Wizard: Stronger through Marriage

Chapter 1335 - 623: Purging the Conspiracy

Chapter 1335: Chapter 623: Purging the Conspiracy

Many young soldiers couldn’t help but show excited smiles, and some clenched their fists silently, filled with hope for the future!

Outside the council hall, high walls stood tall encircling the camp, with the lingering scent of smoke still present, though the chirping of birds and the fragrance of flowers had quietly spread across the branches and treetops.

In the distance atop the forest canopy, a group of elven bards gently plucked their strings, singing praises to celebrate the dawning of a new era;

Dwarven craftsmen were busy crafting more advanced equipment;

While on the human-led new military training ground, the sound of horns echoed long and loud, as they sculpted steel with sweat and built iron fortresses with flesh and blood!

However, just as all seemed to prosper, a shadowy figure quietly emerged in the dark corner of the hall.

He, tall and hidden within the shadows, revealed only sharp eyes flashing with ghostly blue cold light.

This was the mastermind lurking within the rifts of various divine systems, and he curled his lips into a cold smile:

"Heh... Do you mortals really think this will stabilize the world?

The so-called ’Chaos Imprints’, the so-called ’Voting System’, are merely small bait in my grand chessboard arrangement...

When the time truly matures, I shall have you turn against one another and seize control of the apocalypse myself..."

His voice was low and icy, yet it echoed in the spacious area akin to a venomous snake, sending shivers down one’s spine.

And behind him, the spatial array burned increasingly hotter, countless forbidden runes leaping and surging, resonating with those concealed mysterious powers...

Liliana stood beside the towering crystal wall, draped in a Silver Moon robe, her hair cascading like a waterfall.

Moonlight bathed her pale and delicate face, making her deep blue eyes appear as profound as the ocean.

At this moment, her brow was furrowed deeply, her expression extremely grave.

She was gazing down at the Soul Furnace at her feet, a massive purgatory device woven from ancient runes and mysterious energy.

At the center of the furnace, blue flames burned, devouring all soul impurities while emitting a haunting yet pure and noble light.

"Faith... has actually been corrupted." Liliana murmured softly, extending her slender fingers to touch the surface of the furnace, activating the intense runes, as the blue flames grew fiercer,

"Those newborn followers have been infiltrated by ’Shadow Worm Eggs’, hiding within their souls, eroding the foundation of the entire Divine Kingdom like a malignant tumor."

Her words struck everyone’s hearts like a heavy hammer; in the distant tent, whether human warriors, elf mages, or dwarf guards, all furrowed their brows, lost in thought and concern.

The newborn faith system had just been established, its power still fragile, now facing such a fatal threat, undoubtedly stirring tremendous waves within everyone’s hearts.

"The purification program must be initiated immediately!" Liliana decided swiftly, with her figure lightly rising, merging quickly with the rune coordinates, as the blue symbols burst forth, surging like tides, gradually engulfing the source of the pollution.

But as the purification continued, a harsh reality gradually became apparent: the growth rate of the Divine Kingdom abruptly slowed, and multiple sacred realms weakened.

The life force nurtured by the powerful divine format flames was forcibly suppressed, posing unprecedented challenges to the entire new order.

David stood before the observation platform with a frown, his body ablaze in golden crimson flames, yet unable to conceal the heavy burden within his heart at that moment.

He gazed intently at the flowing data ripples and void images, as numbers leapt and shifted continuously, with thousands among the thirty thousand newborn followers marked as abnormal existences, and these ’abnormalities’ precisely were hosts of the "Shadow Worm Eggs".

He said in a deep voice, "This cannot be a coincidence... There must be an even darker and complex conspiracy quietly unfolding behind all this."

Beside the command platform, a young female mage handed over the latest tracking and positioning data, which was a report on the location of the fragments of the God of Conspiracy.

"Master, we’ve traced the source. His residual fragments are hosted on a small plane called the ’Trading Star’. There, infiltrating all realms’ mental spaces through the manipulation of the trading network, serves as a key point for the spread of ’Fate Manipulation’ power."

David squinted his eyes, his violet eyes piercing the void like a sharp sword, "Trading Star? That plane should have long been sealed off and severed from contact, so why can it still harbor such a malicious presence?"

The assistant explained in a low voice, "Due to its unique spatial structure and complex multilayered material circulation system, cleverly utilized by the God of Conspiracy as a concealed sanctuary.

Through fragment consciousness, he manipulates covert forces to continuously erode all realms’ mental defenses, while twisting temporal laws via ’Fate Manipulation Seeds’, making tracking nearly impossible."

David clenched his fists, red patterns on his halberd flaring with rage, as he moved towards the glass projection screen, tracing the connected and staggered data nodes with his fingers, "We cannot sit idly by; this means we must personally penetrate that plane and bring bloody combat to their doorstep!"

The air in the tent grew heavy, with determination written on every exhausted face.

Hill beside him grasped the sword handle, his fighting spirit erupting, "As long as you give the order, our Witch Rider Corps will strike at any moment, sacrificing to secure victory!"

Meanwhile, Annie revealed a resolute glow in her eyes; she gazed at the distant night sky full of stars, whispering to herself, "Perhaps, this is the true beginning of our test."

Her voice carried a calm composure, with an undertone of unyielding determination.

Meanwhile, at the center of the shadowy realm, a human silhouette formed from mysterious black mist began to emerge, as it shrieked fiercely, echoing throughout the void, this being the mastermind reassembling power through residual consciousness:
