Chapter 1119: Leo’s Ultimate Move

Chapter 1119: Leo’s Ultimate Move

(The Fourth Dimension, Leo’s POV)

After spending a couple days away from training at Satoru, Leo returned to the fourth dimension to train again on the third day, as he returned to his routine of trying to perfect the special attack that would eventually win him the fight against a God.

However, this time, unlike previous attempts where he trained without any certainty of success in his mind, he trained with a sort of predatory smile on his face as though he could finally envision his enemy for real.

As every movement seemed to flow into the next with a natural precision that made him sense the breakthrough was close.

*WOOOSH*

The first phase unfolded exactly as intended, as Leo split the timestream and slipped half a beat outside the enemy’s attack path, causing the incoming blow to pass harmlessly through where his body should have been while his true position had already moved beyond that point.

The transition into the second phase came without hesitation, as Leo reappeared behind the imagined enemy and drove the dagger toward the spine with killing intent, forcing the enemy silhouette in his mind to pivot and raise one hand to deflect the stab at the very edge of impact.

Yet that exchange had never been meant to be the true kill, as while one hand was occupied reacting to the thrust, Leo’s other arm had already moved in anticipation, releasing a second slash toward the enemy’s neck from a tighter angle that the other hand could not fully react to.

For a brief moment, Leo could feel the sequence almost ending there, as the blade drew so close to the neck that victory seemed only a fraction away, and yet this was where the deeper layer of the move finally revealed itself.

Before the strike completed, Leo vanished.

And as he disappeared, the gravity attack he had planted earlier within the sequence detonated precisely on timing, causing spatial pressure to erupt violently and forcing the imagined God before him to lose balance exactly as Leo had envisioned throughout countless failed repetitions.

*KABOOM*

That was where the sequence transformed from a mere combination of attacks into something far deadlier, as every action was now feeding the next in layered inevitability, where defense itself became part of the trap instead of a means of escape.

And then, at the exact moment the enemy’s balance broke—

Leo descended.

*SLASH*

The finishing blow came from above in one merciless arc, as the imagined opponent was struck at the point where recovery had become impossible, and the full sequence finally closed in the exact order Leo had spent months trying to force into existence.

*Pant*

*Pant*

Silence followed.

Leo remained frozen for several breaths afterward, his chest rising heavily as exhaustion moved through him, while his mind struggled to accept that he had just executed the sequence precisely as he had wanted for the first time ever.

"This is it..." he muttered under his breath, as disbelief and exhilaration collided inside him.

"My move... I’ve finally done it..."

He let out a deep breath after saying it, as the weight of those words seemed to settle over him, before a slow grin began spreading across his face and soon gave way to manic laughter.

"Ha ha ha ha ha..."

The laughter echoed through the fourth dimension, as Leo thought about how difficult it had been to make the sequence work even once, and how many thousands of attempts had collapsed before the third phase ever aligned with the finishing descent.

Naturally, he understood that one successful execution did not mean mastery, as even now he could feel how much more practice would be needed before he could trust himself to perform it repeatedly in real battle, especially against an actual God fighting back.

And yet, because he had done it once, everything had changed.

Because once impossibility had been broken even a single time, repetition became only a matter of discipline.

That thought alone made him grin even wider, as he chuckled contently.

"I’ve done it. I’ve birthed my own signature move...."

He muttered, as at that point, another thought entered his mind.

"But what shall I name it?"

He wondered, as every legendary move worthy of surviving in history carried a name of its own.

The Timeless Assassin had Second’s Walk, while Kaelith had The Sovereign’s Descent, which naturally begged the question of what his own move would one day be called.

"Hmmm..."

Leo mused, as he searched for something the universe might one day speak with fear and reverence.

*Swirl*

He twirled the dagger absently, his mind chasing a name grand enough to carry the weight of a technique meant to kill Gods, while a predatory smile returned to his face as he imagined that name being whispered through history long after he was gone.

"It should be something that reflects my personality, something that sounds like me and carries the kind of cruelty I would want enemies to remember after hearing it,"

Leo muttered, as he frowned and shook his head.

"Hmmm... this is hard, I never knew naming something would be this troublesome....

I did not even think this much while naming Caleb and Mairon," he added with a quiet chuckle, as he scratched his chin while continuing to test possibilities in his mind.

For a while, none of the names he considered felt right, as some sounded too grandiose, others too hollow, and none seemed to carry the ruthless simplicity he felt the technique itself deserved.

Then suddenly, as though something in his instincts aligned with the answer before thought could interfere, a name surfaced in his mind so naturally that he almost laughed.

"The Boss’s Execution..." Leo muttered, as almost immediately a grin spread across his face in growing satisfaction.

The more he repeated it in his mind, the more it felt right, because although it was not the most extravagant name one could give a technique so grand, it sounded brutally simple, merciless, and unmistakably like him.

"The Boss’s Execution... yes, that is it," he said, nodding to himself as a faint predatory light entered his eyes, while the name already began feeling less like a thought and more like something destined.

It carried the air of judgment rather than combat, as though the move was not meant to fight an enemy but pronounce their death, which was exactly what he wanted the technique to represent.

"The Boss’s Execution is what I will name it," Leo declared softly, as he smiled with a dangerous satisfaction while imagining future enemies hearing that name spoken only moments before they died.

"The universe and all the Gods in it will come to fear it someday...."
