The Demon Extermination Sword in Jian Hei’an’s hand suddenly emitted a pitch-black light, carrying the same baleful aura as her two previous techniques.
Jian Hei’an opened her eyes, but they were even darker than before. She took a deep breath and carefully slashed the sword forward, causing a small crack to open in midair.
Huo Ling gasped in shock as she sensed the terrifying aura emanating from the crack, and she immediately moved as Jian Hei’an was about to swing the sword once more.

Jian Hei’an looked at her in confusion, but Huo Ling didn’t say anything more to her.
Huo Ling stretched her hand forward and shot her primordial flame into the crack to repel the terrifying aura emanating from within. Within a few seconds, the crack disappeared by itself, making her breathe a sigh of relief.
"Was that crack just now what I think it was, Ling’er?" Zhang Fei [5] asked with a solemn expression.
"Yes," Huo Ling nodded. "I didn’t expect your sword spirit to be able to open a gap leading to the Lotus Limbo World, Husband. If I don’t stop her, those wandering evil souls will come out from that place, and they will wreak havoc in this domain. The situation will get out of control, and no cultivator in the domain will be able to fight her."
Zhang Fei [5] suddenly had an idea. "Since Jian Hei’an can open a portal connecting us to that place, I don’t need to worry about being trapped there."

"You could say that, Husband." Huo Ling nodded at him. "She’s not older than the primordials, but she’s much older than those ancient demons, including Zhen Mo and Zhen Yin."
"Zhen Mo and Zhen Yin?" Gongsun Zhilan turned to Hua Qianmei. "Why are those two names so familiar?"
Hua Qianmei also found the two names familiar. "If I’m not mistaken, they were the first and strongest ancient demons, but the ancestors of the other races defeated and killed them."
"Ahh!" Gongsun Zhilan clasped her hands. "No wonder their names are so familiar!"
"Dead?" Hua Qianmei and Gongsun Zhilan looked at Huo Ling in confusion. "What if I say that Zhen Mo and Zhen Yin are still alive?"

Gongsun Zhilan agreed with Hua Qianmei; her body couldn’t stop shaking when faced with the aura of the two ancient demons.
