"If what Captain Jin said is true, then the Morozov family must have something to do with the mutants. Their goals might not only be to destroy Lunar City, but to take over the base and eliminate me and my people," Erast Tolstoy said with a sigh.
"That bastard! As the Great General, he didn’t kill the zombies but killed his own people instead! He is worse than a beast!" one of the officers cursed.
"Sir Leonard, don’t insult beasts by comparing them to him," Andrei Stroganova said suddenly.
As soon as he said this, the tense atmosphere suddenly broke, and everyone was speechless.
Lustin Volkov let out a sigh and said, "Since the situation has reached this point, everyone should accept the fact that the Morozov family has betrayed the Empire."
"In the future, it’s better to keep your guard up when you meet anyone who has a connection with them. It’s better to be safe than sorry."
Hearing this, everyone could only nod in agreement.
Even if they didn’t want to believe it, they had heard and seen how the Morozov family acted in the past year. If they continued to live in their own illusion, they might lose their lives without realizing it one day.
