Chapter 3154: Tearing Into The Abode Of The Hidden Cave Sect

Lin Mu’s expression softened.

He placed a hand on Meng Bai’s shoulder, the weight steady but gentle. "I hear you, Meng Bai. You have my word. I will not throw myself carelessly into danger. But this is something I must do, something only we can do. You will wait here for us."

Meng Bai’s jaw tightened. "I understand."

The decision had already been made.

Meng Bai was talented, yes, and his future held boundless potential. But he was still not an immortal. The difference was too vast. Bringing him into the heart of the enemy’s den would be nothing short of throwing him into fire without protection.

Lin Mu turned, gesturing slightly. From his Sleepscape emerged Ashy, the small bird with dark feathers that glistened faintly like obsidian, her eyes sharp and intelligent. Alongside her appeared the twin serpents, Xiao Yin and Xiao Yang, their sleek forms coiled with latent energy.

"These three will stay with you," Lin Mu said firmly. "Ashy will keep watch from the skies. Her eyes are sharp, and she can cover a wide area with ease. The twins have keen senses for energy. If anything unusual stirs, they will notice it before anyone else. They will protect you."

Ashy tilted her head and let out a soft chirp, her feathers fluffing slightly as if in acknowledgment. The twin snakes flicked their tongues, circling around Meng Bai’s arms once before slithering up to rest comfortably near his shoulders, their loyalty clear.

Meng Bai looked at them, then back at Lin Mu, and gave a nod. "Then I will guard this place while you are gone. You have entrusted me with something important, and I will not let you down."

"Good," Lin Mu replied.

His gaze swept over the strike team once more. The weight of the coming battle pressed against the air, heavy but invigorating. The time was near.

The salty breeze of the ocean brushed against the shore, carrying with it a strange sense of anticipation.

The strike team had gathered in perfect formation, their auras concealed but their readiness unmistakable. Dozens of immortals stood silently, each prepared for what would come next, their eyes fixed on Lin Mu. The quiet hum of suppressed energy filled the air, the calm before the storm.

Lin Mu glanced at them, his expression calm yet determined.

His hand rested briefly on his chest, where he could feel the familiar pulse of the ring that bound him to power unlike anything most here could imagine. He raised his gaze toward the horizon, the endless expanse of the ocean stretching before him like a mirror of possibilities.

"Everyone is ready," he said at last, his voice steady but carrying the weight of command. "Then it is time to begin."

Without another word, Lin Mu’s figure rose from the sand.

His robes fluttered gently as he ascended, carried effortlessly upward until he hovered above the gathered force. He stood with his side to the sun, his figure outlined in light, facing the endless ocean.

For a brief moment, the sight itself inspired awe.

Then he moved.

’Come on old friend...’

The ring stirred, its mysterious strength resonating with his will.

At once, powerful spatial fluctuations spread outward from Lin Mu, rippling across the air like invisible waves crashing against unseen shores. The ground trembled faintly, and even the waves of the ocean seemed to falter for a moment, disturbed by the intensity of the force.

Gasps rose from several members of the strike team, especially the younger elders and disciples who had never witnessed such a feat.

They had been told the method of entry, of course. They knew that Lin Mu would be the one to open their path. Yet knowing and witnessing were two very different things.

To see someone rip open the fabric of space with nothing but their own might, no weapon, no formation, and no great artifact, was to see something few in the world could ever attempt.

"What... what power is this?" one whispered under their breath.

"Is he truly doing this without aid?" another asked, eyes wide.

Of course, only a handful knew the truth.

The ring was the true source of this overwhelming might, its power intertwined with Lin Mu’s mastery of space. Yet to those watching, it appeared as if Lin Mu himself had grasped the very essence of the void and bent it to his will.

To them, it was awe-inspiring beyond measure.

Lin Mu focused inward, his Spatial Perception reaching outward like a vast net. Months ago, he had extracted the coordinates of the Hidden Cave Sect from the key, memorizing them, embedding them within his mind.

Now, with precision, he locked onto that place across the veil of reality.

Once anchored, he raised his hand. His fingers glowed faintly with spatial energy, and then he jabbed them forward into the fabric of the world itself.

KACHA

The air cracked.

It was not sound, not truly, but something deeper, a sensation of reality fracturing. Even hearing it made one feel like something truly unnatural was happening.

Lines of distortion spread from the point of impact, jagged and sharp, like a mirror shattering under pressure. The turbulent aura of raw space poured outward, lashing against the area, though contained by Lin Mu’s control.

Gasps spread among the gathered crowd. Even seasoned immortals stared with disbelief.

He jabbed his fingers in deeper, sinking them into the void itself as if piercing through water. With a grunt of focus, Lin Mu spread his arms wide, prying apart the fracture with steady strength.

HUALA

The crack tore open into a widening rift, expanding inch by inch until it stabilized at a full five meters in width. Beyond it, the endless darkness of the Lesser Void stretched, with faint currents of chaotic spatial energy swirling like unseen tides.

Silence hung over the beach.

Other than a few elders and key individuals who already knew of Lin Mu’s Spatial mastery, the rest of the force was stunned. The whispers spread quickly among them.
