Wizard: Stronger through Marriage

Chapter 1318 - 614: Faith Hongqiao_2

Chapter 1318: Chapter 614: Faith Hongqiao_2

It slowly lifted its head, exhaling a thick, twisted surge of Energy—an ominous portent born of devouring the residual power of the three hearts and attempting to evolve into the Dragon God.

David’s brows knitted tight; he felt the lingering resonance of the Chaos Core fused with the three-heart Crystal within him being gradually drawn away and dispersed—that was a warning cry of his life’s source being consumed by the Giant Dragon’s desire.

He clenched his fists, the Runes all over his body flaring at once with dazzling emerald radiance; a vast aura of Law surged out of him, crashing against the surrounding space like a tidal flood.

"I must not let it evolve, or this newborn divinity will be wasted!" he growled hoarsely, while Mana in his hand gathered into a heavy yet nimble force, dim as a star-cloud.

He strode forward, each step crushing dry branches and broken leaves on the Earth, as though condensing into a tangible embodiment of the most resolute, unyielding power between heaven and earth.

"Law-forbidding Curse—Return of All Things!" he declared with iron resolve. This was a Limit Forbidden Technique, using his newborn divinity as source, drawing upon the primal rules of heaven and earth, to reverse all rampaging evil back to its starting point and erase its very possibility of existence from the root.

Before his words had faded, his entire being seemed to merge with the prehistoric grandeur of the Cosmos, vast and resplendent; a large Rune Array woven from star-cloud dark-gold and emerald radiance burst open beneath his feet.

The Giant Dragon suddenly roared in fury, that savage, sky-shaking sound echoing through the mountains and forests, its enormous Scale Armor quivering violently as if struck by thunder.

Under the shroud of the Law-forbidding ripples, its flesh began to reverse through reincarnation, shrinking from a mature dragon-form back into a juvenile shape.

Tender green scales replaced the sharp Armor, its massive frame reduced to a small, nimble proportion, each breath filled with both childishness and unrest yet to be dispelled.

This sudden counterstrike left all onlookers holding their breath; countless members of the Witch Rider Corps watched the scene with surging hearts and heavy concern.

"The Giant Dragon has been regressed into growth—this proves the newborn divinity’s power, but also exposes its unstable weakness." Lucia anxiously regulated the protective barrier.

Her silver-white Magic Staff swept lightly, weaving complex patterns in the void to reinforce spatial stability. "The Chaos Core has yet to fully stabilize; it needs more faith and strength to support it, or it will eventually collapse."

Flames of steadfast resolve flashed in Hill’s eyes. "Brother, you’ve opened a new era beyond imagination, but this path is destined to be fraught with trial and Sacrifice.

We will not leave you behind!"

Cynthia’s sword-tip trembled slightly as she calmly assessed the situation. "To Guard belief is not merely battle, but a long, drawn-out contest." Her voice rang firm and sonorous. "We must raise a sturdier front line with our flesh and blood, to hold up a bulwark for you!"

Deep within the Chaos Core, those three heart Crystals still shivered and beat, yet already showed signs of exhaustion, like life-pulses tormented by extreme pressure.

David closed his eyes to feel every rhythm within; he knew this was the price that had to be paid—a harsh trial he must endure to truly become the Lord of All Races.

"The Law-forbidding Curse will continue restraining the Giant Dragon’s evolution, but it is a heavy drain on me as well." He spoke truth between gasps. "My divinity has yet to fully mature; I need more faith from the various races converging together to completely anchor the foundation."

In the distance, the Beastmen army howled anew, hurling themselves ever more madly against the front line, yet never managing to break through the Witch Rider Corps’ tight formation.

Their faces were twisted, muscles bulging; what they now fought against was no longer merely mighty Warriors, but a new "god" forged personally by the rules of the Cosmos!

Annie moved along the edge of the shadows, a sly smile at her lips, constantly casting mind-disrupting Spells that plunged the enemy host into confusion and bewilderment, winning precious time for the main forces.

"Time is our greatest weapon," she whispered. "If we endure this moment, the dawn of victory will rise."

Liya tapped the tip of her staff against the Rune chains, constantly repairing losses in the Defense system, while channeling life Element into her comrades’ bodies so each remained in peak condition for the brutal trial ahead.

Meanwhile Lucia continuously strengthened the Shield with arcane starlight, making the overall front line glow brilliantly, like a lighthouse watching over the first light of dawn amid the encroaching darkness.

David opened his eyes; the Chaos redemption Flame emanating from him burned ever more scorching and pure.

He raised his fist to the sky and shouted loudly, "This pain is the burden I must bear for the future of all races! No matter the cost, I shall Guard all living beings!"

Wind swept the forest, branches and leaves wailing in its howl; the Earth trembled, relaying a melody where creation and destruction intertwined and entangled.

From the depths of the forest came faint Beastmen howls and Elf chanting; the heavy clanging of Dwarf smiths hammering stone echoed with distant human Mages intoning prayers, weaving into a grand and solemn symphony.

The Heroic Spirits of all races converged here, their gazes unwavering, hands gripping the sacred symbols of their peoples, waiting for the impending sacred inheritance.

David slowly closed his eyes as the Chaos redemption Flame within him merged and converged with the starlit brilliance of Law.

He gently opened his palm; a fragment of pure Divinity, condensed from pristine Energy, spun within his grasp—this was not only part of his power, but also the embodied vessel of his will and faith.

His gaze swept over the totems around him, each steeped in the strong traits of its race and engraved with historic Bloodline Marks.

The first to enter his sight was the Beastman Tribe’s gigantic war axe totem.

Rugged and solid, it was carved all over with complex Runes, like an ancient battle song etched upon its iron edge.

David extended his right hand, slowly infusing the fragment of Divinity into it.

In an instant, the war axe flared with blue-white, mixed redemption Flames; those Flames danced and burned as if life had been poured into them, illuminating the Beastmen’s grave, power-filled faces.

The Runes within the Flame gradually awoke, shedding a soft, lustrous glow in the air, Guarding the entire tribe like a Protective Talisman.

Next, he shifted his gaze to the Elf Mother Tree, that tree coiled around the forest’s heart, its blossoming crown reaching high into the clouds; its roots delved deep, and its trunk was laden with Chaos fruits of strange form, shining with eerie blue-green light.

David once more cast another fragment of Divinity into the core of the fruits; the fruits quivered slightly from time to time, releasing gentle, intensely rhythmic Energy Waves, as though responding to an ancient summons.

This force swiftly coursed through the entire Mother Tree, artfully fusing the rhythm of life with the Laws of the Cosmos, causing innumerable leaves to emit a faint golden-green gleam, bestowing a newborn blessing upon the whole Eternal Forest.

The Witch Rider Corps and the faithful of all races gathered around, their knees lightly touching the ground as they bowed in the most devout posture to pray.

Some pressed their hands together with eyes closed; some raised both hands to the heavens; and children chanted ancient hymns with tender voices.

This fervent devotion transformed into countless golden rivulets, converging in the air into shining ribbons. From the crests upon their chests and the points of light flickering from their brows to their temples, they surged all the way toward the rising core of the great Gate: the portal to the Newborn Divine Kingdom.

Alia stood at the edge of the altar, robed in blood-red, her eyes reflecting searing, crimson Flames.

Threads of Soul Energy flowed from her fingertips as she murmured a Forbidden Technique Spell, her voice like a nocturnal dirge, spreading softly through the stillness.

As her Spell echoed, a great bridge of seven-colored phantoms, half-transparent and wondrous as a rainbow, slowly emerged between heaven and Earth; this was the "faith Hongqiao."

Linking the tribal totems and the corridor of final ending, it was the crucial hub that hastened the gathering of believers’ thoughts and transformed them into tangible Energy.

Soft golden ripples flowed along the Hongqiao, constantly absorbing the faith-eddies born of the Sacrifice-givers’ devout emotions, then swiftly conveying them into the depths of the Chaos Core, injecting inexhaustible vitality into the still-unstable newborn divinity.

When the wind blew, the rainbow bridge rang with faint chimes, like celestial music washing the Mind of all present, ceaselessly strengthening the invisible bond between them.

"Alia, you are truly irreplaceable!" Lucia’s face blossomed with a gentle smile as she danced the tip of her staff lightly through the Defense Array; every touch made the spell-web more resilient.

"With you guiding this Hongqiao, we can swiftly rally the faith of the entire race and forge an unbreakable fortress together."
