Chapter 1802: Suppressing Nine Snakes!

The Absolute Resonance Halo was turning in reverse behind Li Luo, emanating destructive might. He stepped into the sky, making a beeline towards Nine Snakes. Then Li Luo's smile faded and his gaze turned icy. "Countless Kings sacrificed themselves to ensure my resurrection, each death buying merely a few seconds. I'll offer up a Divine Fruit Grand Devil King's life to honor their sacrifice!"

After his most recent resurrection, he could sense that over twenty Kings of the East Divine Continent had fallen and half of the rest were critically injured. They had truly suffered enormous casualties while attempting to protect him.

Of those who had self-detonated, some had managed to keep their bodies relatively intact as it was the explosion of their crowns that generated the bulk of the force. As a result, he could attempt reviving those individuals, if their will still persisted. Unfortunately, those who were left without even a corpse could not be saved. As a result, Nine Snakes would bear the brunt of his revenge.

"Your lifedeath resonance has already fallen to the middle ninth-grade. The way I see it, if you self-destruct again, you won't be able to resurrect anymore," said Nine Snakes, its expression ferociously twisted. The Divine Fruit between its brows began to pulse with Divine Fruit Authority, dying the sky red.

Li Luo didn't bother responding. His body rapidly expanded, turning into a Heavenly Dragon. Once again, he bore the wheel with his body and rushed towards Nine Snakes. They knew that this signified that Nine Snakes' Divine Fruit Authority had shattered into pieces, scattering across the land. Nine Snakes' life force had run out, causing it to be unable to maintain its body, and thus the Divine Fruit collapsed with it.

Strictly speaking, Nine Snakes had not completely died. This was because its Divine Fruit Authority had turned into fragments that now littered the East Divine Continent. If another Divine Fruit Grand Devil King came, they could technically gather the pieces and allow it to be reborn.

"Greetings, House Lord!" Yuan Qing and the other elders who were guarding the headquarters hurriedly bowed in deference and respect upon seeing him. In these years, House Luolan had limited its presence to within the Xia Kingdom, not deigning to expand. This was intentional on the part of Li Luo and Jiang Qing'e as well. If they tried to grow their faction, even Dukes would probably barge in, merely to stand guard at their house doors.

Even though Li Luo was looking at them with a warm and gentle expression, his sheer presence felt oppressive to them, simply because they were no longer in the same realm of mortality. The two old friends couldn't relax before him as a result.

"Sister Lingqing, Sister Cai Wei, are you alright?" he asked with a smile.

The two hurriedly shook their heads. "We are too weak to participate in the battles. All we can do is to support the backlines and refine pills, spirit liquids, and purifying lights to help. It's nothing much."

Li Luo nodded. "That's more than enough."

Cai Wei bit her lip, summoning up her courage before softly asking, "Do you know how Qing'e is doing?"

Li Luo turned in the direction of Endless Gale Divine Continent, spreading his senses out. He could feel a vast divine and sacred aura rising. It was very familiar, so it had to be Jiang Qing'e. However, he sensed that there was a different oppressive pressure contained within the holy aura. This caused his eyes to narrow slightly. It seemed her Quasi Tenth-grade light resonance had taken another step forward in its awakening.

"Sister Qing'e is fine. She's even stronger than me, so she won't have as hard of a time," Li Luo explained with a grin.

Then his body flickered, reappearing in the sky. He waved his hand, and an ancient banner appeared. With Nine Snakes' downfall and its Divine Fruit scattered across the East Divine Continent, the Immemorial World Divine Devil Trapping Formation was able to function at full power.

As he held the flag, he inspected his own resonances. He frowned when he noticed that his lifedeath resonance had fallen down to the lower ninth-grade. If he were to resurrect one more time, it might drop even further. Resurrecting again wouldn't be possible with an eighth-grade lifedeath resonance.

"As expected, even cheat methods have consequences." Li Luo pouted helplessly. He would have to figure out how he could evolve his lifedeath resonance back to its original grade; otherwise, he wouldn't be able to mess around with self-detonations anymore.

He then waved the flag, fully activating the Immemorial World Divine Devil Trapping Formation. Worldly natural energy condensed, turning into countless ancient mountains. When the mountains formed, Nine Snakes' Divine Fruit fragments were all sealed off, preventing it from corrupting other living creatures and allowing it to escape.
