Chapter 638: Chapter 637, Successful Comprehension, Promotion to God of Destruction_1

The two entered the small world, flying all the way to the Tundra Continent without encountering any obstacles.

There were hardly any Wanderers left on the Tundra Continent now. They had abandoned their previous methods of condensing Energy and had instead joined the Continent of All-Gods. Their new approach involved killing monsters to enhance their True Qi, a system where Energy automatically converted into True Qi. This method was much faster than condensing it themselves, and they no longer needed to endure the hardships of the tundra.

"There were many people here once," said Ba Jie. "But now, everything has changed. They’ve all gone to Xileruo World and joined the Alliance of All-Gods."

"They are Heroes, so they don’t need to worry about suffering."

Ba Jie nodded. "The Curse Seal has also vanished."

Speaking of the Curse Seal, Jiang Chen almost forgot that there was a Curse Lord in the Alliance of All-Gods. This Curse Lord was a Divine King of the Continent of All-Gods, the only Cursed King God.

There were thirteen Divine Kings on the Continent of All-Gods:

Space Divine King: Laines

Time Divine King: Chris

Cursed King God: Coleman

Together with the other ten Divine Kings, they governed the Continent of All-Gods. If Jiang Chen were to become a Divine being and a Lord, he would be the God King of Destruction.

"It should be Curse God King Coleman who ended the curse," said Jiang Chen.

The two advanced further into the depths of the Tundra Continent. At a towering mountain peak, they entered and found a dazzling Door of Space and Time. "Cross through this Door of Space and Time, and we’ll reach the Origin of Wanderers," said Ba Jie.

"Are you going in?"

"Now that I’m here, I’ll accompany you to take a look."

The two passed through the light curtain and entered the Origin of Wanderers.

The entire city was in ruins, permeated by Exotic Energy. Jiang Chen felt significant radiation, but as a Demigod, he wasn’t the slightest bit scared.

"This is the Origin of Wanderers—bereft of life, nothing but ruins..."

"I’ll go take a look. You can go back!" said Jiang Chen.

He then ventured forth, inspecting the surroundings. There was nothing but ruins; no sign of a person, not even the shadow of a ghost. Exotic Energy radiation filled the air, and swirling sand choked the skies.

At last, in one city, he discovered a library and entered. After searching, he found some Taoist books that remarkably hadn’t decayed at all. Jiang Chen started reading immediately.

The Sect Hierarch of Taoism advocated that fate lies within oneself, not in the heavens. They believed that birth did not necessitate death and that one could prevail against the heavens through one’s own power. It appeared that Taoism aligned with this universe as well. The Heroes were similar; they pursued the Laws and aspired to become Divine.

Jiang Chen continued to read: "Only by embracing emptiness can one align with the Tao, for emptiness is the abstinence of the heart. The Great Dao is utmost in emptiness and stillness; thus, the human heart should be clean and serene to align with the Great Dao..."

If my heart is not serene, how can I condense the Seal of Destruction?

Jiang Chen read on.

He packed up all the surrounding books, took them with him, and found a house on the Tundra Continent to contemplate his findings. Although he couldn’t grasp the Secret Techniques within them, he was able to perceive the mysteries they held.

From then on, Jiang Chen settled down on the Tundra Continent. Aside from hunting for food, he spent every day researching the books, achieving a state of true tranquility.

「Time flew by...」

After five years, he finally discovered a method: employing the technique of forming a Golden Core to cultivate his Essence, Energy, and Spirit into a single God’s Seal.

Neither the Continent of All-Gods nor the Difiled God Continent offer any Cultivation Techniques for training the Primordial Spirit. They all focus on condensing the physical body, advancing by upgrading Levels. This is just like the ancient Cultivators; the terminology merely differs. The ancient Cultivators had Realms like the Qi Training Realm, Golden Core Realm, and Nascent Soul Realm, while in the Alliance of All-Gods, it’s classified into Stages: First-Stage, Second-Stage... Ninth-Stage... then Divine, and Lord. It’s nothing more than a change in name, a different mode of cultivation.

The God’s Seal is presumably about combining Essence, Energy, and Spirit with the Law to create a Golden Core—a God’s Seal. Why can’t Demigods condense the God’s Seal? It must be because they don’t cultivate the Primordial Spirit, relying solely on their physical body and mental Spirit rather than the Primordial Spirit. That’s why they cannot integrate them. They are unable to refine the Law into a Seal. In fact, the Seal *is* the Golden Core. It’s just shaped differently, that’s all!

Thinking of this, Jiang Chen realized his next goal was simple: he just needed to condense his Primordial Spirit and find out how to combine his Essence, Energy, and Spirit into one to form a Golden Core.

「Thirty years passed...」

Jiang Chen was still refining his Primordial Spirit and Spirit, striving for a higher Realm. After thirty years of arduous cultivation, the dust finally settled. He transformed his Essence, Energy, and Spirit into a single Seal—the Seal of Destruction. While condensing the Seal, he also gained an understanding of the power of Domains, achieving the Domain of Destruction.

However, that Seal was different from others; it was a smooth sphere, just like a Golden Core.

Jiang Chen said with a wry smile, "Have I become an immortal Cultivator?"

Is a Divine being just a Golden Core? What the heck...

Actually, becoming a Divine being wasn’t about forming a Golden Core itself. Rather, the method of condensing the God’s Seal was similar to forming a Golden Core, as both were perfected using Essence, Energy, and Spirit. The Heroes of the Continent of All-Gods did not cultivate their Primordial Spirits and couldn’t merge them into Golden Cores; they could only become Divine beings through the Destiny Fruit.

What exactly is this Destiny Fruit? So damn powerful!

Jiang Chen stood up and walked out of the great mountainous tundra. Now that he had become a Divine being, it was time to return to the Continent of All-Gods.

Jiang Chen already had his next steps planned.

Since the methods are the same, figuring out how to become a Lord should be similar to breaking through to the Nascent Soul Realm. The Core breaks and the Infant emerges... I just need to strengthen my spiritual power. These thirty years of arduous cultivation were definitely worth it!

Jiang Chen returned to the Alliance of All-Gods.

I wonder how the Sword Pavilion is doing now? Have more Divine beings been added?

He made his way back to the Sword Pavilion. Just as he entered the Jian Pavilion Legion, he saw two Demigods standing at the entrance. To his surprise, they were not Wanderers, but Heroes.

What??? Not Wanderers? How did this become a base for Heroes? What about the eighteen Divine beings of the Sword Pavilion?

"Stop! This is the Jian Pavilion Legion. No outsiders may trespass," one of the Demigods chided.

Jiang Chen asked, "Where is Zhao Yuyan?"

"Who is Zhao Yuyan?"

They don’t even know Zhao Yuyan? It seems thirty years have really changed many things! Jiang Chen thought.

One of the Demigods asked, "Who are you?"

"Jiang Chen, the God of Destruction."

God of Destruction? The two Demigods looked puzzled. Never heard of him!

"There is no Zhao Yuyan here. You should leave!"

"Who is the Master of the Sword Pavilion now?"

"What’s that to you?"

STEP, STEP, STEP...

A Divine being flew over swiftly. Upon seeing Jiang Chen, he exclaimed in surprise, "Master, you’ve returned!"

Jiang Chen turned his head and saw him: Tao Haiwang.

He was once a Divine being of the Sword Pavilion. When Jiang Chen had left, he had given eighteen God’s Seals to the Pavilion for its growth and prosperity.

But what now? Thirty years later, I’ve returned, only to find I can’t even enter my own Sword Pavilion. The entire Sword Pavilion has undergone a complete transformation. Zhao Yuyan is no longer the Master of the Sword Pavilion; someone else has taken the position. Is this still my Sword Pavilion?

Jiang Chen looked at Tao Haiwang and asked, "What exactly happened? Where is Zhao Yuyan? Why isn’t she the Master of the Sword Pavilion anymore?"

Tao Haiwang whispered, "Let’s talk over there."
