One path led to a bright and colorful paradise-like scene, while the other was dark, filled with thorns and a sinister aura.

"How should I choose?" David muttered to himself.

Although the bright path seemed tempting, he knew it might just be a facade.

While the dark path was full of unknowns, it could hide crucial clues to the legacy.

"What is my goal?" he asked himself, "Is it just the pursuit of power and glory?"

"No, I want to protect the people I care about and let them live a peaceful and happy life; that is the truly worthwhile goal to pursue!"

The images of his loved ones and his struggles on the Bright Continent flashed through his mind, constantly inspiring his will and making him increasingly resolute.

Finally, he decisively walked towards the dark path.

As he took the first step, a cold wind blew in, as if countless trembling and low voices whispered in his ears: "This is a dangerous road; are you really ready?"

David felt a force surge within him, dispelling fear.

At that moment, a dazzling light shone down from where the dark shadow disappeared, illuminating the whole space!

The light converged into a portal engraved with ancient runes, marking the crucial sign pointing towards the final trial!

Through the portal, a vast and serene ocean appeared in view, calm and only the gentle sound of tides could be heard.

In the center, a magnificent and ancient hall stood tall, its outer walls shimmering with blue fluorescence, as dazzling as the stars!

As David stepped into the hall, a warm and deep voice as loud as thunder echoed:

"Welcome to the place of the final trial. You must prove your beliefs through action here."

"Here, you will face the most important question. If you possess great power, how would you choose to use it?"

In the center of the hall emerged a crystal-clear, water flow-encircled human-shaped totem.

This represents the important symbol of decision and responsibility, as well as the source of ultimate wisdom and decisiveness.

"Every decision you make will affect the future. Please consider it carefully, regardless of the outcome."

At that moment, various scenarios intertwined and appeared in David’s mind.

As the declaration fell, a powerful energy instantly erupted through the hall, turning all negative emotions into dust, the crystal-clear human-shaped totem immediately emitted a bright blue light.

An invisible flow of information coursed through his soul, merging with all past experiences.

At that moment, the room in the hall began to blur.

When his vision cleared again, he found himself in a new space.

What echoed in his ear was the sound of the vast and boundless ocean.
