Chapter 703- Believe in science

“That is… Steamed Mandarin Fish?”

Zhou Chi looked at the dishes and gulped his saliva down. Father and sister gave him a weird gaze like they were suspecting if this grandmaster was a conman and was just getting free food. Only I firmly believed as his Blazing Sun Realm energy was too intense. Father and sister couldn’t sense it but I could right away.

“Old fellow.”

Lin Cheng picked up his chopsticks and smiled, “Aren’t you on a diet? You can just absorb energy essence, why are you caring about the fish?”

Zhou Chi laughed and picked up his chopsticks too, “I am not becoming a celestial so why would I totally be on a diet. Since I am a human then naturally I would taste all this.”

The two old man started to eat.

I picked up my chopsticks too and helped pour wine for father and sister, “Father, sister, let’s drink a little.”

“Okay.”

It was rare for us to meet up. Although there were two people consuming food to our side, it didn’t stop us from reminiscing. We drank cup after cup and ate much of the food too. Not long later we were full. After which, four bodyguards and two drivers walked over and one of the drivers said, “Boss, Miss, there is a meeting in the afternoon we should head out if not we would be late.”

“Okay---”

Father picked up his work back and turned towards me, “Lu Li don’t rush to head back, you should stay and accompany the two old man.”

“Understood.”

Not long later, both father and sister left. The entire hall was left with the three of us and the beautiful butler.

Lin Cheng burped and said, “I am nearly done. Let’s find a place for Old Zhou to teach my disciple a few moves?”

“Scoff…”

Zhou Chi laughed, “Old Lin, you were also a sword path expert, your disciple… Needs me to teach?”

“Different.”

Lin Cheng laughed, “I can teach energy control realm disciples but Blazing Sun Realm, my moves aren’t enough.”

Since we are fated then let’s go and find a place for me to teach you a few moves. But whether or not you learn much depends on your comprehension. Let me tell you first, I will only teach you the sword and won’t take you as a disciple. I am carefree and don’t want to be bonded to a place.”

“Okay senior, let’s go to the roof?”

“Okay.”

Roof, it was really huge.

Zhou Chi held his hands behind his back but his old sword was actually hanging in the air. He laughed, “Little fellow, pull out your sword and show me your strength first?”

“Okay senior.”

I stepped forwards and flames spurted from my body. I grabbed with my right hand and reached into space to pull out Little White. Blazing Flame Army wrapped around the blade and killing intent spurted out. After which, I did a few quick slashes, stabs and sweeps.

“Not bad--”

Zhou Chi smiled, “You already have some attainments but you have not seen through the essence and secrets of the sword path.”

Lin Cheng waved, “So today I would like you to teach him a little--”

“En!”

Zhou Chi raised his hand and his sword came out of his sheath. The sword was really sharp and he smiled, “Little fellow take a close look, how much you learn depends on you!”

He jumped and his blade turned into a streak of dusk that sliced apart the sky in front. The buzz caused the space around to shake and twist.

“This move is called Rising Dynasty!”

He retreated a few steps and his right hand spun quickly to turn the flame sword light into a spiral energy that swept the leaves on the roof. Under the invisible sword energy, the leaves were shattered and turned into dust. The killing strength was terrifyingly strong.

“This move is called Flying Flame Sweeping Leaf!”

Zhou Chi stopped and kicked forwards causing the falling leaves to spin. Shortly after, Zhou Chi jumped and his body bent like a bow. The sword slashed out towards the leaves and that sent dozens of sword energies forwards. With a slashing sound, the leaves were all shattered.

“This move is called Heaven Flame Flicking Plains!”

After demonstrating, Zhou Chi landed on the ground and returned his sword back to its sheath, “Little fellow have you seen it clearly? If you learn these three moves, it would be enough for you to sweep everyone in your life!”

I was shocked and shook my head, “Senior I don’t really understand, can you… Demonstrate a few more times?”

“Sure.”

Lin Cheng said, “Old fellow, does your sword techniques not have any cultivation methods? Or you aren’t even planning to teach him these three moves?”

Zhou Chi rolled his eyes, “No wonder your sword skills aren’t even as good as Li XIao Yao. I didn’t know what to say but I had remembered his three moves just that I wasn’t certain. I nodded, “Senior please demonstrate it a few more times.”

“Okay!”

Zhou Chi continued to demonstrate. I slapped my wrist and said towards Stareye, “Use the hologram system to record it down…”

Not long later, Zhou Chi showed it seven times before keeping his sword. He asked, “What about now?”

“Nearly.”

I held Little White and smiled, “let me try and then Senior can correct me?”

“Okay.”

I dashed forwards and Little White slashed through the space and I used Rising Dynasty. The moment the sword thrust out, the entire space collapsed and everything was annihilated. I then spun the sword and swept the leaves around. Then I thrust forwards once more and a bright light shone in the wind. If someone was looking at us using a binoculars, he would be really impressed.

“...”

Zhou Chi was silent.

“Oi!”

Lin Cheng smiled, “Old fellow how is Lu Li?”

“Unbelievable.”

Zhou Chi sighed, “The youth is so strong. Just seven demonstrations and he can use it to a small extent. This fellow is a real talent, Old Li you picked up a treasure!”

“Since that is the case then I will be leaving.”

Lin Cheng stared at me, “Each time he demonstrated, you would think for 30 minutes. If not why would you think that you learned so quickly?”

I exclaimed, “okay Master, you can wait at home, I am heading back to the studio.”

I drove the car back.

It was 5:30 when I returned and I saw Shen Mingxuan carrying a bag and wearing a fitting skirt. I lowered the window and asked, “Mingxuan where are you going?”

“Eat and then watch a movie!”

She leaned forwards and confirmed that there was no one in the other seat, “A handsome guy invited me so I might be back late. You can accompany Lin Xi and Ruyi. Dinner will arrive soon.”

I hesitated, “What handsome guy, is he as handsome as me?”

She laughed, “Not telling you, I am leaving---”

She waved and left the house.
