I sat back down on the chair and crossed my legs to face Kaito, who was visibly less amused than he was a moment ago.
"So... I suppose we can start with what plan you have?"
He scowled, "Not so fast. I need to know if the creature is with you or not."
I made a motion with my fingers, indicating he was still missing something if he wanted to talk about that.
He scowled but did not complain as he picked up one of the Credit Chips that he had placed in front of me earlier to stick it back into his personal terminal before pulling it back out again.
I wordlessly picked it up to plug it into my Codex, watching my Credits go up by a hundred million before pulling it out to nod at him.
"Yes, I do have the creature on board my ship."
Kaito let out a breath, "I see... I assume you won’t tell me how you managed to hide that from the investigators and I won’t ask either... I’ll just tell you my plan to screw that bitch."
He motioned towards one of the secretary girls and she tapped on her personal terminal to project a screen in front of her.
The screen once again showed that woman that Kaito was trying to sabotage and the CEO gestured at the screen.
"As I said, this bitch here has set you up to take the blame for you to unleash that creature on the station and use that to get rid of me by making my company seem incompetent. So it would be in our best interests if we were to work together to deal with her. That way, you don’t get framed for a crime you didn’t commit and you’ll also get paid."
I frowned, "Yes, I remember all that. What I want to know now is what you intend for me to do that would help you do that?"
The screen changed to show some kind of security compound.
"That is the one of the outposts that the bitch has set up to house her business. Weapons, equipment, personnel, everything is all stored there with the best security she can set up. I want you to release that creature in there so it looks like the creature broke itself out from their compound and everyone will believe that they are the ones who brought that creature in and they will completely lose their standing in this station."
I raised an eyebrow, "You want me... To sneak that creature inside there somehow? Do you even know how big that creature is?"
"That’s why I’m letting you figure that out. It doesn’t matter how you do it, but just make it happen. If you succeed, you’ll get paid. If you don’t... Well... If you don’t succeed, let’s just say that you will be publicly named as my enemy and a price will be put on your head."
Hey, it’s not like I don’t want to help you but you’re not making it easy for me either... How the fuck was I supposed to sneak a car sized turtle that would happily bite my face off if I got too close to it?
I frowned, "You really didn’t have a plan on how to deal with this?"
He pointed a finger at me, "My original plan was to intercept the smuggler and expose them for smuggling the creature and get their trade logs to use as evidence to incriminate her. Obviously that plan has gone out the window because of you so this is the next best plan I could come up with right now. If you have a better idea, I’m all ears."
I turned back towards the screen, "Do you have the map or plans of this place that I can look at?"
The secretary manipulated the screen to float towards the table, changing it into a map before displaying a three dimensional projection of the location.
"We’ve mapped out the area ourselves as accurately as we could but this information is only derived from external scanners and nothing internal. If it helps you, please make use of it."
I inspected the location critically, looking around it as I tried to find anything useful.
The place looked like some kind of military base with four walls surrounding it a large compound with several different buildings within said compound.
At the very centre was a tall tower which I assume was the main base of operations for this location in particular for this company.
Just by looking at the projection... It seems like the place is quite heavily fortified and there was only one entrance and exit that allowed people to move in and out of the compound.
I’m looking at guard towers, what appeared to be laser fences and, from the picture projection, a lot of guards stationed all around the perimeter.
If this was just a normal Mercenary and not someone who has access to three Psionics, one Sage, one former special forces soldier and former Pirate Lord, one engineer that can make almost any machine, and one eldritch entity... I don’t know how they might be able to do this without getting caught.
I looked back up at him, "Alright... So I guess your main goal is to make sure that woman is implicated in some disaster to the point that she loses the contract and you are automatically granted the security contract to this Pleasure Station, correct?"
He nodded, "That’s right."
"I’ll have a chat with my crew and we’ll see if we can figure something out. So how much are you willing to pay for this?"
"As you said. Three hundred million Credits, as we had agreed on."
Honestly, I would have asked for more at this point but I need to find out more information first before I get too greedy.
"Fine... I’ll see if I can get more information on this job and if required, I’ll let you know if the price changes."
"No, you agree to this price or not at all. There will be no more negotiations after you step out of this place and this conversation never happened. Understand?"
Guess I’ll just have to take what I can get.
"Fine. I only came here to get the compensation from you regarding the false arrest. What I decide to do to the creature and their company is my decision and you end up donating a generous sum of three hundred million Credits as an investment to my Mercenary Company. Happy?"
"Very. I will send you whatever information we have on them. Now get out of my sight."
I stood up and two of those secretary girls immediately came to my sides to start escorting me out towards the elevator.
I didn’t try to fight them and just left the guy’s office as he proceeded to pull the secretary who almost lopped her own head off into his lap, letting her straddle him.
I just managed to catch a peek of her pulling up her skirt to expose the face she wore nothing underneath before she sat back down on his lap, her head throwing back in pleasure before the elevator door closed.
Honestly, I wasn’t even that surprised so I didn’t make a fuss about it.
After all... I did witness one time where the person I was talking to got their bodyguard to just start sucking him off in the middle of our conversation...
The two women escorted me to the bottom floor where I was roughly shoved out of the building before the doors slammed shut behind me.
How rude...
I looked around, seeing that I didn’t get to see how this place looked when I first arrived since I had a bag over my head.
Unlike the other Pleasure Station that I had been to, this place seemed to be designed to be a tropical resort instead.
People around were mostly dressed in swimming attire as there were bodies of water located all around us.
Instead of walking along the road, people could just jump into a lazy river that flowed alongside the path as well to get to where they wanted to go.
There were water fountains and even water slides as well, making it look like a giant waterpark.
They even had floating bars and casinos as well, with the guests floating on the water in front of those establishments.
The only thing that broke that immersion were the various commercial and residential buildings that dotted around the place. Still... It doesn’t seem like anyone cared about that as they just went about their day here.
Not gonna lie... I kind of want to take a dip in that with my girls too.
"Huh... You’re done?" A voice came from the side.
I turned and realised it was the police officer from before, the guy standing near the entrance of the building with his arms crossed.
He waited for me huh?
"Come on. I’ll escort you back to your ship. You couldn’t have remembered the way with that bag over your head after all."
Oh wow, isn’t he nice?
Hmm... I was going to say I was surprised to find someone that nice here then I remembered this was the Inner Colonies.
