Wizard: Stronger through Marriage

Chapter 1414 - 662: Sands of Time Reversal (Part 2)

Chapter 1414: Chapter 662: Sands of Time Reversal (Part 2)

This is the reflection of chaotic rules and collapsing decrees in the sky, a warning signal as the order of multiple realms teeters on the brink of collapse.

Liya sat at the edge of the Crystal Song Plain, in an ancient grove surrounded by strange radiance, her body draped in a soft and holy robe, with its hem gently fluttering in the wind.

She closed her eyes and silently chanted the life rhythm hymns, her entire being emanating a warm and pure Holy Light.

A symbol, shimmering with green and gold hues, appeared on her chest—her mark as the Life Goddess—a connection symbol of the World Tree’s roots.

She slowly extended her hands; from her palms surged soft energy like ripples, akin to a gentle breeze brushing over a lake, yet seeming to harbour profound power that could shake the very soul of the world.

As her prayers continued, the immortal power within her, connecting her fate to natural order, began to spill over, forming invisible threads linking her Life Divine Format to the vast and ancient World Tree root system below.

This root network of the World Tree resembled the deepest and oldest convergence of information in the universe, rooted in the fertile soil at the juncture of multiple realms, serving as the inexhaustible source of new-era ecological laws.

Under Liya’s guidance from her powerful life force, these intertwined roots began to wriggle and grow, layers of semi-transparent natural runes forming to construct a large ecological barrier imbued with pure order’s rhythm, restoring and covering the eroded and torn earth around them.

Inside the barrier, lush green buds erupted with life like a spring breeze, countless dewdrops reflecting vibrant colours between leaves. They drew and purified remnants of corrupt information, transforming them into fresh elements nourishing the land.

This was a miracle of reshaping information, combining both creativity and repair, a critical defense line against the endless assaults of the annihilation fleet by the guardian spirits.

However, as time passed, this new shield maintaining the ecological balance across realms also exposed a significant vulnerability.

Due to the annihilation fleet continuously releasing "rule dissipation waves," disrupting spatial laws and information structure, the fundamental decree system became extremely chaotic and unbalanced, and Liya, as a crucial node directly connected to this system, inevitably suffered destructive impacts.

Her brows were knitted tightly, fine wrinkles quietly spreading across her forehead, her cheeks becoming noticeably pale and sallow, strands of her silver-white hair increasing rapidly and falling messily over her shoulders.

This aging speed far exceeded normal laws, more like being forcibly dragged by time, each prayer exacting a heavy toll, while internal struggles surged:

"I can’t... I can’t just fall like this... I must protect this last strand of life!"

Beads of sweat rolled down her forehead; she clenched her teeth, using the remaining strength to continue chanting spells.

Yet her breathing became unusually rapid, each breath accompanied by faint tremors and sharp pain, as if invisible blades rent the meridians across her whole body, spreading pain deep into her marrow.

However, it was precisely this extreme pressure that fuelled the immortal soul flame within her, burning ever brighter, not allowing her spirit to collapse with her body.

Meanwhile, far from the frontline, the atmosphere in the council hall of the Divine Kingdom hanging high is exceptionally heavy.

A massive dome-shaped hall suspended in the void was brilliantly lit, yet the current focus of all executives inside was on the holographic astrolabe projection on the central altar.

It was a data universe scene woven by blue-silver runes, where flaws marred the spatial structure depicted, multiple clearly visible data stream faults slashing through the dome of the cosmos like sharp breaches, making every face solemn as if facing a formidable enemy!

The leader-level executive Phylos had tightly pressed lips, his experienced yet still piercing eagle-like eyes fixed on the astrolabe:

"Rule fractures are becoming more frequent and rapidly spreading, indicating that the annihilation fleet’s ’rule dissipation waves’ impact on our base system is more severe than expected."

His voice, though low, was full of alert, "Even though current defenses are effective, if the trend cannot be reversed, the core laws of multiverse will be in critical danger."

Another young council member, clenching his fists anxiously, said, "We must quickly formulate new response plans!

Perhaps more ’Guardian Apostles’ should be deployed with high-powered mental barriers to the Crystal Song Plain to assist Liya!"

Phylos pondered for a long time before slowly speaking, "Let us fully support the front line, but remember...

Any intervention must be administered cautiously to avoid triggering greater spatiotemporal disturbances."

Back on the battlefield, Sofia stood at the forest edge, her gaze penetrating through the misty illusion grid, observing scenes of the ecological barrier being constructed, her expression displaying complex emotions.

After the baptism of fierce battles, that steadfast confidence now mixed with a trace of worry.

"Sister Liya..." she whispered, "Please hold on, we will all try our utmost to protect you."

Members of the Illusion Forest Knight Order surrounded the area in defence, every face reflecting fatigue yet showing no retreat.

They remained alert, responding to the invading corrupt tendrils and entropic spore fragments from the shadow mist. Regardless of how many times they were knocked down, they always stood up to fight again, knowing it was more than just a war but concerning everyone’s future and fate!

Reina at the top of the tower continued manipulating the element authority to strengthen the Frost Seal, her eyes flickering with steadfast sparks, yet she increasingly felt the severe pain caused by erosion.

"I will endure to the end, as long as there is a shred of power..." Her voice was low and firm, allowing no doubt, even if her body was nearing its limit, she wouldn’t let the enemy exploit vulnerabilities to breach the defense!

The Titan Giant Statue at the Northern Fortress towered against the sky, under Annie’s precise control constantly adjusting posture to resist the ravages of law disassemblers’ limbs, every punch stirred up shocking thunder momentum.

However, its vast mechanical frame also showed subtle damage from the sustained assault, faint sparks and melting traces appearing from the steel textures...

David stood on the high platform, watching this fierce crossfire situation unfold. The strong decree aura from the phase dagger reinforced his will. He knew the outcome was undecided, relying only on every team member’s desperate holding on, supporting their last hope with their blood and will!

His eyes gleamed with radiant gold and ghostly blue flames, "Everyone hold on! Dawn is just ahead!"

The crack in the sky’s data stream remained unhealed, resembling an information spectre dragon clawing across the sky, continuously swallowing and spitting out destructive data fragments.

And that faint echoing eerie keen whisper between the clouds seemed to foretell a new catastrophe to come, facing which the multiverse must confront...

David stood on the high platform before the crevice, adorned in armour of radiant gold and sacred patterns.

He gripped the phase dagger tightly, his eyes bright and intense, red-gold and ghostly blue flames intertwining around the blade’s edge.

The storm gradually receded, yet the oppressive atmosphere in the air remained thick, making each breath exceptionally heavy.

He took a deep breath, gathering his will to the limit, "This time I must see for myself."

He whispered.

He knew that deep in the chaos which tore through the fabric of reality lay numerous hostile information entities, among them, the most dangerous were the legendary "Void Observers."

Human-shaped Observer units, dispatched by the annihilation fleet, were the Undead Guards to protect the core data regions.

Stepping forward, he leveraged the phase dagger’s information leap ability, a flash of light and shadow suddenly engulfed his entire form.

The next moment, he had pierced the spatial barrier, entering the twisted and shattered information black hole—the void rift.

Here, in the place where laws of multiverse were most severely imbalanced, all physical and information rules were as chaotically sliced as if by blades.

The surrounding space mirrored by irregular swirling vortices, and those flowing data remnants seemed ready to collapse into obliteration like sand, or form sharp spikes piercing directly into the soul.

David stepped forward, each step leaving a clear rhythmic trail amidst the purple mist and broken runes. With the phase dagger, he traced radiant glimmers on the ground, as if engraving an oath of immortality, solidifying the remaining order around him.
