Caroline abruptly drew back her fist, and Han Jin’s palm again missed. The gold Three True Flame quietly burned in his hand, but it could not cause any damage.

Caroline’s body paused for a moment. Then, with a jump kick, she split the ball of flame in two and struck Han Jin squarely in his stomach. Han Jin again flew back, and somehow broke a tree as wide as a person before slamming back onto the ground, spraying mud and snow everywhere.

A pure white curtain of light suddenly rose, and Han Jin slowly climbed up from it. Though the blood he had spewed had dyed half of his body red, his eyes were still as clear as ever.

Caroline was not afraid of Han Jin’s Pure Light Charm at all and continued her advance step by step. Han Jin coldly stared at Caroline while simultaneously trying to figure out why Edwina hadn’t attacked yet? Maybe… because he had chosen the wrong target! “Haha… there’s another little guy up there.” Betty let out a crisp laugh.

Han Jin didn’t give his enemy any time to prepare, and Caroline didn’t give Han Jin any time to recover either. Her body suddenly shot into the sky in a long arch, landing toward Han Jin. No matter how twisted Caroline’s expression looked, her glide in the air still looked extremely elegant.

Han Jin and Edwina had both made a critical mistake. If she had been close enough to clearly observe the battle and hear Betty’s warning, she wouldn’t have made Betty her target. In reality, Han Jin and Edwina did have a chance, and that was if they had focused all of their power to kill Betty before she started using her talent. Unfortunately, they had missed the chance.
