Wizard: Stronger through Marriage

Chapter 1411 - 661: Colossus Awakens

Chapter 1411: Chapter 661: Colossus Awakens

The cold front thrust itself into the area of the purple rift, freezing the local space as if it were a crystal-clear absolute hell.

At the edge of the "Wall of Sighs," a thick frost instantly covered the corrosion — the fallen spores seemed temporarily suppressed by this deadly freeze, with most collapsing and dissipating.

However, within this Frozen Domain, a bizarre phenomenon began to manifest.

Reina felt the Elemental Energy within her body suddenly backfire; it was the entropy spores counter-corroding her Divine Format origin, trying to tempt the part of her immortal soul deep within her core that remained unpurified through freezing.

This corrosion brought a faint sting and intense burning sensation, her face suddenly turned pale, but her eyes remained resolute:

"No... I cannot retreat! Even the purest of power can become the prey of darkness!"

She tightly clasped the scepter in both hands, murmuring ancient prayers in her heart to resist the onslaught with her life rhythm.

But the war interwoven between spirit and flesh was far from over; those frozen but not completely eradicated informational spores were quietly awakening, more frantically attempting to break through the seal!

David noticed all of this, his brows deeply furrowed, yet there was not a shred of hesitation.

He stepped slowly to Reina’s side, placing his palm on her shoulder, a touch warm and steadfast, like the sun dispelling extreme cold shadows.

He softly said, "Your will is our lighthouse; we will exert every effort to guard you to the end."

Annie swiftly adjusted the data prism parameters, accelerated the reverse program’s operational frequency, while projecting a vast number of purification runes to envelop the infected area:

"Commander, these entropy spores have an incredibly complex structure; conventional magic is difficult to completely eliminate them. We need to rely on the integration of technology and magic to clear them with a multi-layered synchronized system."

Sofia led the Illusion Forest Knight Order shuttling between the misty Illusion Realm, waving their longswords as they slaughtered the invading tendrils like a gale and tempest.

Where the sword edge reached, every shard shone with pure order light, even amidst a chaotic disorder, unable to obstruct the indestructible will of these Guardians.

Liya kneeled, singing the Life Decree, her sacred notes converging into a canopy, infusing unwavering belief and spiritual resilience into all the Guards, enabling them to remain steady-hearted even when faced with weightlessness and chaotic disintegration, without crumbling.

However, the reverse assault of entropy spores gradually exposed its fierce essence, rendering the situation increasingly stalemate with its resistance to Elemental Power.

Beads of sweat rolled down Reina’s face as she gritted her teeth, exerting all her strength to maintain confinement, but deep down, she vaguely felt that the hidden infection was bit by bit devouring her:

"I cannot let them occupy any gap!"

David gazed piercingly, gripping the phase dagger tightly in both hands, slashing one order holy mark after another in the air, each swing being the fiercest blow against the fallen darkness.

"All units maintain formation, no matter the cost, defend the final line of the ’Wall of Sighs’!"

In the distant sky, the mother ship of the Annihilation Fleet, "Void Cocoon," continued to stably release corrosive information fluctuations, its enormous shadow shrouding the world, as if its breath brought catastrophic doom.

But at this moment, it also had to face the disadvantage brought by Sofia’s clever use of shadow suction to disrupt its sensors, and the robust barriers erected by the collective efforts of the Guardians.

Time flew by, the tugging war of offense and defense intensified, with the earth frequently trembling, the new Chaos Scripture in the grand hall continuously responding to external information changes, flashing even more dazzlingly sharp runes, as blades tore through the skies, providing the strongest shelter for the Guardians!

The Crystal Song Plain, a battlefield once named for its crystal-clear surface, was now being ruthlessly torn apart.

The land was covered with intertwined purple and gray-black informational corrosion marks, every inch of soil seeming to tremble, countless edge pieces of crystal flickered with irregular rhythm light, yet could not resist the gradually spreading, twisting corrupt dark invasion.

In a deep rumble, the earth cracked open blood-red textures, tearing at the space and time origin like wounds revealing fangs.

The mother ship of the Annihilation Fleet, "Void Cocoon," slowly descended upon the plain’s center, its almost mechanized and colossal cocoon body filled with ancient decree runes and chaos codes, like a moving fortress, a cold and eerie blue glow leaked from the cracks, dyeing the surrounding air with a sense of deathly silence.

Low-frequency resonance like the roar of an evil beast emanated from the interior of the mothership, ceaselessly agitating the army’s mind.

Suddenly, a violent tremor spread across the entire Crystal Song Plain, the earth tearing open several massive rifts amidst earsplitting destruction sounds.

Within those rifts, a giant mechanical creation — the Law Disassembler slowly emerged from underground.

Its whole body made of rust yet extraordinarily solid data steel, with innumerable glowing runes embedded on each metal plate, those runes spun and leapt, emitting eerie and perilous information fluctuations, like immortal blades that could consume the origin of order.

The Law Disassembler’s limbs were massive and heavy, with every step it took, the earth crumbled into an abyss of thousands of feet, with each arm swing, the surrounding space fractured into chaotic rupture zones.

Its data eyes reflected cold blue flames, its gaze penetrating and seeming able to pierce the depths of the soul, turning all resistance into sand.

On the observatory platform in the distance, David’s brows were tightly knit, his eyes igniting an even graver and hotter flame as he gazed upon this scene.

He understood that this was not merely a contest of flesh and will, but a life-and-death showdown of the new era order against the thoroughly annihilating chaos torrents.
