Chapter 1949: Visiting Old Friend

Tang Shaoyang enjoyed it more than he thought. The sword fighting without using any skills, just pure sword fighting. He thought it would be boring, and he did it just for the sake of PR as his wives suggested. He ended up sparring against more than half of the students.

"That’s it for today! I will come back if I have more time," Tang Shaoyang called it off, not because he was tired or anything, but because his daughters were here.

Tang Xiulan, Li Yue, and Li Jiaying’s school was over, and the three had been waiting for an hour. He did not end the session early because the three seemed to enjoy watching him. They cheered him from the side, and maybe they were the reason why the sparring had been enjoyable.

Tang Xiulan immediately stood up and almost stumbled, but the Green Dragon, Nunu was quick and caught Tang Xiulan’s clothes, catching her before falling. It seemed like a daily occurrence, given how quickly Nunu acted.

Tang Shaoyang squatted down, and to his surprise, his daughter made a jump. It was a two-meter jump, and her jump was quite high for someone her age. He was surprised, but still caught her. He wanted to tell his daughter to be more careful, a little bit of scolding, but he was reluctant to do so with how much time he spent with her daughter.

There was not much time he could spend with her daughter, and he did not want to fill that time with scolding. He just shook his head and put her on the back of his head. Her tiny legs coiled around her neck as she held his hair tightly and she let out a small laughter.

Then he carried Li Jiaying and Li Yue on his chest as usual as he was heading out of the training ground.

"You are so cool, Daddy!"

Tang Xiulan tried to mimic her father’s hand movement when he wielded the sword, swinging her right arm erratically in the air.

"No, it’s like this," Li Yue tried to correct Xiulan, and Li Jiaying seemed to have her own version as well. The three little girls debated the right movement as they left the training ground. Everything was watched by the trainees and also the scout team.

Tang Shaoyang did not join their debate as he threw five GC to Glodden who floated not far from them. The small golden creature had a solemn look on his face all the time. Acting as a professional as a personal bodyguard.

However, his expression changed the moment five shiny gold coins flew toward him. His golden figure blurred and caught the coins in the air before returning to his original spot. There was something different about him, the silly grin on his face as his small hand was struggling to hold the five coins because it was too thick for him.

"I have heard all the rumors about the E— His Majesty, from the good to the bad ones, but I never heard the rumor about this side of him..." Sam Joe whispered to his friends.

The Joes Family sat at the corner of the training ground as they watched the other had a spar with the Emperor. They saw the daughters when the three arrived. How could they not see them when they had three infant dragons following them around. Not just a dragon, there was also the rumored unique monster that became their personal bodyguard.

The rumor about the Golden Imp beating people who used their Detection skills on it. That was the rumor, and they had confirmed the rumor because the people who got beaten were from the same batch as them. There was nothing serious about the beating, but it would leave small palm marks on their cheeks for one to two weeks.

"Ssshhh, you are too loud, Sam."

John was afraid that someone would listen to them. It was not wise to gossip about the Emperor in a public place like this. They also heard the rumor of the TEID "teaching" a lesson to people who spread groundless rumors about the Emperor.

Sam got closer to his friends, "We have confirmed that His Majesty is not tyrant as we thought he would be, and I do believe he’s not unreasonable as the rumors said either. He even gave us a Legendary Treasure Chest!"

Sam was so excited when he mentioned the last part. His eyes twinkled like stars.

John, Sam, and Cody rolled their eyes at their friend. Among the four, Sam was the number one doubter of staying in the Tang Empire, let alone joining the Tarrior. He has changed one hundred and eighty degrees now.

The Joes Family who initially moved to the Tang Empire to join the Adventurer Guild changed their mind and tried to join the Tang Empire. There was no reason not to join the Tang Empire with all the benefits they received despite the strict rules within.

They enjoyed one of the benefits, taught by a sword Grandmaster and learning the Sword Mastery. Not only that, they managed to meet the Emperor and also received a treasure chest.

In their mercenary days, it would be a huge haul if they got an Epic Treasure Chest, and they got a Legendary Treasure Chest today. Amy, Cody, and John would not be surprised if Sam started to worship His Majesty from now on.

Tang Shaoyang furrowed his brow when he felt something weird in his sleep. His nose was wet and someone tried to bite his nose, but his teeth slid down with how hard his skin was. Despite the failed attempts to bite his nose, the perpetrator did not give up and kept trying.

He opened his eyes and found the culprit, Tang Xiulan. She was half-asleep, holding his cheek and trying to bite his nose. Her saliva dripped into his nose, the reason why his nose was wet early in the morning.

He caught the girl and raised her to the air. Tang Xiulan’s mouth was still moving, still trying to bite something even though there was nothing. His sleepy eyes immediately became wide open and looked to the side.

Tang Shaoyang was relieved that he did not leave his wife naked. Ava and Elinova were no longer on the bed, and Li Shuang’s naked body was covered in a blanket. It would be hard to explain if his daughter asked him why he and Li Shuang were naked, and it was still too early for s*x education for his daughter.

He put his pants on and carried his daughter in his arms, and she was trying to bite his bulging arm muscle this time.

"What are you dreaming about?" He could not help but be curious about what her daughter dreamed when he saw the bliss on her face even though his teeth failed to bite his muscle.

Tang Shaoyang woke her up in the bathroom, and they had a session of brushing their teeth together. They washed their faces and went out.

Ava, Elin, Li Jiaying, and Li Yue were waiting for them outside with breakfast. He even found Glodden, having his own seat and plate with a bloody steak. The Golden Imp stared at his steak rapaciously.

The small monster looked up at his master with an accusatory glance, and Tang Shaoyang immediately realized why. They were waiting for him to start the breakfast.

"You don’t have to wait for me."

The small monster agreed with him, but Ava disagreed with him and started his 101 lectures about etiquettes or something. He dozed off as he enjoyed the foot, but it looked like Glodden seemed to be afraid of Ava and Elin for some reason. He did not start to eat until he received the green light from his two wives.

The breakfast was amazing, ten out of ten. Then he left the building to send his daughters to their school. Tang Shaoyang enjoyed his time as a normal father who delivered his daughters to school.

The three girls ran off when they arrived at the school, but Tang Xiulan immediately returned to him right after. The girl motioned him to squat down, and he listened. Tang Xiulan kissed his cheeks before chasing after her sisters into the school.

Tang Shaoyang grinned ear to ear as his heart filled with happiness. He stood there for a moment, enjoying the moment. Then he turned around and put on his cloak before people swarmed him.

"Hmmm, what should I do now?" He muttered in a low voice.

Tang Shaoyang could return to where Zaneos taught his students, or he could visit someone else, Zowen.

"Let’s visit Zowen first and learn more about magic."

He considered a magic-related class for his next class, and he also had one free reward for a class as well. He could not make the decision before because of too many options. That was why he wanted to visit Zowen, learning more magic, and whether he could apply more magic into his fighting style. He headed toward the Magic Tower which was in the academy complex as well.
