Chapter 1969 Return To The Gnome World

Chapter 1969 Return To The Gnome World

True Dawn.

Grey was hit by a splitting headache, with no choice, he hurriedly canceled the mind control over the Seventh Prince as he clutched his head in pain. He had overexerted his Mental Energy and it was taking its toll on him.

He hurriedly took out the tonic he had with him that could help calm his head. A cooling sensation spread across his body, specifically his head as the aching he felt reduced significantly. Observing his condition, he knew he could not continue this method, if not, he would endanger himself while also exposing his vital piece. He was lucky enough that the Seventh Prince was in the Royal Palace, so he hurriedly took him back to his room before cancelling the technique.

'Looks like I'll have to make a trip to the Gnome World.'

He would make the trip either way, he just wanted to make sure he found the Principal before doing so. Sadly, things have not gone as planned, and even though he found Brown, there have been no sightings of the Principal.

He used the rest of the day to recover his Mental Energy before once again plunging into the mind of the Seventh Prince. Since he would be going to the Gnome World, he needed to take Brown out of that place to make sure he could at least reunite with her. At the thought of Brown, he facepalmed. He has been searching for the Principal everywhere with no clue when the biggest clue was right there; Brown.

Brown was captured at the same time as the Principal, so she would definitely know where the Principal was taken even though they were not taken to the same place. At least he would be able to start from where she directed him.

Wasting no time, he controlled the Seventh Prince to take Brown away from the cell, taking her to a place where only he could have access to her. While taking Brown away, she showed hostility towards the Seventh Prince. Grey knew there was no point in trying to communicate with her in this state since she would only see him as the enemy. He gave up on the idea and did not bother with the hostility directed to him. Brown was secured, therefore, there was no way she could be a threat to his life.

Completing this, he did not bother with her again and sent the Seventh Prince back to the Palace. The place where Brown was kept was outside the Palace, and Grey was certain he was not followed.

….

True Dawn.

With a plan in mind now, Grey had a clear aim when going to the Gnome World.

Opening his eyes, he stabilized his breathing before standing up. There was no time to waste, the sooner he went to the Gnome World, the better his chances of locating the Principal before he faces any danger. If anyone like the Gnome he found in the marketplace were to buy him, his life would be in serious danger. It would be difficult for those people the Gnome was experimenting on to recover, adding to the fact that the Principal was already in dire straits due to the injury he picked up all those years ago, he was not optimistic he would survive such an ordeal.

This time, when Grey stepped out of the room, Reynolds, Alice, and Klaus were seated together at a round table.

They were attracted to the sound the door made when he opened it. Seeing his appearance, they were taken aback. Even Klaus showed a reaction.

"What happened to you?" Alice was the first to ask with worry.

Klaus and Reynolds also had concern all over their faces.

Grey gave a wry smile before explaining, "I've been searching for the Principal in the Gnome World for the past days."

Hearing this, expectations arose in their hearts as they looked at him in anticipation. Seeing his wry smile, they understood it was unsuccessful. Klaus dropped his head, his eyes filled with sorrow.

"I haven't found the Principal yet, but I found Brown. I'll be making a trip to the Gnome World to see if Brown will have any idea concerning the whereabouts of the Principal. They were all taken from the same place, so I'm certain if she can tell me the last place she saw him, I'll be able to move from there." He told them his plan.

"You're going to the Gnome World?" Chris's voice came from outside. Pushing the door, Chris walked into the building. His gaze was locked on Grey.

He was walking over when he overheard Grey and the others' conversation. Never did he think Grey would be bold enough to want to venture into the Gnome World. What he found even more stupendous was that Grey found Brown. He was a hundred percent confident Grey had been staying indoors since the day of the attack, so how did he find Brown?

Grey was not surprised by his Teacher's arrival, he sensed his presence as he approached. Bowing to greet his Teacher, he told him about his mind control ability. He did not see his Teacher as an outsider, and since he already knew of his multiple elements, there was no harm in telling him about this.

Hearing this, shock was written all over Chris's face. This was not something he thought was possible. Only now did realization dawn on him. He had always wondered how Grey was able to get the Gnome he captured on his way to Red City to report such a vital piece of information. Most Gnomes would rather die than to reveal such information, especially when they know they were going to be killed in the end.

"Wait, so you mean to say the supposed future ruler of the Gnome Race is under your control?" Chris asked, dumbfounded. If Grey was controlling any random Gnome it would not have been this shocking. However, the Gnome that was under his control was none other than who would become the future Emperor of the Gnome Race. Doesn't that mean that as long as this Gnome takes over, the real ruler would be Grey?
