Seeing them, Liu Dingchen walked over and greeted them with a smile. "Captain Jin, Comrade Jiao, Professor Mo, Comrade Du."

They returned his greeting, and Mo Junjie asked, "Where is my sister?"

"Comrade Mo Lingshen is currently sleeping in her room. This way, please."

Liu Dingchen led them to the 3rd floor and knocked on Mo Lingshen’s door. After a moment, the door was opened.

The moment Mo Junjie saw his sister, he reached out to hold her shoulders. He turned her over to check her from head to toe. Afterward, he used his energy to check her internal organs.

Only when he was sure that she was uninjured did he rub her head and ask, "Why didn’t you find me when you saw me before?"

Mo Lingshen lowered her head and replied obediently, "Brother, I was wrong. I’m sorry."

Looking at how his sister apologized so readily, Mo Junjie frowned deeply but couldn’t bring himself to scold her harshly.

From the moment she was born, he was the one who took care of her. Even if he was only 5 years older than her, he was not only her brother but also the father figure in her life.

He felt responsible for her current situation. After all, it was because of his arrogance and carelessness that she was harmed for the rest of her life.

Taking a deep breath, he let out a long sigh and said helplessly, "You always apologize, but when did you really change?"

Liu Dingchen was surprised to see the two of them interact like normal siblings.

After the brief conversation, Mo Junjie finally introduced his sister to his team members. "Everyone, this is my sister, Mo Lingshen."

"Shenshen, this is my Captain, Jin Xuyan. This is the Captain’s fiancée, Jiao Lizhi. You can call her Sister-in-law. And this is my best friend, Du Beiye."

Hearing this, Mo Lingshen knew that these people were her brother’s close friends. If they were not important, he wouldn’t bother to introduce them to her.

So she smiled and greeted them sweetly, "Captain, Sister-in-law, Sister Beiye."

Looking at her bright smile, Liu Dingchen felt that his eyes were almost blinded. He even doubted himself at this moment and wondered if this girl was the same person who treated him like air.

Jiao Lizhi liked her the moment she saw her. So she reached out to hold her hand and said, "Good girl. Since you are Brother Mo’s sister, you will be my sister. In the future, if you need anything, just let me know."

Mo Lingshen nodded and said, "Thank you, Sister-in-law."

Jin Xuyan checked his watch and said, "It’s not early anymore. We should leave now."

When Liu Dingchen heard this, he couldn’t help but ask, "Captain Jin, why don’t you stay for 1 night and leave tomorrow? The snow is getting heavier. It will be dangerous to fly a chopper in this weather."

"No need," Jin Xuyan refused. He took out several folders from his backpack and handed them to him while saying, "These are documents from Commander Xun. Give them to Brother Chen."

Liu Dingchen nodded and accepted the folders.

Since they had finished their business, the 5 of them left the base. When they were outside the base, they held hands, and Jiao Lizhi activated the space portal.

In less than 15 seconds, they returned to Jiao Lizhi and Jin Xuyan’s condominium.

Mo Lingshen was too stunned to speak when she realized that she had just teleported from the Lunar Base to this place. Since this was the first time she had done a space jump and she had a weak body, she felt nauseous.

Mo Junjie let her rest for a while before he took her back to his apartment.

Before they left, Du Beiye tugged at the hem of his t-shirt and said, "Junjie, bring your sister to the laboratory tomorrow. I have a way to fix her."

"Okay," he nodded.

After leaving Jiao Lizhi and Jin Xuyan’s home, Mo Junjie led his sister to the 10th floor. He opened the door and gestured for her to go inside.

Now that there were only the two of them, Mo Junjie said, "The smaller bedroom is for you. There are also some clothes and daily necessities in your bedroom. Go take a shower and come out for dinner."

Mo Lingshen nodded and went to the second bedroom. She looked around and saw nothing but basic furniture.

Opening the wardrobe, she saw rows of clothes for teenagers. The style was youthful, but the colors were in darker shades. Even if she wore them, she wouldn’t look like a young girl.

She took a sweater, wool trousers, and a set of new undergarments. Judging from the style, she knew that these were prepared by her brother.

When she went to the bathroom, she saw rows of women’s products, including skincare. She never expected her brother to be this attentive and thought of his closeness to Du Beiye.

While she took a shower, her mind calculated the possibilities of her brother having a girlfriend. But even after she finished her shower, she still thought that with her brother’s EQ, the chance of him becoming an immortal was higher than him getting a girlfriend.

Soon after she came out of her room, Mo Lingshen walked to the dining room. Seeing her brother place a pot of chicken soup on the table, she thought she was hallucinating.

The renowned cold, ruthless, and arrogant young master was cooking dinner. If she told those people about this, they might treat her as a crazy woman.

Noticing that his sister was just standing there staring at him, Mo Junjie raised his eyebrows and asked, "What are you doing there? Sit down and eat."

Hearing this, Mo Lingshen finally took a seat and looked at the food on the table. After a moment of hesitation, she finally asked, "Brother, since when did you learn to cook?"

"These are not my cooking."

When she heard this, Mo Lingshen heaved a sigh of relief.
