Chapter 530 - 271: Enchantment (Part 2)
Chapter 530: Chapter 271: Enchantment (Part 2)
He discovered that drawing runes is somewhat similar to casting magic, both require precise control of spiritual power, but the detail and stability required by runes are much higher.

The silent prompt appeared again, and Ron knew he was on the right track.
Even though it’s just entry-level attempts, each successful practice accumulates skill experience.
The course lasted for nearly two hours.
Frederick detailed the theory and practice of several basic runes, briefly mentioning the position and role of enchanters in the Wizard World.
As the session neared its end, he glanced around the classroom, his gaze finally landing on Ron sitting in the back row.
"Teaching Assistant Ron, I didn’t expect you to be interested in Enchantment."
Frederick smiled, his voice carrying a hint of curiosity:
"If you’re not opposed, we could have a deeper discussion on some topics after class."
The apprentices in the classroom buzzed with interest, their eyes turning towards Ron.
They obviously did not expect Frederick to specifically mention this auditing teaching assistant.
Ron rose slightly, responding politely:
"It’s my honor to hear Master Levin’s explanations. I am particularly interested in the legacy of Ancient Alchemists, and Enchantment is an indispensable part of it. If there’s an opportunity, I’d love to ask more about the high-tier rune system."
Hearing this, Frederick’s eyes flashed a trace of amazement:
"Ancient Alchemists... It’s said you have the ’Hand of a Hundred Arts’ special talent, so I can understand your pursuit of the ’Three-in-One’."
This brief exchange revealed a tremendous amount of information, making the apprentices present very excited.
Ancient Alchemists, Hand of a Hundred Arts, Three-in-One... These terms were like ancient myths to them.
Through the conversation between the two masters, they felt as if they glimpsed a higher level of knowledge.
After the course ended, the apprentices reluctantly left the classroom, many still in heated discussion about what they learned today.
Ron, however, stayed behind for a brief conversation with Frederick.
"Your goals are very ambitious, Teaching Assistant Ron," Frederick said while organizing the teaching materials:
"The last Ancient Alchemist passed away nearly a thousand years ago, and most existing information is sealed in the archives of the Court of Truth."
Ron nodded slightly:
"Precisely because of that, it seems all the more precious. I have already accumulated a solid foundation in Magic Potion Making and Alchemy; Enchantment is the last piece I need to complete."
"This direction is very clear," Frederick commented:
"However, the path to Three-in-One is extremely challenging. Even in the history of the Crystal Tower, only a few have truly mastered the essence of these three core skills."
"I understand the difficulty," Ron’s voice was steady: "But I believe that as long as the direction is correct, one can always find a way forward."
Frederick nodded, taking a small crystal ball from the Spatial Bag and handing it to Ron:
"This is a ’Rune Memory Pearl’ containing some insights I recorded during my early years of learning. It might save you some exploration time."
Ron accepted the crystal ball, sensing the fluctuation of knowledge within it.
This was a rare gift, containing the valuable experience of a seasoned enchanter.
"Thank you very much, Master Levin," Ron said sincerely: "I will be sure to repay this kindness when possible."
Frederick shook his head slightly:
"No need to be so polite. It’s my honor to see a young person so passionate about ancient legacies. Enchantment needs more inheritors like you, and perhaps, when you achieve results, I might receive some of your ’favors’."
They discussed some professional issues further and agreed to have in-depth discussions in the future before leaving the classroom.
Walking back to his residence, Ron felt particularly joyful.
The gains from today far exceeded expectations. Not only did he acquire two new skills, but he also received recognition and valuable materials from a seasoned enchanter.
This brought him another step closer to his goal of achieving ’Three-in-One’.

With the gradual accumulation of experience points, Ron began to think about how to more efficiently enhance these two skills.
Compared to Magic Potion Making and Alchemy, the learning progress of Enchantment is evidently slower, primarily due to the limitations of practice opportunities and guidance resources.
"Reaching a proficient level probably requires more systematic learning and extensive practice,"
he calculated in his heart, "but fortunately, the foundation is already built, and next, I just need to continue on the correct path."
After returning to his residence, Ron immediately entered the Meditation Room, taking out the Rune Memory Pearl for in-depth research.
The contents recorded in the pearl were far richer than he anticipated, not only covering detailed analyses of basic runes but also including some rare rune variants and simplification techniques.
This precious firsthand material would save him a great deal of exploration time.
And with the learning enhancement from his professional panel, he felt confident he could master these skills faster than the average person.
