give a response.

“Hey, Rucifer. What do you think we should do about it?”

Hellcard asked.

“First, we must get rid of the human who took your position and bring the Demonic Realm back on its feet.”

“That’s right. The reason why the Demonic Realm is weak is because of that damned human.”

Hellcard clicked his tongue before glaring his eyes.

“Then let’s get rid of that human first. We’ll break him one step at a time. How simple.”

Hellcard snickered.

“But.”

Hellcard stopped laughing and stared at Rucifer.

“I’m still not sure about your loyalty.”

“What do I have to do to make you believe me?”

“Heaven has a rule of not interfering with the human world.”

“…”

“So you kill him. That human.”

Silence fell among them.

The Dionysus Gods looked at each other.

In the midst of the awkwardness, the blonde god, who was now Rucifer, remained unshaken.

“Yes, Master.”

Hellcard looked at Rucifer’s obedience and smiled.

At that moment…

Boom!

A powerful impact shook Hellcard’s entire body.

Rucifer as well as the Dionysus Gods also felt it.

That meant a new presence had entered the Demonic Realm.

Hellcard realized who it was and snickered.

“I guess there’s no need to go to the human world. It’s time for you to prove your loyalty, Rucifer.”

Rucifer smiled in the western direction.

“You will become the owner of the Demonic Realm once more, former Devil King.”

“Good. Don’t disappoint me.”

A light flashed from Rucifer’s body as he disappeared in the western direction.

After that, the Dionysus Gods stood up straight and minded Hellcard’s every move.

Hellcard looked at the Dionysus Gods and clicked his tongue.

“You definitely don’t act the part of so-called Dionysus Gods.”

“…”

Hellcard got up.

“I’d better fix you right up.”

The Dionysus Gods lifted their heads and stared at Hellcard in surprise.

A dark light flowed out of Hellcard’s finger, and once it fell onto the ground in the form of liquid, it spread throughout the land of the Demonic Realm.

And the dark ground began to suck the Dionysus Gods down as if it was a marsh.

“Gasp…?!”

“Gasp!”

“Gasp!”

The Dionysus Gods wriggled around, but they were unable to escape the marsh.

Hellcard snickered at the Dionysus Gods.

“I’m not going to kill you. I’m just making you stronger, so don’t resist. Just accept my strength. You’ll be reborn as a true devil army,” Hellcard explained with goggling eyes.

“Aghhhhhh!”

The Dionysus Gods screamed in pain as they got sucked into the dark liquid.

Then, the Dionysus Gods’ bodies slowly turned black, and their eyes turned red.

Hellcard was turning the Dionysus Gods of Heaven into what looked like monsters.

And that was one of the top skills that the former devil king, Hellcard possessed.

Min Sung walked across the Demonic Realm and pulled out his Gungnir S.

With the cold Gungnir S in his hand, Min Sung looked in the eastern direction.

He felt something coming toward him.

He wouldn’t have been able to notice it before, but upon receiving Veld’s power, which originally came from the Dionysus Gods, he could sense it himself that he was much more powerful than before.

And whoever was approaching him didn’t feel weak either.

He had quite the ability.

‘Who is it?’

Veld had died, and not a single devil could cross over through the gates back to the Demonic Realm.

In that case, the only powerful presence that he could think of was them—the Dionysus Gods.

If it wasn’t the Dionysus Gods, that meant that there was someone else who was hidden, and Min Sung’s prediction was correct.

Whoosh!

The person who appeared in front of him had blonde hair with white light radiating from his body, and his name was Rucifer.

Min Sung knitted his brows at Rucifer.

He looked like a Dionysus God on the outside, but he sensed a powerful dark magic flowing through him.
