Chapter 1803: Treating Injuries

The two ladies, Lu Qing'er and Zhen Linshuang, were still engaged in vicious battles. Lu Qing'er was single-handedly fending off two Grand Devil Kings, one of which was at the same realm as her, having two Authorities. As a result, she was under an immense amount of pressure.

In the beginning, she was barely managing to fend them off. However, the Acheronian Sun's boost caused the Grand Devil Kings to be greatly enhanced and thus, she was eventually forced into a disadvantageous position.

The Genesis Seed between her brows was constantly burning with icy flames, pulsing with the grand power of Authority. Her snow-white skin was filled with cracks, causing her to resemble a damaged piece of porcelain. However, she was exceptionally calm. The boundless Ice Authority was holding the two Grand Devil King's' frenzied assaults at bay.

Lu Qing'er wasn't attacking, she was merely holding off her opponents coolly. This was because she knew that the situation on the East Divine Continent had been reversed from the moment Nine Snakes had fallen to Li Luo's hands.

The ones that were now rushing for time were her opponents. Li Luo's exceptional battle achievements had caused even Lu Qing'er to feel shocked despite her sealed emotions. This was the first time in thousands of years that a Heavenly Emperor had managed to seal a Divine Fruit Grand Devil King without sacrificing their own life. This was a feat that even Heavenly Emperor Jiang might not be able to replicate.

Li Luo didn't make Lu Qing'er wait for long. When the Immemorial World Divine Devil Trapping Formation on the East Divine Continent fully activated, two ancient array flags that were as large as entire mountain ranges descended. Dark dilapidated ruins could be seen on the banners, as though they were places of exile that one could not escape from once trapped.

These were the Divine Devil Trapping Formation Flags! Li Luo was now capable of activating the Immemorial World Divine Devil Trapping Formation to protect the entire continent.

The formation flags descended towards the Grand Devil Kings that were fighting Lu Qing'er and immediately ripped apart the power of Authority that surrounded them. The Grand Devil Kings turned pale as they hastily roused all their strength in an attempt to resist.

Lu Qing'er wasn't planning to give them any chance to escape, however. Her mouth opened and she blew out a gust of icy blue fog. Her complexion immediately turned even more pale and her face became as white as snow, and the Genesis Seed between her eyebrows dimmed. That single breath contained all of the remaining Ice Authority she possessed.

Wherever the icy fog passed through, the area was turned into a land of eternal frost. The once lush and verdant mountain ranges had transformed into shining icebergs in the blink of an eye. Both Grand Devil Kings were enveloped in frost as well, freezing even their Authority. As the Devil Trapping Formation Flags fell, they crashed viciously into the enemies who were temporarily robbed of the ability to react.

Weng!

The flags then transformed into two towering stone statues that rose into the clouds. The majestic statues were like gods, with handsome faces and deep eyes that looked down upon the East Divine Continent. They looked exactly like Li Luo!

The statues immediately buried the two roaring Grand Devil Kings into the depths of the earth. At the same time, the power contained within the statues covered the entire region, putting them behind multiple seals.

Killing a Heavenly Emperor was an arduous task, as the Authority they controlled allowed them to shape the world as they saw fit. This also meant that they could easily divert worldly natural energy towards them, constantly replenishing and rebuilding their body. Even an ordinary Heavenly Emperor had to have their power of Authority completely ground into nothingness before they were truly killed.

Li Luo, on the other hand, didn't have the time to deal with these enemies. He would wait for the battle over the divine continents to end before he would come back and deal with these cancerous foes.

The glorious statues stood tall and imposing, overlooking all of the living like a divine miracle. As Lu Qing'er gazed at the familiar visage of the statues, her lips twitched slightly. She instantly knew that this was the result of Li Luo's twisted sense of humor.

That said, with the two Grand Devil Kings having been sealed, Lu Qing'er could finally heave a sigh of relief. A wave of weakness washed across her body as she coughed violently, causing frosty blue blood to slide down the sides of her lips. When her blood dripped onto the ground, it caused wondrous frozen lotuses to bloom across the frigid soil, turning the area into a beautiful sea of lotuses.

"Are you alright, Qing'er?" asked Li Luo, full of worry and concern.

She wiped away the blood from her lips and gazed at the frozen lotuses as she gently shook her head. Li Luo could sense that her Genesis Seed and Authority had been greatly harmed. She had pushed herself to the limit during this vicious battle, putting her life on the line to hold back the two Grand Devil Kings, creating much needed space to ensure that he only had to deal with Nine Snakes. In fact, it was clear she had been seeking a path of mutual destruction with her enemies.

He looked at her beautiful yet aloof face, then he stretched his hand out. "Let me help you heal your wounds."

Lu Qing'er glanced at his outstretched palm and pursed her lips. "I'm fine."

Li Luo didn't bother arguing and directly grabbed her hand. At the same time, the Absolute Resonance Halo began to turn and the lifedeath resonance was activated, causing vast amounts of Life Authority to pour into her body. Doing this allowed him to understand precisely how terrible her injuries were. They had been sealed away temporarily by her Ice Authority, but without appropriate treatment, they would undoubtedly flare up once the frost seals dissipated. Even though she was a Heavenly Emperor, they would undoubtedly overwhelm her.

The power of Authority pushed endless life force throughout her body, gradually washing away the traces of injuries from the clashes of Authority. Under the influence of the intense life force, even the frosty Lu Qing'er felt a trace of warmth rise through her body, causing her expression to turn gentle.

In the end, she no longer struggled and quietly allowed Li Luo to do as he wished. After the time needed for an incense stick to burn, he completed her treatment and let her go.

"Thank you," said Lu Qing'er, lowering her eyes slightly.

Li Luo grinned and was about to respond when the void ripped open. A Heavenly Dragon ridden with injuries sped through the sky, eventually transforming into a tall and graceful woman. Zhen Linshuang had arrived. It was because of his intervention that she had been able to seal away the Grand Devil King she had been locked in combat against. At this point in time, all of the Grand Devil Kings on the East Divine Continent had been dealt with.

Zhen Linshuang stared at Li Luo feverishly. Undisguised reverence and desire could be seen in her eyes. She licked her cherry-red lips before he said, "Master, you're truly amazing."

Her expression was extremely submissive, a far cry from the tyrannical figure she posed when they had first met. Li Luo was completely shellshocked upon hearing her address him that way. Meanwhile, Lu Qing'er had a quizzical and judging look in her eyes.

Li Luo coughed and forced a smile, "Chieftain Zhen, stop joking around."

Would she never forget what happened in the Dragon's Abyss? It had all stemmed from a misunderstanding, and she had never let it go.

Zhen Linshuang, on the other hand, didn't seem to care. "The Dragon Race has always cherished and respected experts. Calling you the number one expert in the world wouldn't be an exaggeration, considering the fact that you suppressed a Divine Fruit Grand Devil King. With that in mind, I wouldn't reject the idea of you being my master."

She paused for a moment before saying what was really on her mind. "If you want to leave behind an heir for the Dragon Race, that would be even better."

Li Luo's eyes twitched. This dragon woman was still lusting over his body and bloodline! Ignoring her, he changed the subject. "Your injuries are heavy. Let me aid you."

Zhen Linshuang then took the initiative to stretch out her hand. Because of her height, she even began to drop to her knees to make sure he wasn't displeased.

"There's no need for that," he immediately said as he dryly coughed. With a thought, he grew to tens of feet tall, taller than Zhen Linshuang by a good bit.

"I can also grow larger," he said with a smile.

Zhen Linshuang's gaze turned fiery. "What a magnificent body!"

Lu Qing'er, who had no choice but to listen to their interaction, could only sigh deeply and remain expressionless.

Li Luo forced yet another smile and started his treatment. A while later, after the healing was complete, he struggled to shake off Zhen Linshuang's grasp.

"Although I know your injuries aren't completely healed, the battle continues to rage. I hope that the two of you can head to the other divine continents to provide assistance. I'll first head towards the Endless Gale Divine Continent," said Li Luo.

Lu Qing'er knew that he wanted to check in on Jiang Qing'e. She asked, "Do you need me to follow you?"

"There's no need," he responded, waving his hand.

Without further ado, he vanished, piercing through the void in a stream of light. He moved at unimaginable speed, heading towards the Endless Gale Divine Continent. When he reappeared, his gaze swept across the land, which was filled with light. He then turned his attention towards the source of the light.

A tall, slender woman radiating an indescribable sense of oppression like a goddess of light was slowly approaching. When their eyes met, his heart skipped a beat. This was because those familiar, deep eyes were filled with indifference, completely disregarding the world around her.
