Chapter 743 Feelings
Chapter 743 Feelings
With a simple swing, Dilan cut down one Veilure after another. The Veilures around him were not even Demi Gods, yet, their strength was comparable to the Blood Orc Apostles.
If he were still as weak as before, handling the Veilures would have been a problem, yet, even without activating his True Divinity, Dilan could cut down dozens of Veilures at once.
Activating the Undying Divinity and the Destruction Divinity at the same time, Dilan could summon a powerful Destruction Immortality Aura with which it was possible to release powerful long-range attacks.
Destruction Immortality crescent blades were shot through space whenever he swung Oricalm through the surrounding area.
Oricalm, his one, and only Soul Weapon was still growing with him. The weapon had nearly reached the limit of its material's potential but that could be covered up with the use of his True Divinity.
Summoning the Destruction Divinity instead of merely activating its effect, silver liquid covered Oricalm. It enhanced the weapon's sharpness and made it more resilient to the influence of external means. At the same time, the Destruction Divinity provided a destructive effect on the weapon.
Whenever it was swung, a crescent-shaped blade weaved from manifested Power of Destruction was released.
Thus, two crescent-shaped attacks shot through the surrounding with every single attack.
Less than a day passed since he reached the Veil that had released a new wave of Veilures and he had already killed more than ten thousand Veilures.
There were more than a hundred True Gods around him, and Dilan could also sense a few Ancient True Gods situated a little bit further away from the Veils to make sure that none of the Veilures were able to escape.
He was the only real powerhouse that joined the battle directly instead of giving the True Gods the chance to understand how powerful Veilures were.
Dilan had to figure that out by himself as well. That, and the fact that he had just created his True Divinity was enough reason for him to join the battle. Now that he knew how strong the Veilures were, Dilan left the battlefield once again. He returned to Milarn by using the power of his Guardian of Milarn title.
Afterward, he traveled across the planet and entered another Gate that lead him to another corner of the Universe. He was informed that there was another outbreak of a Veil.
The outbreak brought forth a large batch of Veilures, including a handful of Veilures that were on par with the strength of Lesser Gods. Dilan joined the battle and obliterated everyone. He used the Flame of the Beginning Divinity at its strongest and burned every single Veilure in a range of more than five thousand kilometers to a crisp.
His allies weren't even burned. They felt only a light warmth shrouding them and a dazzling light forcing everyone to close their eyes before it was already over.
The outbreak was handled within seconds and Dilan disappeared once again. He had returned to Milarn, traveled through the Universe and he kept testing his powers while eliminating numerous Veilures in the blink of an eye.
Using his powers separated as if he was only in possession of a True Divinity created with a single extracted Essence allowed him to generate a much higher output of that singular Divinity. In certain situations, this would allow him to overpower his opponents when they expected his True Divinity to be an accumulation of four Essences.
On the other hand, the fused Divinity made out of two or more Divinities was something that allowed him to activate multiple Powers at the same time and to create new powers out of the merged Divinity that was created in response. Every switch could be used in certain situations, which Dilan learned to love experimenting with.
He may not be able to close the Veils with his powers but that was not necessary at the time being. If he was required to help somewhere, he would go over and eliminate every kind of foe. For now, that was still possible. As for the future, when masses of Veilures, that were on par with True Gods, would come over to the Universe, Dilan was not sure what would happen then. But he was sure that everything would be fine as long as everyone gave their utmost.
Dilan's daily schedule changed once again after he figured out how to control his strength properly. He lived a rather simple life focusing on himself, the people around him, and his True Divinity.
There were countless ways to train one's Divinity, but all Divinities of Ascenders had one thing in common; one had to extract more Essence from within the main components of the Divinity to strengthen and cultivate it. How that was done didn't really matter, which was also the reason that numerous theories and actually practices to accomplish this had been created.
In the end, one had to figure out the best way to cultivate one's Divinity in the fastest way. Some cultivated it in the heart of a burning star, others isolated themselves from others while others stayed close to the person that meant the most to them.
The latter was something Ariel Silvertale had to do. Her progress accelerated the closer she was to the person that meant the most to her, and the degree of acceleration was related to how important that person was to her.
The realization that she could progress far more than a hundred times faster when staying close to Dilan was something that made her realize just how important Dilan was to her. It had been a while since she had realized it, precisely not long after she had become a True God, but it took her a while to express herself.
Expressing her feelings was much easier after she did it once, and it was even better than her feelings were reciprocated. In the end, this increased the progress of her True Divinity even further.
The more Dilan meant to her, the faster she would become a True God with a combat prowess comparable to an Ancient True God. In the past, that was one of her future goals after becoming the Queen, but it was not the most important anymore.
Being by Dilan's side and spending time with him had become much more important!
