Just then, Giant Dragons roared in the sky. Numerous Black Dragons circled overhead, seemingly in search of prey.

The Corrupted Heroes had Covenant Beasts, just like the Heroes from the Continent of All-Gods, and most of their Covenant Beasts were from the Dragon Race. However, the Dragon Race of the Difiled Camp mainly consisted of Black Giant Dragons, different from those allied with the Continent of All-Gods.

Jiang Chen looked up and spotted a figure atop a Dragon Head. It was clear that the Corrupted Heroes were searching for their tracks.

Quickly, the three found a large tree and hid, making no noise whatsoever.

Luckily, the Black Dragons circled for a while but found no one and departed again.

Xia’s eyebrows were deeply furrowed. Leaving this place isn’t going to be easy! There were too many Corrupted Heroes around. It would be difficult to evade their notice.

At that moment, rustling noises came from nearby. Jiang Chen readied himself for battle as dozens of figures emerged from the bushes. He recognized the leaders—it was Van Lundin and his group. The Wanderer was among them.

Jiang Ling whispered, "It’s that Swordsman."

Van Lundin nodded.

Van Lundin said, "Friend, how about we travel together? Now that Teleportation Scrolls are unusable, we have to walk out of Mediya Luna’s Territory and then find a way back."

Xia looked at Jiang Chen and asked softly, "Jiang Chen, what do you think?"

"Too many people make an easy target," Jiang Chen replied. He then stated, "We’re not on the same path. It’s better if we go our separate ways."

Van Lundin argued, "We are all Heroes from the Continent of All-Gods. Now that we’re deep in enemy territory, we should band together to resist the Difiled Camp. United, we stand a chance to escape."

What a joke, Jiang Chen thought. You have dozens of people with you! With so many people together, we’re bound to be exposed. Only by splitting up is there a chance to leave this place for good. If we team up, the moment Corrupted Heroes circle overhead, we’ll surely be found. And then we’ll face relentless pursuit from the Corrupted Heroes.

"With too many people, we’re more likely to become a target. Sorry, but the three of us are enough," Jiang Chen declined again.

Who knows what intentions this fellow truly has? he thought. He didn’t trust them. Besides, I’m sure they have Teleportation Scrolls. As soon as they leave Mediya Luna’s Territory, they’ll use them to return to the Continent of All-Gods.

Jiang Chen led Xia and Angelina away.

Van Lundin furrowed his brow. "Damn it, that Swordsman actually refused."

Jiang Ling said, "Actually, what he said makes sense. Now that this space has been sealed, the only way to leave completely is to split up. Let the others become targets while we seize the opportunity to escape. That’s our best chance of success."

Many Corrupted Heroes had already gathered, at least hundreds of them. Some were circling in the sky, while others were stationed on the ground, blocking anyone from leaving Mediya Luna’s Territory.

"No. But they haven’t used Teleportation Scrolls, so they must still be within Mediya Luna’s Territory."

Xia looked up at the sky and said to Jiang Chen, "You were right; the more people in a group, the greater the chance of being exposed. Still, it’s strange. There’s no need for them to hunt us down so intensely just because we entered Mediya Luna’s Territory."

Jiang Chen commented, "The number of people hunting us is a bit much. There are at least tens of thousands of Corrupted Heroes."

Xia’s face was full of doubt. As they moved within Mediya Luna’s Territory, a group of Black Dragons would appear circling in the sky nearly every ten minutes. Xia cursed in frustration. Have we robbed their wives or killed their fathers? Why are so many people trying to intercept us?

"Yes," Xia confirmed. "Many great families have Divine beings—those who possess a God’s Seal, not just Demigods."

Jiang Chen knew that after becoming a Demigod, one could earn the status of Divine through completing missions. This involved having the All Gods craft a God’s Seal for them. The mission typically involved slaying Divines from an enemy camp. When Jiang Chen eventually becomes a Demigod, it will be the same for him. He would also have to complete the Trial of God through missions.

Xia explained, "For Heroes to become Divine, there are only two methods. The first is inheritance: finding and inheriting a God’s Seal. The second is a test, known as the Trial of God. These ancient families have many Demigods and even existing Divine beings, which makes it significantly easier for their members to complete the Trial of God."
