Chapter 650 - 643: Ya Ya and En’en

Chapter 650: Chapter 643: Ya Ya and En’en

2:00 PM, November 16, 1992

Sisi went into labor early because it was twins. She didn’t make it to full term, and at just over eight months, the babies were eager to come out.

Having experienced childbirth before, Sisi wasn’t too panicked. She only informed the family when the contractions started. Unfortunately, Tian Xinhua wasn’t around this time to personally welcome the two children.

Amidst another bout of pain that felt like having every bone in her body broken, Sisi, hoarse from shouting, finally delivered the two little ones.

Boy and girl twins!

Siblings!

The older sister weighed four pounds two ounces, the younger brother four pounds.

The sister had a loud and clear voice, full of vitality, while the brother was serene and lethargic, occasionally letting out a few squeaks.

These two siblings had definitely swapped personalities while in the womb, Sisi would think more than once as the children grew.

The arrival of the two little angels made everyone extremely happy, except for one person who expressed dissatisfaction, and that was Mr. Yun.

"Why do the two little ones look different?" protested Mr. Yun.

"Sir, there are many twins who don’t look alike. Especially boy and girl twins, they mostly don’t look the same," Niu Erniu patiently explained.

"If they don’t look alike, how can they be called twins? What nonsense."

Mr. Yun, knowledgeable in astronomy and geography, felt greatly humiliated—how could there be something in the world he didn’t know?

More upsetting to him was that two identical toys were gone.

How could they still play happily?

No one paid attention to the sulking Mr. Yun; for now, the two little treasures were the most important, and everyone gathered around the two little ones, cherishing them.

Although a bit disappointed the little ones didn’t look alike, Mr. Yun quickly adjusted and enthusiastically came up with names for the two little ones.

Filtered through his exceptionally clever mind, two resounding names were hot off the press.

The sister was named Tian Yajing, implying elegance and tranquility. But could a girl growing up in the Yun Mansion be elegant and tranquil?

With Huahua as a precedent, Sisi had already lost confidence in this.

The brother was named He Tianji because it had been agreed that if there was another son, he would take the He surname to inherit the He family business and continue the family line. Hence, this newly born little boy became the heir to the expansive He Family business empire.

The two little ones had a hearty appetite, initially born a bit wrinkled, but in just a few days, they had turned chubby and fair, not at all like premature babies.

Now the Yun Mansion had three little ones; the other being Kang Mianhua’s son, formally named Niu Jia’s Ruixiang, with a nickname irresponsibly given by Luo Datou, called Bian Dou.

"If the older brother is called Mao Dou, then the younger brother must be called Bian Dou," Luo Datou argued justifiably.

The siblings’ nicknames were given by Sisi; the sister was called Ya Ya because she loved to shout "ya ya", while the brother was named En’en because he always responded aloofly with "en’en", seemingly disdainful of speaking to others.

Not only did Ya Ya and En’en swap personalities, but even their appearances were swapped, perfectly epitomizing "daughters resemble their fathers, sons resemble their mothers."

Ya Ya looked exactly like Tian Xinhua, especially with those piercing eyes that were a spitting image, always carrying a sense of murder when looking at people.

Meanwhile, En’en completely inherited Sisi’s beauty, with rosy lips and pearly whites, a small child already hinting at future charm.

"Mama, what should we do? Ya Ya looks like a man, while En’en looks like a woman," Sisi said with a wry face.

Mu Xiulan rolled her eyes at her, "How does Ya Ya look like a man? She just looks like her dad. Xinhua isn’t ugly; he’s quite handsome. Our Ya Ya will definitely grow up to be a little beauty, isn’t that right?"

Ya Ya giggled in Mu Xiulan’s arms, waving her hands and feet excitedly.

"Besides, what’s wrong with a boy being pretty? Look how Ah Liu turned out—a very handsome young man," Mu Xiulan really liked her grandson’s looks, whether boy or girl, they’re pleasing to the eye if they’re pretty!

Thinking about how her son might grow up to be a Mo Liu-like little pretty boy, Sisi couldn’t help but shiver.

What a bizarre picture!

But Sisi was overthinking it. In the rugged yet loving environment of the Yun Mansion, even Zhao Feiyan would turn into Mu Guiying!

Time with children always passes quickly. No sooner had the two little ones been born than they were already running swiftly, rolling around on the ground like little balls.

"En’en, you troublemaker, you’re cheating! Eat my Foshan Shadowless Kick!"

A loud child’s voice came in from afar, and Sisi, just walking in from outside, was hit with a little floral cloth shoe, leaving a small footprint on her white clothes.

"Tian Ya Ya, get your butt over here," Sisi shouted, pulling her throat as she patted the footprint off her body.

This daughter was a troublemaker from birth. She used to be immensely grateful that Huahua wasn’t her daughter, but now she was envious of Shangguan having a daughter like Huahua.

Compared to hyperactive Ya Ya, Huahua was practically the paragon of virtue and intelligence!

Moreover, ever since having a younger brother, Huahua had matured considerably, becoming a good elder sister. Though her personality remained fiery and her methods rough, she was undoubtedly a good girl at home!

But her child, outwardly seeming gentle and obedient, instantly transformed into a tigress at home. Her favorite thing was bullying her brothers and sisters, and the only person who could control her was Sisi. Even Tian Xinhua couldn’t do anything about her.

Who told Ya Ya to be his favorite little girl!

"Mommy, you’re back from work! Was it tiring? Have some water." Ya Ya, trailing her shoes, diligently brought Sisi’s water cup, smiling sweetly.

"Mom, Tian Ya Ya has no shame, she lost the puzzle and refused to admit it, even kicking my foot," said En’en, with eyebrows like painted strokes, hobbling over while rubbing his rear.

Looking at these two, Sisi only felt her headache worsening. En’en, this little guy, wasn’t good either, always provoking Ya Ya. Then, when Ya Ya made a move, he’d put on a pitiful act to elicit sympathy. If Mr. Yun hadn’t seen through the little guy’s true nature, Sisi would still be in the dark!

"Both of you go stand in the horse stance—no dinner until you’ve stood properly for an hour," Sisi was too lazy to ask about the incident details anymore. It was nothing more than En’en winning the puzzle game, and Ya Ya, unconvinced, kicking out.

Ya Ya shrugged her little chin and huffed her way to the stance. En’en tried to act pitiful, but Sisi shot him a glare, "Hurry up, or I’ll extend it by another half hour."

Oh, mom’s getting harder to fool!

Feeling resigned, En’en sighed and chose to stop feigning a limp, quickly running to join his sister in the horse stance.

Sisi chuckled coldly; it was indeed another act. She almost felt soft-hearted again. Mr. Yun was right; this En’en was the craftiest of all the little ones, even more cunning than his brother Du Du!
