Wizard: Stronger through Marriage

Chapter 1313 - 612: Furnace Fission

Chapter 1313: Chapter 612: Furnace Fission

He drew in a deep breath and stretched both hands toward the Chaos Core Furnace at the center of the altar.

A massive arcane apparatus inlaid with ancient Runes, encircling a vortex of searing blue-gold Flame.

Within its core lay a power as unfathomable as the mysteries of the Cosmos, the key nexus linking all superpower springs and the Order Law.

"Now... let it begin." His voice was low, yet it resounded like thunder, shaking the hearts of all present.

He slowly placed the three Crystals into the heart of the Flame vortex, and in an instant, a radiance both blazing and serene burst forth.

Within the Chaos Core Furnace the Flame suddenly surged and spread, strands of gold and blue light weaving into a net that gradually drew in and fused the three conflicting Energies.

Yet this process of fusion proved far more arduous and perilous than anyone had foreseen.

Space itself began to warp subtly, and the unstable forces that had been suppressed snapped free like raging beasts released from their cages.

Outside the Flame vortex, gust after gust of biting wind howled from the rifts, like long-hidden predators in the night unleashing their roars.

Suddenly, overhead came an ear-splitting crash that tore through the firmament; a rift in time and space ripped open the boundary of the sky at terrifying speed, and that Dark Abyss boiled like a bottomless, savage tide. From the fissure surged several enormous Demons, twisted in form and exuding a stench of corrosive rot.

These creatures were clad in black Scale Armor, their eyes blood-red like smoldering embers. As they prowled through the void, they raised waves of corrosive motes that made the surrounding space shatter and fall like fragments of broken glass.

"Enemy attack!" Cynthia reacted swiftly. Her cold gaze cut the air like a blade as She raised the edge of her Ice Sword; an invisible torrent of Frost instantly spread outward, freezing the time-space rift solid into a thick barrier of ice.

"We cannot let them break through here!" Her voice rang out, hard as tempered steel, cold surging from her entire body, like a winter storm of the Northern Territory made manifest as a Guardian.

The members of the Witch Rider Corps swiftly formed ranks around the altar, each unleashing their specialties: Lucia gathered stellar arcane power, weaving dense nets of Magic from silver-blue starlight;

Liya guided the Life Rune to awaken the Power of Earth, granting a continuous source of strength to the Defense;

Annie’s cold smile curled across her face as She moved along the edges of Shadow, casting Soul-devouring Spells that ceaselessly eroded the enemy’s will and disrupted their rhythm of attack;

Hill swung his blade to cut down any approaching beast-shapes, carving out a battleground with lightning sword-flare, winning precious moments for his companions.

At the same time, the distant guards used arrows and thrown weapons to help stem the enemy assault; each whistling shaft carried faint Magic trajectories, lending their offensive greater piercing menace.

Yet the enemy’s numbers were vast and their ferocity boundless. They exploited the residual turbulence of the time-space rift to move with great speed, launching savage assaults from every direction; some lurked in the Shadow, waiting to strike from ambush, driving the pressure on the Defense line to soar exponentially.

And David held the center. His features remained unshaken, as he poured the new Holy Light Flame through every meridian in his body, while extending his left arm to continuously channel the Divinity of Redemption, striving to stabilize the fusion of the three hearts—never having foreseen how brutal the backlash from the Heart of Shadow would be.

Each infusion made the muscles of his left arm shrivel sharply, bones laid bare like withered wood turned to bone, yet he clenched his teeth and endured in silence, refusing to let the pain sway his steeled resolve!

"I cannot falter, no matter the cost!" he muttered through gritted teeth, his entire being erupting in an unprecedented surge of Holy Light Flame Energy Waves, standing in stark opposition to the raging darkness beyond.

His gaze burned as he fixed on the battlefield. "All members of the Witch Rider Corps! Hold this place to the death, march forward without fear! This ritual concerns the survival of all races—we must not fail!"

Time seemed both to halt and to race past in an instant; the Chaos Furnace continued to swallow and temper the three alien forces, while the Guardians, with blood and will, raised an unbreakable barrier against the layered assaults of Abyss Demons.

For a time, the clash of battle and the thunder of exploding Magic shook the skies above the forest, casting this eternal forbidden land into the very heart of an epic trial of life and death!

A heavy, enigmatic aura suffused the altar. The air was thick with the scent of scorched leaves and the faint fragrance lingering after Holy Light Flame burned; all was solemn and austere, yet riddled with peril.

Just as they strove with all their might to safeguard the critical moment of the fusion rite, a dim vortex suddenly surged within the Heart of Light.

That vortex was deep and bottomless as carved Obsidian, yet radiated a tempting, searing brilliance.

At its center, a familiar yet twisted, grotesque human face surfaced.

The Pope’s lingering Soul, once master of the authority of Holy Light, now a shard of Soul sealed here for his mad descent into corruption.

The remnant’s eyes burned with crimson Flame, and within that Flame writhed endless wrath and Curse.

He slowly parted his lips, his voice like a chill storm howling through desolate ruins and Abyssal depths: "You think that by destroying my flesh, you can end me?

Wrong! With this Holy Light Flame I shall purge all blasphemers and hurl this world anew into the fires of divine punishment!"

Before his words had faded, he unleashed a sky-shaking roar. A vast wave of golden Flame ripples burst from the depths of the Heart of Light, sweeping toward the Chaos Furnace like a gale-born storm.

This force, sacred yet brutally scorching, bore a venomous kind of purification, ceaselessly eroding the surrounding space. The Rune Array upon the altar began to crack, and clouds of burning dust thickened the air.

"Stop him, now!" Lucia cried out, her hands streaking through the air Runes as she hastily invoked arcane Spells to reinforce the defensive barrier.

But even with her formidable Magic, she felt the strain push past all limits, her power beginning to slip out of balance under the crushing pressure.
