Chapter 1844: Sky Dragon Demihuman - Long Yuxi III
Long Yuxi possesses an upright posture like a female human, yet nearly every part of her body retains the unmistakable features of a dragon, making her look like a true dragon standing on two legs, not a human with dragon-like features. She wears flowing white-and-silver robes specially tailored to fit around her wings and tail.
Her head is not that of a human but of a white dragon. A pair of long, elegant horns curve back from its crown, smooth as polished jade and marked with faint silver veins.
Her elongated snout is lined with razor-sharp ivory fangs that remain visible even when her mouth is closed. Two white whiskers dangle from either side of her snout, gently drifting with every movement. Her eyes are large and luminous, their golden irises surrounding narrow, vertical pupils that exuded calm authority.
A crest of long crystalline scales grows from the back of her head and down to her neck like a flowing white mane. Smaller decorative spines frame her jaw and cheeks without diminishing her elegant appearance.
Every inch of her body is covered in flawless white dragon scales, shimmering with a soft, pearlescent light. The scales are smooth and soft around her chest, abdomen, and limbs, while larger, overlapping plates reinforced her shoulders, forearms, thighs, and shins.
Her torso is well-defined, with naturally curved hips, a narrow waist, and large breasts protected by flexible layers of dragon scales that contour her physique without sacrificing mobility.
Her arms are long and muscular, culminating in five-fingered dragon hands. Each finger bears curved white claws harder than steel, capable of tearing through armor or gripping rock as if it were soft clay. The strong scales of her forearms overlap like natural gloves, providing exceptional defense.
Her legs are long, built for speed and explosive power. The muscles beneath her scales are clearly visible, allowing her to leap great distances and land unscathed. Her dragon feet have broad claws that can anchor firmly to rocks or cloudstone while maintaining perfect balance.
A magnificent pair of massive white dragon wings rises from her back. The strong ivory wing bones support a wide membrane covered by countless fine scales that shimmer beneath sunlight. A long, thick dragon tail nearly equal to her height extends behind her hips.
Long Yuxi snorted in disdain. "You two aren’t that kind-hearted, especially you, Meng Huo. Speak! I know you two came to see me today with ultimate motives."
"Haha," Meng Huo just laughed listening to her remarks. "The two of us came here without any ulterior motives, and our main reason was those foreign creatures."
"Does that mean you two have encountered those foreign creatures before?" Long Yuxi asked, glaring at them.
Meng Huo nodded slightly. "As you know, I’ve never settled in one domain, but I’ve fought with some of them before, so I can say that they’re powerful and troublesome."
"Those creatures invaded my domain several times, and I also spent a lot of time killing them. Every time they come to my domain, they become even stronger." Long Yuxi looked at Jiu Tou Sen with surprise. "A week ago, dozens of them invaded my domain, and it took me a week to exterminate them. I don’t know if I can fight them again if they continue to get stronger, especially if they come in greater numbers."
"Those foreign creatures invaded my domain about three days ago, which forced me to wake up from my slumber. At first, their numbers weren’t large, but their numbers have been steadily increasing in the past two days, and they’ve become increasingly powerful." Long Yuxi released a tired sigh. "Do you two know their origins?"
Both Meng Huo and Jiu Tou Sen shook their heads. "We don’t know the origins of those foreign creatures, but we know someone who might know something about them."
"Who?"
"Guang Zhiyi."
Long Yuxi was momentarily stunned. "Are you serious about that? Has Guang Zhiyi really returned?"
"She’s back, and she’s stronger than in the past." Meng Huo created a qi screen that showed the situation inside Tang Zhiyao’s dream space. "See? One of those women is the flame spirit who lived by Guang Zhiyi’s side in the past, and their relationship is very close."
Long Yuxi didn’t say anything, and her gaze focused on Feng Yao’s figure. She recognized Tang Zhiyao and Huo Ling, but she could not recognize the phoenix princess.
Long Yuxi could see that Huo Ling and Feng Yao had an unusual relationship, which convinced her that the latter was the reincarnation of Guang Zhiyi. She raised an eyebrow for a moment when she saw Zhang Fei with the three women. "Who is that male fox?"
"His name is Zhang Fei, and he is the husband of the three women." Long Yuxi’s eyes widened in shock as soon as Meng Huo revealed that. "I’m not making up stories, okay? The female flame spirit addressed him as her husband, and Guang Zhiyi also looked at him with an unusually gentle gaze. He claimed to be Tang Zhiyao’s husband, and I chose to believe him because of the presence of the other two women."
Since Huo Ling addressed Zhang Fei as her husband, Long Yuxi chose to believe that he was the husband of the three women. Besides, she had heard a lot about Tang Zhiyao, and she knew that Meng Huo was obsessed with her, but the female demon god was never willing to accept him. "Do you know what kind of fox race that man is? As far as I remember, there are no nine-tailed fox races in this Ancient Realm, but I do remember about the ten-tailed fox, Hu Tianlang."
"He told me that his fox race is the nine-tailed heavenly fox."
"The nine-tailed heavenly fox." Long Yuxi muttered to herself as she searched through her memories. "I’ve heard of several fox races in the past, but all of them disappeared without a trace. There are several fox races, like the moon fox race, the golden fox race, the spirit fox race, and several others, but I’ve never heard of the nine-tailed heavenly fox race."
Meng Huo shrugged his shoulders. "If you haven’t heard of that fox race, then I don’t know anything either."
"What about you?" Long Yuxi glanced at Jiu Tou Sen.
Jiu Tou Sen shook his head. "I’ve never cared about those fox races, so I don’t know anything about them. However, I do know some things about the ten-tailed fox, Hu Tianlang, and he’s as powerful as Guang Zhiyi."
"Hu Tianlang was indeed as strong as Guang Zhiyi, but he suddenly disappeared without a trace, and no one managed to find him, including those beast races."
"Speaking of Guang Zhiyi, Meng Huo and I plan to go see her."
"Oh? Where does Guang Zhiyi live?"
"I don’t know Guang Zhiyi’s whereabouts, but Zhang Fei claims to be that weak female demon god’s husband. She is one of the demon gods of the Myriad Abyss Domain, so we will go there to meet them."
Long Yuxi raised an eyebrow again. "The Myriad Abyss Domain is Mo Qingwen’s territory, right?"
"That’s right." Meng Huo nodded. "The four of us are the only ones left of the ten strongest old cultivators, and we haven’t seen each other in a long time, so we’d like to invite you to join us."
Long Yuxi nodded. "I have nothing to do, and those foreign creatures might attack me again, so I’ll go with you two."
"Let’s go." Jiu Tou Sen transformed into his beast form, and he immediately flew away from the domain after Meng Huo and Long Yuxi climbed onto his back.
"Is that male fox that powerful?"
Meng Huo sighed. "Zhang Fei is still under a hundred years old, but his cultivation has already reached the Celestial God Realm."
"What?" Long Yuxi exclaimed in shock, staring at Meng Huo with wide eyes. "Are you serious? How could he have reached the Celestial God Realm in less than a hundred years?"
"I don’t know for sure," Meng Huo replied with a shake of his head. "However, I can sense the yin qi of countless women in his body, and one of them is Guang Zhiyi’s."
"So, it’s true that Guang Zhiyi is his wife, huh?" Long Yuxi muttered to herself; a glimmer of excitement flashed through her eyes. "Have you tried fighting him before?"
Meng Huo glared at her. "Do you think I’m crazy enough to fight him in front of Guang Zhiyi and that female flame spirit?"
"Aren’t you completely insane?" Long Yuxi replied with a casual shrug. "You already know that the population of this Ancient Realm has significantly decreased, yet you continue to slaughter many of its inhabitants, including the Ancient Nether Race."
"Do you think I slaughtered the Ancient Nether Race for no apparent reason?" Long Yuxi looked at Meng Huo with a serious expression. "I can tell you that the Ancient Nether Race is an evil race, especially when they are consumed by their rage."
Long Yuxi frowned. "Did they lose their minds when they were consumed by their rage?"
"Two people from the Ancient Nether Race massacred the entire population of the True Martial Domain." Meng Huo’s face showed sadness. "When I arrived at that domain, I found a few survivors, but they died shortly after. I checked the domain, and I discovered that people from that race were the perpetrators of the massacre, so I went to their domain and slaughtered them."
Long Yunxi took a deep breath. "You’re as crazy as them! Two people from that race slaughtered the residents of that domain, but you massacred all the members of their race."
"Blood must be paid with blood; a life must be paid with a life," Meng Huo said in a firm tone. "It’s true that only two people from that race were the perpetrators, but you must remember that there were many innocent people in the True Martial Domain. Since they massacred them, I didn’t feel guilty about slaughtering the members of that race."
