Wizard: Stronger through Marriage

Chapter 507 - 209: Contract Mark Transformation

Chapter 507: Chapter 209: Contract Mark Transformation

After some bargaining, David bought Azure Island for twenty thousand Magic Crystals.

This price was absolutely unbelievable in the past, considering it was once the base of a Second-Ring Mage Organization.

With the help of the Wizard Alliance, David completed the purchasing procedures and signed a series of contracts to ensure ownership and related rights of the island.

He couldn’t help but feel relieved; from now on, he had his own island, a base that could develop freely without external interference.

Although David successfully purchased Azure Island and left, his actions did not escape the notice of some people.

Some wizards with ulterior motives began to gossip privately, shocked and envious that David acquired an island that was once a Second-Ring Mage Organization base at such a low price.

In a dim secret room, several wizards gathered together, their eyes flickering with greedy glints.

"Have you heard?"

"That David actually bought Azure Island for twenty thousand Magic Crystals!"

An envious tone resonated from Edmund, a wizard clad in a dark red robe.

"Twenty thousand Magic Crystals?"

"That’s quite a fortune."

Another wizard, Sebastian, tightly clutched his Magic Staff.

"Moreover, I heard he bought a large amount of resources at the market."

Edmund added, his eyes narrowed as if calculating something.

"A large amount of resources?"

Sebastian squinted, "It’s apparent he plans to do something on Azure Island."

"Able to purchase an island and own substantial resources, yet merely a Quasi-First-Ring Mage, this is indeed a rare fat sheep."

Edmund nodded in agreement, "As long as we can obtain the things from that guy, it would be enough for us to break through to Second-Ring Mage."

"Hmm, it’s a risk worth taking."

These wizards started planning an ambush to intercept David and seize his Magic Crystals and resources.

They knew that with David’s wealth, he might have a Wizard Organization backing him.

Thus, they chose to set up an ambush on David’s inevitable route back to Azure Island.

These wizards came from different factions and possessed various special abilities and powerful Magic Items.

They believed their strength was enough to kill David without alerting anyone.

At the predetermined ambush site, these wizards arranged complex Magic Traps and Barriers to ensure David couldn’t easily escape once entering this area.

They also prepared countermeasures for David’s known abilities, such as Potions to weaken Magic Defense and special magic weapons to penetrate physical defenses.

"The Extraordinary Tail started its warning."

"It seems, indeed, some Black Mages plan to strike me."

David squinted slightly, but there was no trace of worry on his face.

Before reaching the ambush site, he detected unusual energy waves through Extraordinary Perception.

"Hopefully, these Black Mages are not broke."

David murmured and went straight ahead, a mighty energy wave emerging.

"Not good, the other party has discovered us!"

The hidden wizards’ faces all changed, this was clearly beyond their expectations.

But since they’d been discovered, they could only confront and kill this fat sheep directly, hoping not to alarm the Alliance Law Enforcement Team.

David’s footsteps didn’t hesitate at all; he walked straight to the area shrouded in Dark Energy.

As he approached, the surrounding air seemed to become heavy, the wizards hidden in the shadows had eyes flashing with tension and greed.

Originally, they thought their ambush plan was flawless, but David’s Extraordinary Perception easily tore through their disguise.

"Come on, let me see what abilities you have."

David’s voice was calm and powerful, his figure appearing unusually tall under the moonlight.

The wizards exchanged glances, knowing retreating was no longer possible.

They started chanting Spells, the magic waves from the Ocean Faction surging in the air, energy like ocean waves flooding toward David.

But David merely waved his hand lightly, an invisible wall of power blocking these attacks, the energy like seawater dispersing powerlessly before his defense.

"Is this all you’ve got?"

David sneered, his figure suddenly blurred, then appeared behind a wizard.

Before the wizard could react, he was struck by David’s punch, flying out heavily, losing consciousness.

The other wizards felt a chill rising in their hearts.

They realized the strength of this young wizard before them far exceeded their imaginations.

But greed and desire drove them to continue the battle, they began using even more powerful Spells, attempting to trap David.

Yet David was unhurried, his body seemed able to traverse space freely, each appearance accompanied by the fall of a wizard.

His fists, kicks, and even simple energy shocks contained astonishing power, each attack accurately hitting the wizards’ vital points.

Just then, one of the wizards suddenly charged forward, surprisingly, also a Body Refining Mage.

"Finally couldn’t hold back, huh."

David sneered, his Extraordinary Perception revealing that this cloaked wizard was indeed the same Body Refining Mage from before.

Energy surged within him, like a flowing torrent.

"Do you think you can challenge me with just your strength?"
