Wizard: Stronger through Marriage

Chapter 1384: Observer_2

Chapter 1384: Observer_2

Amidst the wind and snow, he whispered softly, “Chaos… burn.”

A surge of scorching, crimson-gold energy burst from his palm, a Flame woven of Order and Chaos, blazing like a stellar explosion, yet bearing endless purifying power.

The flame surged and spread around the dagger, perfectly merging with the Shadow Aurora power that Sofia had only recently recovered.

The crimson-gold sacred runes on his body surface burned with a more brilliant and dazzling radiance, and for a moment, the Time Space seemed distorted by the hot aura.

But that invisible shackle still entangled every inch of his skin, making him feel waves of tearing pain, yet it didn’t waver his resolve.

“For Order, for the future of the multiverse…” David gritted his teeth and melded himself into the blazing storm.

This Energy Ball, ignited by Chaos Fire and possessing the dual attributes of destruction and rebirth, rapidly expanded, blooming like a red lotus and enveloping the corruption spores.

Accompanied by an overwhelming, resonant roar as if in harmony with heaven and earth, the scorching tide surged toward the core of the spore.

The corrupt malevolence roared and shattered the heavens and the earth, countless tentacles frantically thrashing, only to be shattered and melted into ashes under the fiery refining.

The furnace-like blaze scorched the black-purple dragon scales, cracking and peeling them; layer upon layer of fallen star energies were reconstructed into pure Order Rhythm.

Gusts stirred up dust to fly, and the Earth seemed to tremble from this destructive purifying power, yet the Order Decrees within the magical airflow gradually stabilized, suppressing the long-spread corrupted miasma, restoring the edges of the battlefield to clarity and tranquility.

This is destruction, but also rebirth.

“Commander!” Sofia swiftly flew to David’s side, her face showing awe, “Your Chaos Fire… can actually convert and purify such dense corrosion…”

“This is our gamble.” David muttered, “To ignite the purest rebirth with the darkest depths of the Abyss.”

At the same time, after the chaotic burning, he keenly perceived a faint pulse emerging from the collapse within the spore.

It was a fragment emitting a cold black hue and containing complex rune remnants — according to ancient texts, it was the last remnant of the “Dark God” left in the world!

David’s eyes narrowed slightly, carefully storing it within his phase dagger.

This fragment revealed endless secrets, directing towards not only this layer of the Abyss.

But also a hidden passage leading to a deeper, more unknown, more dangerous realm…

Hilvia staggered to stand, her face pale yet her gaze firm:

“The Priest Corps have done their utmost to continue stabilizing and expanding the ‘Root Prison’; as long as the seal doesn’t collapse, we can stop the further spread of corruption.”

Reina and Sofia followed closely, looking at the distant, still writhing but significantly weakened marks of terrestrial mutation.

“Temporarily quelled, but the other side definitely won’t let this rest.” Reina analyzed calmly, “We need to reorganize our forces for a possible new battle.”

Cynthia still sat in the command center, frowning before the holographic screen.

“The abnormal entries of the ‘Chaos Scripture’ are temporarily suppressed, but the laws of the entire multiverse remain in a state of high disorder, this instability could trigger a wider ripple effect.”

She waved to access more cross-world monitoring data, “We must quickly repair the damaged protective grids and strengthen monitoring of unknown mutation nodes!”

As time passed, the outskirts of New Rainbow Bridge City finally ushered in a brief period of tranquility.

But beneath the gray sky, something ancient and cold among the vast galaxies seemed to be quietly observing all this.

The Guardians have yet to realize that farther within the Abyss, a more sinister and terrifying goliath, hidden at the edge of the Cosmos, is quietly awakening to devour all will…

David stood atop the highest platform of the command center, his gaze piercing through layers of Mist, looking at the distant New Rainbow Bridge City, still standing firm after the baptism of war.

He gripped the phase dagger tightly, its blade infused with Order and Chaos Power, flickering with a ghostly blue glow in the dawn.

Although the Divine Power within him had yet to fully recover, his resolve was as strong as ever.

“Law Star Core…” he murmured, the name at this moment pressed like a heavy shackle on the hearts of all the Guardians.

Simultaneously, thousands of miles away from New Rainbow Bridge City, within an ancient magic tower, Wizard Alliance representative Elvin stood before a holographic projection.

The projection displayed the giant Star Core, located at the Divine Kingdom Core, revered as the “Source of Law,” a huge crystal radiating endless energy and Order Rhythm.

However, this once stable and powerfully righteous rhythmic “Law Star Core” now exhibited unprecedented irregular pulsations.

The sparkling crystalline surface shimmered with unusual dark red light patterns, the residual corrosion from Chaos Energy confronting Order Decrees, producing unstable ripples, akin to submerged undercurrents in the sea.

Elvin frowned deeply, waving to access more data streams, the screen constantly flashing information bands captured by Magic Tide sensors.

“This wave of abnormal pulsations is intensifying rapidly, closely related to the noticeable decline in Magic Tide that we’ve detected in recent months.”

His voice was deep and serious, “We must quickly ascertain whether this anomaly will trigger wider collapse!”

The assistant nearby anxiously handed over several analysis reports, showing multiple Time Space nodes induced chain reactions due to “Law Star Core” anomalies: rapid increase in magic power loss rate, greater amplitudes of multiverse spatial fluctuations, and partial Sealing Arrays exhibiting localized failure signs.

Elvin took a deep breath, focusing on the data center.

His eyes revealed a trace of cold determination, “This is not just a small-scale anomaly caused by the ‘Observer Protocol,’ but a far-reaching and far more dangerous great crisis than we anticipated.”

Meanwhile, within the New Rainbow Bridge City command center, an emergency meeting was underway.

Cynthia presided over the main control console, staring at the constantly flashing data streams, the holographic screen mapping out the state diagrams of different dimensional nodes and their status.

“Although the stripping of illegal entries from the ‘Chaos Scripture’ has achieved phased progress, the instability of the ‘Law Star Core’ is causing fractures in the structure of the entire multiverse.”

Her voice was steady, yet laced with undeniable worry, “If the core collapses, it will subject the Divine Kingdom frontier and even the entire multiverse defense line to an unprecedented onslaught.”

Reina sat beside, her silver-blue Armor, though damaged, still shone with a cold, sharp light, raising her wrist to gently touch the remaining sacred Rune on her chest: “Our Sealing Array must be strengthened as soon as possible, and more Knight squads dispatched to patrol, to prevent any hostile forces from taking advantage.”

Sofia stood by the window, her eyes glowing with a ghostly blue light, like the Sea of Abyss, deep and cold, “I will continue to use the Shadow Aurora form to cleanse residual corrupted malevolence, and assist the Priest Corps in strengthening the spiritual purifying Barrier.”

David walked slowly into the meeting room, his gaze sweeping across everyone, “Regarding the ‘Observer Protocol,’ Annie has discovered its hidden, complex cross-dimensional monitoring mechanism. Perhaps this ‘Law Star Core’ pulsation is related to a higher dimensional existence.”

Cynthia nodded, “Indeed, various forces are currently collaborating to research in hopes of finding a way to restrain it.”

The atmosphere in the meeting room was grave, yet filled with determination and hope; everyone was acutely aware of the importance of the fate at hand.

Nightfall draped New Rainbow Bridge City once more under a ghostly blue night shroud.

On the city’s edge, a shallow crack slowly spread, like an invisible spike piercing through the sturdy defense line.

This is an omen; though the “Root Prison” is strong, it shows fatigue against the ever-growing corrupt forces.

David stood alone atop the city’s high tower, gazing at the night sky, where countless twinkling stars seemed to see through all hardships and riddles.

He softly said, “Though darkness is deep, as long as our will endures, we can illuminate the future.”
