Chapter 798: New Categorization ( 9 )

After a moment of silence, Mo Junjie stared at Du Beiye and asked, "Why did you come here?"

"My home planet was attacked by the Matkuna Race. My sister and I used a space portal to escape, but the portal was destroyed just after we jumped in."

"Without the portal, we couldn’t control time and space. That’s how my sister got stranded in this place. I followed her signal and came to this planet as well."

Mo Junjie nodded but said nothing.

Seeing that he didn’t get angry or mock her for lying, Du Beiye continued, "Both my sister and I were born from cloning pods. Our DNA was artificially created. In this place, we should be categorized as mutants."

At this point, Mo Junjie’s eyes flashed briefly before returning to normal. He thought for a long time before he said, "So, your situation is the same as Rong Mo’er and Feng Xiu."

Du Beiye thought for a while before she shook her head. "Well, you can say it’s the same, but also different."

"What do you mean by that?" he asked.

"While they are mutants like my sister and me, they were the result of a DNA mutation due to taking medicine. As for my sister and me, we were born as mutants. Based on talent and physical condition, they couldn’t even be compared to us."

"Even if they were ranked as D-rank and C-rank based on their combat power, their innate talent was only F-grade. Both my sister’s and my innate talents are SSS-grade."

"Borrowing your planet’s dictionary, we should be one in a hundred million geniuses. In the entire Tarakam Civilization, we are the most perfect clones ever born from the Shrotam’s DNA."

"Is that why you can use that mobile suit?" Mo Junjie asked.

Du Beiye nodded and explained, "Rather than saying that I can use the mobile suit, it’s more accurate to say that we control the Great Systems. The mobile suit is only a small part of my system’s function and is included in battle mode."

"The Great Systems?" The more he listened, the more shocked Mo Junjie became.

After explaining further, Du Beiye no longer felt worried or anxious, and her words flowed more naturally.

"My system’s name is Nishkrayan, code name Krayan. Its primary function is to assist me in battle and military expansion. The system includes weapons research and offensive mechanisms."

"My sister’s system is known as Gaia. Its primary function is to ensure the survival of the human race. The system focuses on agriculture, the medical field, and defensive mechanisms."

Mo Junjie processed the information for a moment and asked, "So you are saying your sister can’t use the mobile suit?"

Du Beiye nodded and replied, "Although my sister can’t use a mobile suit and has a different battle mode, she can activate the system barrier."

Talking about the barrier, Mo Junjie recalled the blue barrier that saved their lives during the Lunar Base battle. "Was the barrier at the Lunar Base your sister’s barrier?"

"The barrier is now completely under my sister’s command, but the price of using it is too high. Back in the Lunar Base, my sister went unconscious because she overused her energy," Du Beiye nodded.

"When we no longer have energy, we will fall into a deep slumber. By then, we won’t be able to wake up unless we recover our energy and reach the minimum requirement to activate the system," she added solemnly.

"Can’t you just absorb crystal cores to recover your energy?" Mo Junjie asked.

Du Beiye let out a sigh and replied, "If it were that simple, it would be great. Unfortunately, the energy contained in crystal cores is impure, and the amount is just a drop in the ocean compared to what’s needed to activate the system."

Hearing this, Mo Junjie frowned deeply. "So you are saying you might fall into a deep sleep without warning one day?"

"There is a possibility. So, unless necessary, I won’t use my energy. After all, my energy is different from the energy used by ability-users. It’s hard to recover my energy on this planet," Du Beiye said casually.

Mo Junjie stared at her for a long time without speaking. He never expected her strength to come with such a heavy price. After a long silence, he said, "Since that’s the case, don’t use your system to run the blood tests."

Du Beiye was taken aback by his words and asked, "How did you know about my plan?"

Mo Junjie reached out and patted her head lightly. "I guessed." After a brief pause, he added, "Anyway, just listen to me. Don’t use your system unless you have no other choice."

Noticing his concern, Du Beiye grinned and said, "You don’t have to worry about me running out of energy."

"My sister gave me a lot of Sthanam crystals. With so many crystals, not to mention running simple blood tests, I can even use my mobile suit for several weeks without running out of energy."

Hearing this, Mo Junjie shook his head. He wanted to persuade her further, but thinking about the number of samples, he finally gave in. "Alright. Stop before you run out of energy."

"I know my limit," Du Beiye nodded.

Not long after their secret conversation ended, a group of people arrived with the blood samples. They placed the boxes in the corner of the room before leaving.

"Alright, it’s time to work," Du Beiye said as she opened the boxes. "Junjie, help me put a drop of blood on the slides."

"Okay."

The two of them worked with tacit understanding, and soon hundreds of microscope slides were laid out on the long table.

"Krayan, scan the blood and run the DNA tests," Du Beiye said.

Following her command, Krayan scanned the samples. A minute later, detailed reports appeared on the blue screen.

"Connect the system to the printer. Print all the reports."

A few seconds later, the printer immediately began working. While Mo Junjie cleared the slides and prepared the next batch, Du Beiye handled the paperwork and changed the ink cartridges.
