Weakest Beast Tamer Gets All SSS Dragons

Chapter 1211 - Taming the Old World - Star

Chapter 1211: Chapter 1211 - Taming the Old World - Star

Ren was completely unaware of the approaching reinforcements.

He was entirely submerged in the battle.

But the exact second the terrifying energy shockwave washed over Sirius, something buried deep within the man answered the call.

Directly beside him, Liu doubled over in mid-air too. He clutched his chest, his eyes trying to roll back in his head. The microscopic, jagged fracture of corruption buried deep within their cores, the scar that absolutely no one had the power to permanently close, was reacting to the true aura of the purple dragon.

♢♢♢♢

While the other Tamers suffered the paralyzing backlash of the cosmic roar out of his sight, Ren was fighting his own internal war.

The catastrophic, exalted dragon energy violently amplifying the roar slammed into his system, rapidly accelerating the creeping alien energy. Thick, black veins of pure corruption aggressively spider-webbed across his chest and up his neck.

But he absolutely did not have the luxury of time to worry about his own failing biology.

His singular hyper focus was entirely consumed by looking for a way to counter the power spike within the corrupted beast. Following the roar, the Hydra violently surged with fresh, unholy energy, and the massive tectonic restraints Ren had welded to the earth audibly cracked.

Ren gritted his teeth and aggressively forced his runic control to process a vastly larger volume of ether. But with the mushroom dedicating almost one hundred percent of its cognitive bandwidth to flawlessly maintaining the delicate frequency resonance of the ancient cores, it couldn’t actively defend Ren’s pathways.

The consequence was instantaneous...

The sheer, unmitigated pressure of the ether caused his system to crystallize exponentially faster.

And as the jagged crystals began to forcefully crawl up his throat, Ren realized with dread that he lacked the raw output required to fully encase the beast before it shattered his restraints.

He analyzed the problem of the slow making of the cage, and a terrifying, desperate option presented itself.

It was the exact maneuver he had sworn himself never to execute again unless the end was absolutely inevitable.

Ren hurriedly inhaled the ambient corruption...

He aggressively sucked the thick, toxic purple ether that the beast’s roar had scattered across the courtyard directly into his system. He violently bypassed his natural filters, forcing the poison deep into his fractured core, and ruthlessly forcefully synthesized the corruption into usable pure energy.

The immediate, searing agony was blinding. For a fleeting, agonizing second, the temptation to just surrender to the mental exhaustion, to simply let go and let the poison claim him, was overwhelmingly seductive.

But he stubbornly crushed the whisper with pure will... And the suicidal gamble worked.

The synthesized corruption delivered the massive, explosive spike he desperately needed.

To mitigate the catastrophic pain, Ren forcefully pushed his fusion into an even deeper, vastly more feral state. His draconic fangs elongated further, and his vertical, reptilian slits burned with an unnatural, toxic jade fire, shifting the fundamental nature of the energy coursing through his veins.

But the massive power spike extracted a terrifying toll. It accelerated the crystallization process yet again.

The transparent crystals rapidly crawled from his neck, inching dangerously close to his jawline without him ever once lowering his gaze to acknowledge it.

He had to make a brutal, calculated sacrifice. Ren stared at his own forearms, currently radiating a blinding, volatile light.

Since the limbs were already catastrophically damaged by the crystallization, there was absolutely no tactical value in wasting precious mental bandwidth worrying about saving them. He decided to weaponize the damage. He ruthlessly diverted the maximum possible volume of excess, overflowing energy directly...

To those hands.

He deliberately sacrificed his extremities to actively prevent the fatal crystallization from breaching the vastly more vital organs near his core. He had to burn the excess energy faster than it could freeze his blood, so he pushed with everything he had.

The primordial energy tore through his arms like raw voltage surging through a frayed wire. Suddenly, Ren was hurling colossal blocks of hyper-compressed castle bedrock as if they were insignificant pebbles. He was effortlessly bending and weaving massive sheets of pseudo-adamantium with a terrifying, god-like fluidity that absolutely no mortal Tamer on the planet should have possessed.

And with those burning, crystallized hands, he began to slam the jaws of the trap shut with blinding, terrifying speed.

The five jagged fragments of adamantium he had previously been utilizing as crude anchors ceased to be mere spikes.

Ren mercilessly stretched the impossible alloy breaking the enemy Hydra’s meat apart, drawing the metal upward to forge five towering, monolithic pillars surrounding the thrashing beast. He anchored them perfectly in place using the channeled new demigod-like output. They stood like five unyielding points of a massive, runic star drawn across the courtyard floor.

Now, Moosh! Ren screamed in his mind.

Deep within his core, the exhausted hyper-focused mushroom triggered the activation sequence. It pushed the five ancient dragon cores and the five elemental crystals to their absolute maximum orbital velocity, and the primordial energy began to vibrate intensely.

Ren expelled them from his shadow space.

The cores and crystals materialized in the physical world, instantly responding to the command.

They began to orbit rapidly around Ren’s body, starting slow before rapidly accelerating into a blinding, synchronous blur. A terrifying, cosmic tension erupted between the five pairs, causing the very air in the courtyard to tremble and warp. Ren felt the frequency resonance crawl up his crystallized arms, and he felt Mooshito holding the volatile vibration together with the absolute, terrifying precision of a master watchmaker.

The corrupted beast felt it too.

The five colossal heads of the Hydra snapped upward simultaneously. The stolen, primordial power radiating from the elemental cores embedded in their chests began to sputter and crackle, their frequencies aggressively disrupted by the jamming array.

With a strong yet precise flick of his wrist, Ren hurled the five synchronized pairs, each an ancient core perfectly paired with its respective elemental crystal, directly downward.

He slammed each pair onto the apex of a towering adamantium pillar. The elemental crystal aggressively orbited the core, forcefully locking it into place and stabilizing the frequency broadcast.

Riding the apocalyptic wave of channeled energy, Ren rapidly wove thin, hyper-dense veins of adamantium across the colossal bedrock walls he had summoned, fusing the cage together.

And then, for the absolute, final, non-negotiable touch, Ren slammed a massive, impenetrable slab of stone and metal directly over the open entrance to the royal vaults at the base of the castle.

He had permanently sealed the objective.

The ultimate prize that the corruption had spent centuries plotting to secure was, in a single stroke, completely and utterly denied. It was permanently buried behind an almost impenetrable, monolithic wall of hyper-dense bedrock, Diamond-tier wood, and impossible, ancient metal.

The Hydra roared.

And it was not merely a roar of rage and frustration.

It was that terrifying, profoundly alien roar, the true, sovereign voice of the corruption itself, desperately attempting to overload Ren’s nervous system again. It was a catastrophic pulse of pure, unadulterated corrupted energy that echoed across the entire continent.

The shockwave tore across the shattered courtyard, roared through the burning city, screamed across the great bridge again, and this time, it carried vastly beyond the limits of the sister cities.

And once again, it struck Sirius and Liu. The Vanguard elites had momentarily paused their advance, gasping for breath and appearing to slowly recover from the initial shockwave. But this time, the psychic agony was exponentially more intense. Taro and Min rushed to Liu’s side, their faces pale with terror, while Luna jumped worriedly toward Sirius.

♢♢♢♢

Ren completely ignored the shockwave. He was entirely consumed, pushing his power to the absolute breaking point, dedicating every single microscopic drop of his concentration to permanently sealing the prison.

He ruthlessly forced his body to inhale more of the new airborne corruption carried by the second roar, aggressively synthesizing it into raw fuel. The jagged crystals rapidly crawled further up and spiderwebbed across his ears and head as he aggressively squeezed every last drop of capacity he possessed to complete the runic architecture. He knew, with terrifying mathematical certainty, that he was hovering dangerously, fatally close to the absolute limit of his system.

He did not care. The prison had to close right now, or it never would.
