<What is your target, your end goal? (7)>

Everybody looked astonished.

“H, he destroyed Viscount Deshuran's Garden of Nightmares so easily……!”

Aurora, her subordinates, even the enemies… All of them could not hide their shock after seeing Choi Han instantly rip apart Viscount Deshuran's power.

Aurora and the Arbitrators were especially thrilled.

‘That-?!’

Aurora noticed the black yet transparent aura domain surrounding Choi Han's body.

‘That is not aura.’

It seemed closer to Dragon Fear.

But it was not that either.

Then what was it?

Aurora turned her head.

She could see that Cale and Raon were astonished as well.

‘Hmm?

I thought they had faith in Choi Han?’

She wondered why they looked so shocked.

– Human, human! I thought Choi Han’s acting skills had gotten better. Why did it return to his original totally terrible acting?

‘Exactly my thoughts!’

She had no idea that they were gasping at Choi Han’s acting skills.

Aurora asked about what she wanted to know.

"What is that power?”

It seemed weak yet firmer than anything else.

She did have a hint.

“Is it perhaps an ancient power?”

‘Oh.’

Cale was a bit amazed.

Ancient powers.

He was amazed that someone in the Demon World knew about them.

“No. That is not a power that is inherited.”

“Then-”

“It belongs only to Choi Han.”

It was a power that only those who created their own paths could possess.

“…It is a one of a kind power that only Sir Choi Han can possess?”

“Yes?”

“There is no other same presence, it is something only he has?”

“…I guess so?”

Cale peeked at Aurora at these continued questions and flinched.

‘What is up with her?’

Aurora’s pupils were shaking violently.

“Uhh, mm-”

Cale wondered why she was acting like this before figuring it out.

‘Ah!’

Viscount Deshuran.

His power was useless against Choi Han.

However, his illusion arts were probably a source of fear for the Arbitrators and many of the Demonic race.

‘This guy, as a devoted follower of the current Demon King, could use his illusions to do all sorts of terrible things.’

She was probably surprised to see Choi Han easily suppress someone like that.

However, this was a power created by Choi Han’s countless years of life.

‘Well, there’s no need to tell her all of that.’

Instead, Cale spoke nicely to his new subordinate, umm, helper, who would do all sorts of things in his place.

“I do have an ally other than Choi Han who has this power.”

“…There are more?”

‘Yeah. The boss of the Demon Cult, the Heavenly Demon.’

“Yes ma'am. And there are more people whom I believe will also gain their own presence like this, although it would not be the same as Choi Han's.”

Choi Han, the Heavenly Demon…

There was someone Cale believed would be the next to get this aura domain.

‘Clopeh's probably capable of doing it too, but…’

While he believed that completely lunatic bastard would end up creating his own aura domain…

It was obvious who would end up doing it first.

‘Miss Rosalyn.’

The Magic Tower.

And the mages who follow her and will end up as members of the Magic Tower.

Rosalyn probably believes that she has trained herself a lot, but subconsciously, she most likely pushed her own growth to the back in order to pay attention to those two things.

Of course, she herself probably won't notice it.

‘Because even I didn’t notice it.’

Rosalyn is definitely strong enough.

However, the experiences in Aipotu seemed to have stimulated Rosalyn quite a bit.

‘Her eyes-

Yeah, her sun-like eyes-

…They basically rolled over.’

He didn’t want to use such a descriptor for Miss Rosalyn, but…

Her eyes at that time were definitely crazy.

‘Mm… There’s Mary as well-’

The necromancer, Mary.

She was also a one of a kind who was already walking her own path.

Nameless 1. Mary was the one and only necromancer in that world.

Furthermore, she was someone who was strong enough to fight Choi Han.

Mary was someone who would definitely create her own aura domain with the right opportunity.

‘Mmm.’

Aura Domain.

What the hell was this thing?

The Heavenly Demon and Choi Han's aura domains were different.

Their traits and the shape of the powers were different as well.

If Choi Han’s is based on walking his own path without being shaken by anything…

‘The Heavenly Demon is a god for the Demon Cult.’

He was already a god, but…

His aura domain was what made him a true god while also allowing him to create a path forward for the Demon Cult.

After seeing the Heavenly Demon's aura domain in Aipotu, the Demon Cult showed truly blind worship.

‘Let’s stop thinking about these aura domains for now.’

It was not something to think deeply about right now.

However, he did say something else to Aurora.

Since he had more people like Choi Han among his allies and may get more just like them…

“It looks like I can be quite a bit of help for your fight against the current Demon King.”

‘So don’t worry about it and help us well too?’

Cale did his best to give her a friendly smile.

Aurora subconsciously responded with a serious look on her face.

“Didn't the members of the Divine race wipe out all ancient powers?”

“Excuse me?”

“Ah.”

Aurora smiled awkwardly and looked away.

“It’s nothing.”

Cale thought to himself.

‘It sure didn't sound like nothing.

I feel like I heard something quite serious just now.

I feel like I heard some important yet hidden secret of the world?’

He got chills down his back.

Cale responded out of reflex.

“Hahaha! Yes ma’am! It definitely was nothing!”

‘Yeah. Let’s just pretend like I didn't hear anything.’

“Umm-”

However, Aurora did not seem to understand Cale’s desperate desire to evade the issue and opened her mouth after a bit of hesitation.

“To be honest with you, this is something people in the human world would not know, but I know a secret of the Divine World-”

Cale did not want to hear it.

Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang-

An explosion echoed out right on cue.

Cale turned his gaze.

– Human, Choi Han is fighting the Devil of Flames!

A sword covered in black aura and a book covered in grey mana crashed into each other, creating that large explosion.

Boom. Boom. Boom!

– Human, the Demon King's Army is starting to move!

Some of the Demon King's Army, especially knights, started to enter into the broken Garden of Nightmares.

They were all riding horses as black as their armors. They looked quite vicious.

“Shit-!”

Aurora stopped saying what she had been saying and immediately tried to head toward Choi Han.

However, she could not take another step.

“……!”

It was not just her.

The Demon King's Army, especially the knights who had been heading toward Viscount Deshuran and Choi Han, also stopped.

‘What kind of-’

Aurora got chills down her back.

The cold sweat on her back made her feel as if her entire body had sunk into a lake.

A lake covered in thick ice all year…

Her body was descending into the bottom of such a lake.

‘My breath-’

She felt like she was suffocating.

“Oops.”

She heard a calm voice at that moment.

“I was feeling a bit rushed-”

Pat pat.

Aurora felt a hand pat her on the shoulder as Cale walked past her.

“Huuuff-”

She could breathe again, as if she was suddenly pulled out of the water.

She looked forward.

She could see Cale Henituse walking past her.

Oooooo– oooooo–

The air rumbled with his every step.

No, everything was shaking.

This invisible and intangible aura.

This aura flowing out of Cale Henituse made Aurora instantly feel as if everything she had was being taken away or dominated.

Boom!

Boom!

Every time he took a step toward the center of the village, some of the Demon King’s Army knelt down and curled up their bodies.

How was it that you breathed?

How should I hide?

Some of them didn’t dare to look at Cale while others were only looking at Cale.

– Hoo hoo. I am also getting stronger!

The Dominating Aura frivolously commented in an imposing voice.

– Whether it’s the Demon World or whatever! It's not like there are two ancient gods here together! This much is easy peasy! Kahahaha!

– Shut up, you damn bluffer.

– …….

The Sky Eating Water quieted his mind and Cale looked around the just as quiet surroundings.

Crackle-

He did continue to hear flames sweep over the village…

The smell of things burning was carried by the wind and tickled his nose…

But nobody could focus on those things right now.

This was especially true for the Demon King's Army that was feeling significant fear.

– The enemies are definitely feeling more fear than before.

The Super Rock calmly commented.

– If I completely acquire the Saint of the God of Chaos's power, then I should be able to truly instill instinctual fear into the enemies.

Cale started to walk.

Aurora watched him and started to think.

‘… Father-’

The subject of her loathing who no longer existed in this world…

The former Demon King.

And-

‘Zebelon.’

The current Demon King.

It made her think of the two of them.

Existences that had auras comparable to the gods and held equal position as the leader of the Divine World…

The leader of a world that, at times, even the gods feared and avoided…

‘How does a human-

Give off an aura like this?!’

Especially because-

‘I'm scared.’

This seemed more terrible than any of the terrible things in the Demon World-

‘No.

This aura felt like it held nothing and only made you feel fear.

How could she explain such a thing?

“You, sir, you-”

She heard a shaky voice.

Aurora raised her head.

Viscount Deshuran was looking at Cale with eyes full of chaos.

"Sir, who are you?”

The top of the Demon World. Viscount Deshuran had come to find yet another sacrifice at the order of the esteemed Demon King.

He was not surprised at the human who suddenly appeared.

He was not surprised by the group heading toward the village either.

He simply considered them to be obstacles wasting his time and delaying him from fulfilling the Demon King's orders.

However, he was surprised at the fact that the human who pointed his sword at him had a ‘peculiar aura.’

Then there was an even greater aura that could not be compared to this human’s.

A formless sense of domination instilled a sense of suffocating fear that Deshuran could not easily move.

He could barely open his mouth to ask.

Sir, who are you?

If others saw how respectful the Demon King’s crazy dog was being, they would all be significantly surprised.

Deshuran, who returned to his noble demeanor and spoke sincerely did not look like someone facing an enemy.

But it could not be helped.

Survival of the fittest.

The Demon World believed in following the strong.

Deshuran had given his life to the Demon King.

He had been mesmerized by the Demon King’s strength.

‘However-

How can this human in front of me give off an even more terrible sense of fear?

This completely empty fear…

This power that seemed to suppress and suffocate you without any goal, reason, or anything within the fear…’

His hands and feet were shaking.

He could fight if he wanted to do so.

The leader of the Sixth Regiment was not that weak.

However, he had to ask.

He needed to figure out the identity of this human who, with just his aura, made him think of the current Demon King, someone who was said to be comparable to a god.

This suffocating silence…

As nobody dared to open their mouths.

Cale and Deshuran observed each other.

The villagers, the Demon King’s Army, and the Arbitrators all quietly observed the leader of their respective sides.

Cale’s side had around ten people while the Demon King's Army had over two hundred.

There were significantly more villagers as well.

They all realized that this was an extremely important moment.

The decision of the respective leaders would change the direction of everything.

They waited for this conversation between the leaders.

“……!”

Deshuran then saw it.

“Pfft.”

Cale chuckled. He then opened his mouth.

“I’m Arm-”

‘I should play along with Choi Han’s story.’

Deshuran’s eyes opened wide while watching Cale’s extremely relaxed appearance.

“-!”

Cale then stopped talking.

Deshuran saw it.

Cale's dark brown eyes…

The reflection within it…

“!”

Inside this implicit silence…

Someone extended their hand toward Deshuran's back.

‘Ah.’

He had forgotten about this enemy for a moment because of this formidable aura.

Choi Han raised his hand.

Pow!

He smacked the back of Deshuran's head.

“Ugh!”

Deshuran could not hold back a groan at this ambush.

His eyes then opened wide after hearing what the person had to say.

“I guess expecting to knock him out with one smack was too much?”

Choi Han calmly commented before taking away the thing in Viscount Deshuran's hand.

Chhhhhhhhh-

Steam appeared for a moment and Choi Han’s hand started to burn, but Choi Han remained calm.

“I like the weight of this thing.”

Deshuran then saw the item that had been pulled out of his hand.

It was a book.

It was the book he always carried with him.

That book was burning Choi Han’s hand, but…

Choi Han didn't care.

He just-

Poooow!

Swung it.

Choi Han instantly smacked Deshuran, who was not able to think properly because of the earlier smack, one more time with the book.

Plop.

Viscount Deshuran fell to the ground.

Plop.

Choi Han let go of the book.

The thick book fell to the ground.

“…….”

Cale and Choi Han made eye contact.

“Here’s some medicine!”

Raon rushed toward Choi Han with a potion, but Choi Han just smiled innocently.

He then addressed Cale.

“I have suppressed him.”

‘Uhh, mm…’

Cale debated for a moment before answering.

"Good job!”

‘Yeah. Our Choi Han is the best!’

Cale gave him a thumbs up.

"That was the best!”

Raon smiled brightly and played along.

“That’s right! Smacking someone on the back of the head is always the best and most refreshing!”

Everybody blankly watched Cale, Choi Han, and Raon as Cale's aura continued to cover the Demon King’s Army and the village.

* * *

Tap. Tap.

Viscount Deshuran opened his eyes.

He then saw it again.

He saw Choi Han tapping his cheek.

“!”

Deshuran became shocked and tried to open his mouth but his body was completely bound.

“Mmph, mmph!”

Viscount Deshuran could not say anything.

Choi Han quietly stared at him before getting up and saying something.

“I leave it to you.”

“Yes. I will keep my eye on him.”

Mary answered in a mechanical voice.

Choi Han suddenly remembered how Mary had disappeared with Clopeh a few days ago. Furthermore, he thought about Mary and Clopeh’s first meeting, where Mary had placed dead mana bombs in Clopeh's body.

“…….”

Choi Han hesitated for a moment before walking out of the temporary cell.

Only Viscount Deshuran and Mary remained there.

“Cale-nim.”

Choi Han then walked over to Cale, who was sitting in the Village Chief’s house as if he was the Chief.

“…….”

Aurora was looking at the two of them with a blank gaze.

Translator's Comments

At least Choi Han's skills are not to be trifled with. Slamming him with the book is just chef's kiss.
