"Thank you for His Majesty the Sea Emperor’s welcome." David slightly bowed his head to express his respect.

The Sea Emperor slowly approached, scrutinizing David, sensing an extraordinary power from the aura and presence of his being.

"Indeed, there is the presence of the Sea God upon you."

"I hadn’t expected this time’s Divine Envoy to come from the Sea Dragon Race."

The Sea Emperor spoke slowly.

The Sea Dragon Race belongs both to the Dragon Race and the Sea Race, but they rarely get involved in the internal conflicts of the Sea Race.

"And what is truly worth pursuing is that sense of protection and responsibility, as a Divine Envoy endorsed by the Sea God, you should understand the importance of the responsibility entrusted to you."

"Of course." David nodded.

He came here to gain more knowledge about the Sea God’s legacy.

If he could become stronger with the Sea God’s legacy, he would undoubtedly use this power to accomplish tasks for the Sea Race.

After briefly greeting David, the Sea Emperor turned to the Clam Elder, speaking in a deep voice, "What has occurred?"

The Clam Elder glanced at David.

The Sea Emperor waved his hand to encourage the Clam Elder to speak directly.

The Clam Elder nodded, his expression grave, with worry glimmering in his eyes.

"His Majesty the Sea Emperor," the Clam Elder said, "I’ve recently received a piece of troubling news."

"In the Deep Sea Region, we have discovered some members of the Sea Race who have been in contact with Abyss Demons, and many have already fallen."

"Abyss Demons?" David furrowed his brows.

He had just recently fended off the Hell Mage corrupted by demonic powers, and now the Sea Race had become involved?

He vaguely sensed the heaviness that this term carried; once demons invade, it would wreak unimaginable havoc on the entire ocean, and even the Wizard World.

"Indeed, I happened to hear some rumors during my patrols," the Clam Elder explained.

"They claim to have gained some kind of power that can enhance their own abilities and unleash limitless potential. Many from the Sea Race have been tempted."

The Sea Emperor nodded, his expression becoming grave.

If this is not stopped in time, it is sure to have catastrophic consequences.

He cannot allow any force to lead his kind down such a dark path.

The Clam Elder continued, "Currently, we cannot determine how many of these corrupted individuals there are."

"But intelligence indicates that they are gathering some warriors and followers to plot expanding their influence."

Subsequently, the Clam Elder informed that he had been attacked by the Shark Race, one of the Four Great Royal Families.

Their power is formidable and has profound influence within the Sea Race; if they truly betrayed the Sea Race, it would be a disaster beyond measure.

Moreover, the Shark King’s strength is at the peak of the Five Rings, only surpassed by the Sea Emperor’s Sixth Ring power.

The Clam Elder stated firmly, "If we do not stop these Fallen in time, they will continue to tempt more members of the Sea Race."

The Sea Emperor nodded solemnly, "We need a comprehensive plan to use our powers to track these Fallen and thwart their schemes."

"Then, let’s decide on this." The Sea Emperor spoke in a deep voice.

"Clam Elder, thank you for the information you’ve brought us this time; now, rest well."

The Clam Elder nodded, leaving together with David.

As the Clam Elder and David left the Sea Emperor’s Palace, the surrounding seawater glittered with a warm glow under the sunlight.

Despite the beautiful and peaceful external environment, both of their hearts were shrouded in a heavy shadow.

"Lord Divine Envoy."

The Clam Elder spoke while swimming, "Thank you this time."

Without David’s help, she wouldn’t have been able to return to the Sea Emperor’s Palace and bring back the information.

As they gradually neared the Clam Elder’s residence located amidst the coral reef, vibrant corals and small fish cheerily swam in the water.

Upon entering the residence, the Clam Elder prepared a drink mixed with seaweed for David.

They found a comfortable spot and sat down.

The room was simply yet warmly decorated, with a small fish tank housing some lively little fish, swimming through the water plants.

"The Sea Race is sure to be chaotic next." The Clam Elder said.

"This isn’t merely a small incident; once you get involved, you may face tremendous danger."

"I am ready," David said seriously, "I will always protect you."

Upon hearing his words, the Clam Elder blushed, blinking her charming eyes.

"Hmm."

The Clam Elder’s face turned slightly red.

"You seem to be heavily injured," David asked again.

Upon hearing this, the Clam Elder’s expression turned gloomy, nodding slightly, "While escaping, I was corroded by a stream of Dark Energy."

"Even though the Sea Emperor bestowed me with some treasures, I still can’t completely dispel this Dark Energy."

Upon hearing this, David nodded, his eyes narrowing slightly, "Perhaps I can help."

"The Sea God Energy within my body, as long as it enters your body, can surely help dispel the Dark Energy and even make you stronger."

The Clam Elder’s tightly closed shell opened a bit, revealing a trace of excitement on her face, "Can it really be done?"

"Of course."

David nodded, then spoke of the method quietly.

The Clam Elder was startled, her face instantly flushed, "This this this... You’re joking."

"I wouldn’t lie to you."

"Just try it, and you’ll confirm what I say."

Since the Clam Elder did not immediately refuse, David smiled.

Although the Clam Elder was injured seriously, he could tell that her strength was at the Fourth Ring.

David hesitated no longer, entering the clam shell and holding the Clam Elder in his arms, gently soothing her.

The Clam Elder remained blushing, allowing the Lord Divine Envoy to act.

Suddenly, she felt a sharp pain, her delicate brow furrowed tightly.

David faintly smiled, cultivating while sensing the Sea God’s power coursing through his body.

He closed his eyes, concentrating, and once cultivation was complete, he slowly guided the Sea God’s power out.

"Relax, feel the energy I’m transmitting," David said softly.

The Clam Elder, though shy, understood the significance of this moment.

She took a deep breath, closed her eyes, gradually relaxing her body.

With David’s guidance, the warm Sea God’s power surged from his palms into the Clam Elder’s body.

Instantly, she felt a wondrous sensation; the power was so pure.

Like warm ocean waves gently washing over her, bit by bit dispelling the suffocating Dark Energy within her body.

"Very good." David continued to guide, "I want to expel those Dark Energy; don’t be afraid."

As time passed, a subtle resonance seemed to form between the two.

The Clam Elder felt her body gradually being occupied by the warm current, while the darkness was slowly being displaced.

Even though each time the Dark Energy was dispelled, she couldn’t help but feel a moment of pain, but more so was an unprecedented sense of relief.
