A Demon Lord’s Tale: Dungeons, Monster Girls, and Heartwarming Bliss

Chapter 593.2

Chapter 593.2

I was not particularly knowledgeable about such things, but this research base had a modern feel that reminded me of my past life.

One could get a sense of the high level of technology possessed by the Sheep Horn Clan from this.

And when we actually landed nearby, we could see just how huge the Velmore Forest Ruins were.

I thought it was huge from the air, but from below here the grandeur was even more apparent, and I couldn't help but think how they managed to build ruins of such size.

It was twice as large as the ancient ruins I'd discovered in the Demon Realm Forest before, and what's more, those ruins had been dead for a long time…

The place was guarded by an Ultimate Golem Weapon, but I remember very well that the place had lost almost all of its shape and was more like a cave now.

But these ruins were probably still alive.

Most of the decorations had been wiped away, and there were strange depressions that suggested statues might have once been there, broken pillars, and some objects that had now become bare stone, but the overall shape was still intact, which was a clear indication of maintenance.

This was particularly evident from my dungeon's [Map] function.

This place didn't show up on my [Map]… just like how there was a section of the capital of the Erlin Confederation that didn't show up on my map.

So it was confirmed that there was something here.

I was very curious, but it was impossible to enter the ruins like this, so after helping with the loading, I was guided to the settlement I had seen earlier.

There must have been more than fifty tents lined up, so it could be comparable to be a small village in terms of scale.

It seemed they were lending us one of the larger tents, and when we went inside, it was interesting.

"Wow, this is spectacular." (Yuki)

"…It's like a secret base, and it's exciting." (Enne)

"Well, Enne. It's just a normal house." (Eldogalia)

Although it was simple, it had all the furniture one needed.

There was a big bed, a plumbing system, and even a kitchen.

It was more impressive than I expected.

"In research, it is important to have food, clothing, and shelter. We tend to prioritize our desire for knowledge above all else, but even so, our brains won't work unless our body is performing well." (Eldogalia)

Layla, who had probably used a tent like this before, began preparing for her stay with a familiar look.

"I see… so your people also seek comfort along with your thirst for knowledge." (Yuki)

"That's right." (Eldogalia)

"… I think I understand why everyone in the Sheep Horn clan can do housework pretty well." (Enne)

Indeed. I heard that Emyuu could do all the housework and cooking by herself if she wanted to.

They must be extremely serious about their research.

So, to concentrate on their research, they made sure that other chores were done efficiently.

"Okay, Sakuya. The adventure will continue tomorrow! This is where we'll be sleeping tonight!" (Yuki)

"Ahh, uuh!" (Sakuya)

So, first, we prepared for our stay and showed various things to our son, who was curious about this unfamiliar place, and the first day of our arrival passed by.
