Chapter 498: Chapter 204: Bloodline-Modified Wizard (Part 2)

David’s elemental barrier rapidly expanded, covering the entire battlefield.

Under the protection of this barrier, the wizards felt their powers greatly enhanced, making their magic more precise and powerful.

The assault of the black wizards was effectively weakened.

The black wizards felt an unprecedented threat, attempting to break through David’s elemental barrier, but each attempt was ruthlessly repelled.

"Seems we have no choice but to beastify."

"This wizard is a Tier Two Mage, don’t hold back anymore."

With his roar, the air was filled with a strange aura.

His body began to tremble violently, as if something inside him was struggling to break free.

Beneath his skin, his veins writhed like worms, muscles swelled, and his bones made a grating creak.

First, his eyes turned blood red, pupils contracted into a fine line, like a beast.

Next, sharp fangs grew from his mouth, and his tongue forked like a serpent’s tongue.

His hands began to deform, fingers became long and thin, nails turned sharp, gleaming coldly.

Behind him, a pair of massive bat wings tore through his robe, unfolding covered with fine scales, bringing a foul wind with each flap.

His legs also changed, knees bent backward, feet grew huge, with webbing between toes, like those of a frog.

Finally, a thick layer of scales covered his body, a sickly green emitting a faint glow.

A giant spider-like abdomen even grew in front of his chest, seemingly filled with toxic liquid.

This black wizard had transformed completely into a monster with various demon features.

His strength greatly increased, but at the cost of losing his mind, leaving only the desire for battle and destruction.

He roared, lunging at David, eyes gleaming bloodthirstily.

"What kind of monster is this?"

Watching the scene, even David was momentarily stunned.

Then he realized, the black wizard had transplanted numerous abnormal parts from Extraordinary Magical Beasts.

Though he appeared neither human nor ghostly, his energy waves were greatly amplified.

Especially at the heart position of the black wizard, radiating the energy wave of a Second-Ring Mage, clearly merged with a Tier Two Magical Beast’s heart.

"Bloodline modification experiment?"

David thought of this forbidden experiment within the Wizard Alliance.

This was a branch of Bloodline Mages, though it could grant immense power, the wizard might easily lose control.

In fact, some bloodlines were banned from transplanting by the Alliance.

After all, if wizards transplanted the bloodline of demons and devils, or other planes’ beings, they were easily controlled.

This almost equaled making various enemy spies for the Wizard Alliance.

Such bodily transformation experiments were especially forbidden, able to make bloodline mages part of monsters.

However, these were all black wizards, so nothing to worry about.

David stood in the center of the battlefield, his eyes shining with calm light.

As the monster charged, he took a deep breath and began to mobilize the elemental power around him.

The black wizard roared at David, his speed like lightning, creating shadows in the air with massive bat wings.

David swiftly performed a sealing technique, chanting a spell, suddenly a wall of earth rose from the ground to block the monster’s charge.

But the monster’s strength was astounding, broke the wall easily, continuing to approach David.

David cast his spell again, this time, countless water droplets condensed in the air, quickly freezing into sharp ice cones, shooting toward the monster.

The monster swung its massive claws, trying to deflect the ice cones, but several still pierced its body, drawing green blood.

However, these damages seemed to have little effect on the monster, as it continued to charge.

Just as the monster was about to pounce on David, David waved his hands, a wall of flames suddenly rose, high-temperature flames blocked the monster’s path.

The flames forced the monster back, but it quickly adjusted its strategy, using its wings to leap over the flame wall, launching an aerial attack at David.

Rumble—

Suddely, clouds gathered in the sky, electric flash and thunder, a massive lightning bolt struck down from the clouds!

The monster roared in pain under the lightning’s strike, its body wrapped in electric light, temporarily immobilized.

David gave the monster no respite, quickly moving behind it, hands gathering wind element power, forming a wind blade.

He swung forcefully, the wind blade like a sharp blade, slicing across the monster’s body, leaving a deep wound.

At this moment, other black wizards began their transformations too.

The air filled with a malevolent aura, their bodies twisted and deformed, muscles bulged, skins hardened like rock, eyes gleaming ominously red.

Their arms extended, fingers turned into sharp claws, devil-like wings sprouting from their backs.

These transformed monsters varied in form, some like giant spiders, some like giant wolves, others like bipedal lizards.

Their strength and speed greatly enhanced, seemingly naturally resistant to magic attacks.

David began to activate the power of the Elemental Wizard Tower within him.

The Elemental Wizard Tower emitted a dazzling light, forming a protective barrier around him.

The monsters roared deafeningly, charging toward David.

A monster like a giant spider attacked first, spewing sticky webs to trap David.

David calmly waved his magic staff, releasing a flame to incinerate the webs.

Next, a wolf-like monster lunged at David, its claws nearly touching David’s throat.

David swiftly sidestepped, simultaneously striking the monster’s belly with his staff’s butt, knocking it back.

The battle grew more intense as David continuously switched elemental powers.

Using frost to freeze the monsters’ actions at one moment, summoning gales to blow them around the next.

His movements quickened, becoming almost a blur among the monsters.

But the black wizards were also experienced in battle, working in coordination, trying to overwhelm David with numbers and strength.

A lizard-like monster spat corrosive acid, though David quickly blocked it with an earth wall, the acid began to rapidly disintegrate the wall.

Yet all their attacks were finally blocked by the defensive shield formed by the Elemental Wizard Tower, unable to harm David.

David activated his extraordinary perception to find the monsters’ weaknesses.

He closed his eyes, concentrating, feeling the elemental waves in the environment.

He discovered that despite their strength, the monsters had a subtle connection with natural elements.

Breathing deeply, he began chanting an ancient spell.

The surrounding elements responded to his call, gathering into a powerful force.

Suddenly, he opened his eyes, magic staff pointed to the sky, a massive lightning bolt descended, precisely striking each monster.

These lightning bolts contained ethereal power, dealing damage with four elemental forces at once!

Hit by the lightning, the monsters’ bodies began to convulse.

David gave them no chance to recover, abruptly activating the beastification mark, completely absorbing their transformed power.

Surges of life energy continuously absorbed, merging within David’s Life Seed, steadily being absorbed by him!

And as the black wizards lost control over the life energy maintaining their beastification, their bodies began reverting to normal black wizards!

"Our power, who on earth are you?"
