Reaching out his hand, Jiang Ziyi said, "Hold my hand."
The mutants held his hand, and with a pull, they crossed a jelly-like substance.
While Jiao Lizhi and Jin Xuyan were sleeping soundly, a group led by Jiang Ziyi was busy picking fruits in the orchard.

Xie Zhou gestured for them and said, "Your residence and office have been prepared. I will show you around and let you familiarize yourself with the base first. If you have any questions, you can ask me directly."
"Thank you, Commander."
Although Xie Zhou was 6 years younger than her, Wei Yunli didn’t put on airs. She showed him the respect he deserved and didn’t cross the bottom line.
For half of the day, Xie Zhou became the tour guide and showed Wei Yunli and the newly appointed officers the base’s situation. He also explained their future development projects and the progress of their current projects.
After they understood the situation of the base, the group went to the meeting hall and held their first meeting. Besides introducing the new Vice Commander and officials, they also discussed their plans for the upcoming winter.
Sitting on the left side of the main seat, Wei Yunli said, "Commander Xun sent over a total of 150,000 weapons and 2 million rounds of ammunition to improve the base’s defenses."
"We also currently lack ability-users, so a total of 10,000 ability-users will come in the next few days. Besides the ability-users, 20,000 guards will also be sent over before the end of the month."

"As for how to dispatch the guards and ability-users, Commander Xie will have full authority on this matter," Wei Yunli added with a smile.

After the assistant distributed a folder to everyone, he said, "This is the information regarding our base and the current ongoing projects. From now on, all matters regarding the base management will be handled by Vice Commander Wei."
The moment he finished his words, Wei Yunli looked at him, speechless. Wen Hanli and Xun Che had indeed told her before she came to this place that all of the management matters would be left to her.
But she expected Xie Zhou to at least hesitate or reject this idea. After all, the right to manage the base was equivalent to having the power to control everyone’s life and death, so she had prepared several plans to make Xie Zhou agree to relinquish his power.
However, imagination and reality were vastly different. Not only did he not refuse, he even seemed eager to throw this power to her. Did Xun Che and Wen Hanli hide something from her?
She was sure that these three men must be plotting something against her, but Wei Yunli had no evidence.
