Chapter 1394 - 548: "Veteran Actor

Chapter 1394: Chapter 548: "Veteran Actor

Late at night, when the three stars of Green Ring No.2 completely sank below the horizon, the cosmic backdrop enveloped the entire colony like velvet.

The faint glow from the Crystal Tree appeared especially warm in the darkness, adding a touch of homeliness to this Exotic Realm.

Ron sat quietly by the dormitory bed, reminiscing about today’s successful "Chimera Cooking Class."

The innocent smiles on the students’ faces, the heartfelt group identity, and Hillas’ speechless expression outside the door...

All of it proved that true education goes far beyond simple knowledge transfer; it touches the deepest Awakening of the Spirit.

However, as an experienced Historian, Ron knew that any transformation would trigger a backlash.

Hillas’ silence today was too unusual; the shock mixed with jealousy might well be nurturing some dangerous seed.

"What kind of reaction would a traditionalist whose worldview has been overturned have?"

He mused to himself:

"Perhaps, I should make some preparations beforehand."

With this in mind, Ron slowly closed his eyes.

His consciousness retreated like the tide, reality’s Perception gradually blurred, and his Spirit began drifting toward that wondrous dimension bestowed by the King of Perfection.

On the boundary between consciousness and the Dream Realm, a doorway made of starry light slowly opened.

Hephis’ sandbox game space remained as magnificent as when first encountered.

The endless sea of stars flowed beneath, time’s fragments flitting like fireflies in the void.

The mysterious sandbox capable of simulating civilization evolution quietly floated in the center of the dimension, waiting for his arrival.

Ron skillfully approached the console, starting to conceive the theme of today’s simulation:

"How to guide a stubborn, traditional individual—or rather civilization—to accept a whole new ideology?"

Once he input this topic into the sandbox, a peculiar sensation surged in his heart.

The overall "traits" of the space seemed to undergo a subtle Transformation.

The originally solemn and serious academic atmosphere gained a touch of... indecipherable theatricality and absurdity.

"Is this..."

Ron furrowed his brow, carefully perceiving the anomaly:

"The residual effects of the Paradox Dice haven’t dissipated?"

He immediately recalled the traits of that magical die—twisting probabilities, creating absurd possibilities.

It was transforming his serious logical simulation into a form that was more... artistically expressive.

"That would indeed make it more interesting..."

Ron displayed a curious smile on the corner of his lips:

"Then, let me see what insights this ’absurdified’ simulation can yield."

He entered today’s experience with Hillas as a "variable" into the sandbox, initiating his first civilization simulation.

.........

[First Simulation: Prophet’s Solo Performance]

The surface of the sandbox began undergoing astonishing transformations.

What was supposed to be cold civilization models and data charts bizarrely morphed into an opulent theater stage.

The stage was draped with velvet-like red carpets, surrounded by Baroque-style golden decorations.

More astonishingly, the abstract symbols representing "civilization" turned into actors dressed in extravagant costumes.

They wore exquisite masks and layered long robes, each move filled with dramatic tension.

Ron found that he too had been "characterized":

He became a mysterious prophet cloaked in starry capes, standing atop the stage.

"Alright..."

He chuckled wryly, deciding to embrace the setup:

"Since we’re performing, let’s make it spectacular."

The play began.

The Prophet descended from the heights amidst mist generated by dry ice and dazzling spotlights.

As he prepared to showcase "miracles"—namely, the superiority of new ideas—a cascade of ribbons and balloons dramatically fell from the stage roof, rendering the scene gaudy to the point of absurdity.

"Listen, ignorant believers!"

The Prophet’s voice resonated within the theater, bearing an apocalyptic authority:

"Your ancient doctrines have decayed; only the new truths I bring can save your souls!"

However, the priests’ reaction was comically solemn.

The High Priest intoned with exaggerated opera-style vocals:

"Oh! This deceptive spectacle, how can it shake the ancient scripts etched deep within our souls!

We’d rather sink with tradition than embrace this desecrating new light!"

The other priests formed a circle, chanting in choir-like harmony:

"Heretic! Heretic! Burn this deceitful charlatan!"

The ensuing sequence unfolded with extreme theatrics.

The more the Prophet demonstrated miracles, the fiercer became the priests’ resistance.

The opposition swiftly escalated, culminating in a chaotic stage "civil war."

The actors wielded obviously prop-like cardboard swords, engaged in exaggeratedly comic "combat" on stage.

Some feigned being struck down, delivering a prolonged monologue before their simulated last breath;

Others brandished torches, simulating attempts to set the entire theater ablaze;

Some actors even charged into the audience seats, endeavoring to drag spectators into the absurd conflict.

Ultimately, the stage collapsed amidst extravagant explosion effects.

As the smoke cleared, a massive evaluation sign descended from the air, inscribed in golden letters:

[Script conflict overly intense; poor audience experience; box office failure; critically panned!]

[Rating Level: ★☆☆☆☆]

[Judges’ Critique: Prophet character too arrogant, lacking emotional Resonance with the audience. Recommendation for script rewrite.]
