Chapter 546: Chapter 276: The First Achievement (Part 3)

Even if they have reservations about certain technical details, they cannot deny its potential value."

He walked to the window, gazing at the night view of the towers decorated with various Magic Crystal Lamp lights, contemplating his next plans.

"Once the thesis is recognized, it will not only build my academic reputation but also gain more resource support."

Ron pondered, "This is crucial for the subsequent mobile workshop construction and deeper research."

"Then there’s the ’Rainbow Ring’ competition." He continued to plan:

"That precious ’Lance’s Experiment Notes’ might bring new breakthroughs to my bloodline research..."

"Knowledge, resources, strength..." Ron recited the pursuit sequence he always adhered to:

"Every step must be steady."

The next morning, Ron donned a simple and dignified dark robe.

With the thesis and related materials neatly organized into the Scroll Box, he headed to the academic review office at the Crystal Tower.

The review office is located in an independent building in the central area of the School.

The exterior is modest yet solemn, constructed entirely from a rare white stone.

The surface is engraved with ancient wisdom inscriptions, symbolizing the spirit of knowledge and reason.

As he entered the hall, a solemn atmosphere immediately surrounded him.

The air was filled with the unique scent of parchment, ink, and ancient books.

Mixed with faint fluctuations of magic power, forming a unique "academic atmosphere."

Inside the hall, dozens of Wizards were either waiting or whispering softly, each with different expressions.

Some appeared expectant, likely here to submit their theses;

Others looked anxious, possibly awaiting review results;

And others had gloomy faces, perhaps having just received unsatisfactory evaluations.

Ron stood among the crowd, observing the surroundings and the people.

"Wizard Ralph! What a surprise to see you here." A gentle voice came from behind.

He turned around, seeing a middle-aged man in a deep blue robe approaching him with a kind smile.

This was William West, Associate Professor, and head of the Alchemy Element at the Crystal Tower, also one of the evaluation experts when Ron first arrived at the Central Lands.

"Good morning, Director West." Ron nodded slightly, maintaining just the right polite distance.

"Busy with academic research since your arrival at the Crystal Tower, the committee’s ’Treasure Level’ evaluation was well-deserved."

William’s tone carried a hint of admiration:

"Are you here to submit a thesis? Which field is your research in?"

"On the miniaturization and mobilization improvement of Simulation Battle Devices." Ron answered succinctly, showing basic respect while maintaining some reservation.

"Simulation Battle Device?"

William’s eyebrows slightly raised, initially showing obvious surprise, then turning into deep interest:

"That’s a highly challenging topic. The energy demands and spatial limitations of traditional devices have always been bottlenecks for many researchers; if substantial breakthroughs can be made..."

He did not finish, but the light in his eyes revealed profound understanding and curiosity in the field.

"My research is precisely targeting these bottlenecks."

Ron nodded in confirmation, with confidence in his tone.

"Looking forward to your outcomes, Wizard Ralph."

William’s smile became more genuine:

"With the talent and ability you’ve demonstrated, I believe you’ll surprise the review committee. Hope to have the chance for detailed discussions in the future."

After a brief exchange, William bade farewell, and Ron continued to queue for submitting his thesis.

When his turn came, the receptionist—a gray-haired, stern-faced elderly woman—took his materials and began recording basic information.

"Ron Ralph... Mobile Simulation Battle Device... Cross-field of Alchemy Device and Soul Fragment Stabilizing Technology..."

The old woman mumbled as her fingers skillfully wrote in a heavy register.

Ron noticed a barely perceptible pause at the pen tip when she recorded "Soul Fragment Stabilizing Technology."

After completing the registration, she looked up, her voice returning to an official blandness:

"The thesis has been officially received; the review process will take approximately seven to ten days. The review results will directly be notified through the Magic Message Board. In case of special circumstances, we will contact you separately."

"Thank you." Ron responded briefly, then left the review office.
