Chapter 513: Chapter 212: Adorable Witch
David and Eric talked for a long time.
Unfortunately, with their abilities, it’s almost impossible to delve deep into the Deep Sea Region.
Seeing this, Eric could only give up and planned to leave this dangerous sea area with the Alchemy Ship.
"You saved us this time."
"If you have any requests, feel free to ask."
Once the Alchemy Ship left the Deep Sea Region, Eric finally sighed with relief.
"I wonder if you have any inheritance about Bloodline Mages?"
David asked directly.
Mentioning Bloodline Mages, Eric was momentarily stunned.
Then he recalled and said, "I don’t have the Bloodline Mage inheritance."
"However, I do know the location of the Alien Race Continent, where you might find the Bloodline Mage inheritance you’re looking for."
A wave of excitement surged within David. The Alien Race Continent is a little-known place, rumored to have various ancient Secret Techniques and Bloodline inheritances.
Eric’s words undoubtedly gave him new hope.
"Alien Race Continent?" he asked tentatively, "Can you tell me more information about that place?"
Eric slightly frowned, seemingly pondering how to describe that place.
"The Alien Race Continent is located on the other side of the Endless Sea, separated from us by a treacherous sea."
"Those seas often have harsh weather and treacherous currents, even the mightiest ships find it hard to cross. However, there are indeed many ancient and powerful races there, who have their own Bloodline Mages and unique power systems."
"Sounds dangerous," David said, "But this is exactly the information I need. Can you guide me there?"
Eric gently shook his head, "We are now out of the Deep Sea Region, but reaching the Alien Race Continent safely requires meticulous planning and preparation."
"I do have the Sea Chart to the Alien Race Continent, but it is extremely hard to reach, and we’ve never been there." A trace of hesitation flashed in his eyes, "However, I can help you find those who can guide you."
David laughed, "Having the Sea Chart is good."
Going to the Alien Race Continent doesn’t necessarily rely only on ships.
David took the Sea Chart and began to examine it.
"For your safety," Eric continued, "we need to find some people who have been active around this area. They may have some knowledge about ways to reach the Alien Race Continent, maybe provide us with some clues."
He said this while pointing to a map hanging on the bridge, marked with some markets and ports.
David carefully observed the map, with some marked locations being places where alchemical caravans often operate. He asked, "If we want to seek clues at these places, which market should we start from?"
"Well," Eric thought for a moment and said, "The nearest one is a small port called ’Tide Market’. Merchants there often travel to and from various mysterious regions, full of stories and rumors; they might know something about crossing treacherous waters."
"Then to the Tide Market!" David said without any hesitation, already eager to acquire more information regarding the Bloodline Mage inheritance.
Days later, they arrived at the Tide Market.
Here, a mix of vendors, adventurers, refugees, and other kinds of people gather together. The market is bustling and lively, with all kinds of goods on display, yet there’s also a pervasive tension in the air.
"Be careful, this is not a place for blind trades," Eric reminded David as he was about to step into the market, "Some merchants are very cunning, they’ll exploit your desires for profit."
David nodded to show he understood that he must stay vigilant.
In this chaotic place, filled with opportunities and dangers, he began to seek out and listen for information pertaining to the path to the Alien Race Continent.
After bidding farewell to the alchemy ship, which was about to set sail again, David entered the market alone.
As time passed, he discovered a few shops that seemed to attract many adventurers, one of which was a shop named Deep Blue Antiques that appeared more mysterious.
The store was meticulously decorated, with various dazzling items that made one’s eyes blur, yet everything exuding an air of ancient and weighty charm.
Meanwhile, some figures wearing peculiar clothing and masks gathered here, potentially hiding individuals who could provide important information.
Finally, after several inquiries, he found a seemingly knowledgeable and insightful peddler.
He was sitting in front of a stall, flipping through old books while muttering to himself, "I heard you know something about Bloodline Mages?"
David asked straightforwardly, hoping to catch his attention.
The peddler lifted his head, casting a glance at David, his mouth curving into a faint smile, "Indeed, you are not an ordinary visitor."
"I do possess some information on Bloodline Mage heritage, but it’s not free."
He said slowly, his tone brimming with commercial intent, the mystery so thick, it almost solidified the surrounding air.
"What do you want in exchange?"
David remained calm, prepared for any situation.
He knew that in such environments, sometimes providing a portion of information might provoke deeper exchanges, while other matters require cautious actions to avoid falling into traps.
"Are you interested in ruins?"
The peddler asked softly, a certain probing tone in his voice.
"I’m interested in any information that could bring opportunities," David replied.
"My name is El, I am an explorer."
The peddler smiled upon hearing this and continued flipping through the book in his hand, suddenly tossing a yellowed parchment scroll to him.
