Chapter 2081: Let the Realm Knows

Chapter 2081: Let the Realm Knows

Arion didn’t get mad at Tang Shaoyang’s reaction. He turned toward the eight leaders from the Ten Stars Accord, "I tried, but it seems like the Shadow Star truly has angered him."

He took three steps back, standing behind Clementine. As if he had done everything he could, while in fact he did the bare minimum. He didn’t even reprimand Tang Shaoyang’s action for killing Isidrus. In fact, no one from the Executive Administrator stopped Tang Shaoyang, not even trying to persuade him.

"You haven’t asked him yet, Arion. The reason why we came to meet him," Ebbe Telines pointed out. That was the reason why they opened this portal: to confirm whether Tang Shaoyang abused his authority or not.

Arion shrugged and smiled mysteriously, "That’s your reason, not mine. You can ask him yourself because I already know the answer."

"And a piece of advice for you. A threat will never work on him, so don’t ever try that method on him. You will become his target if you try that method."

Ebbe clicked his tongue and didn’t really like this side of Arion. He glanced at Andre, and the latter nodded at him.

Ebbe Telines stepped forward, looking down at Tang Shaoyang. He kept his composure outside, but deep inside, he was surprised by his new co-worker.

"We have received a report from the Ten Stars Accord that you are abusing your authority to get to Allavaine. Is that true, Tang Shaoyang?" He was being direct, and he immediately got to the point.

"Abuse my authority? Are you a fool or what?" Tang Shaoyang didn’t give the answer that Ebbe wanted. It was a simple yes or no question. However, Tang Shaoyang was just annoyed with everything, so he was not willing to cooperate with them. "Sometimes I wonder if people like you or Palmas can get this far. I guess if you live long enough, you can, and if you want to live longer, then you should not poke your nose at the place you should not poke!"

Ebbe Telines would ignore that mockery if it were in a private place, but Tang Shaoyang said it in front of the Ten Stars Accord’s leaders as well. It was humiliating to be ridiculed in front of the Ten Stars Accord’s leaders.

Before he could say something in return, a hand grabbed his shoulder, pulling him back. He almost lashed out if it was Arion, but it was Andre. He stayed silent and stepped back.

"If you want to keep your life and your status, you’d better answer me!" His deep voice echoed in the air, transmitted to all directions. It could be heard even from far away.

Tang Shaoyang had a crazed grin when he heard Andre’s statement, "Make me!"

The moment Tang Shaoyang said that, Andre released his terrifying aura. The Ten Stars Accord’s leaders subconsciously took three steps back. Valeria and Ebbe took one step back, catching them by surprise.

The aura was directed toward Tang Shaoyang, a terrifying event for a God Rank. Four attendants from the Ten Stars Accord fell on their knees as they tried to endure the spilling aura that reached them.

Tang Shaoyang let out a chuckle as the aura didn’t really do anything to him, "This is pathetic if you think this will work. Come down and make me speak!"

Andre locked his gaze with Tang Shaoyang for a moment, then he shrugged and turned around, "Since you know more about him than we do. You will take care of the rest, Arion!"

After saying that, Andre teleported out without saying anything. That left the Ten Stars Accord’s side flabbergasted. The one who opened the portal to Allavaine was Andre. It looked like Andre was siding with them until this moment happened. He just left without telling them anything, not even a thing about the complaint.

Ebbe, Valeria, and Baba were also caught off guard. They didn’t expect them to fight, but they thought Andre might propose something that would make Tang Shaoyang lose his influence or maybe his status.

Only Arion and Clementine knew what Andre was doing. They already knew his intention, so they didn’t stop Andre from opening the gate to Allavaine. It was to evaluate Tang Shaoyang’s strength. That was the only reason why Andre was involved in the matter.

That was what Andre was interested in: to see how strong Tang Shaoyang was. Andre might not be able to see his new co-worker’s full power, but he had a general understanding. That was why he decided to leave, because he already got what he wanted from this incident. That was right, he was using the Ten Stars Accord’s complaint to his advantage and got what he wanted.

"What’s the meaning of this?" Arthorn locked his gaze on Arion. With Andre leaving, he got more courage to speak up, "He killed Isidrus! Aren’t you going to do anything about this?"

"Let me correct it. Isidrus got himself killed for jumping out of the portal. You knew, and he also knew. No one is supposed to jump out of this portal," Arion still had his smile. "Since you are looking for an answer, I can give you an answer. I have checked the portal log, and Tang Shaoyang never used the administrator’s portal to get here."

He then raised his index finger when the Ten Stars Accord’s side wanted to interrupt him, "Don’t interrupt me. Let me finish speaking!"

Arthorn and the others remained silent as Arion continued, "Ever since the incident in the Starter City, Tang Shaoyang hasn’t returned to the Administrator Space. He could not use his privilege if he was not in the Administrator Space. Unless you give us solid evidence, your complaint will be dismissed."

Tch!

Arion clicked his tongue when Arthorn tried to cut him again. That silenced the leader of the Golden Star, "Based on the weight of your accusation, the Ten Stars Accord will receive a severe warning from the Administrator if you can’t prove your accusation against a respected member of the Executive Administrator. What does this severe warning entail?"

"First, you can’t file a similar complaint for a hundred years to the Administrator. What happens if you file another complaint within the next hundred years? Of course, your complaint will be ignored."

"Second, the Administrator will not accept any administrator candidates from the Ten Stars Accord in the same period of time. This includes all Admin Helpers from the Ten Stars Accord. No Admin Helpers from the Ten Stars Accord will ever get promoted to be an Administrator for the same period of time."

The eight leaders from the Ten Stars Accord stared at Arion in disbelief. The punishment was too severe. Especially when it was just a complaint. The worst part was that it was too late to save the Shadow Star. On top of that, they also lost the Serpent Star’s leader. This was the worst outcome possible.

"You planned this from the start?" Arthorn asked.

The realization sank in when he heard the punishment. The Executive Administrator planned this from the very start to get them. It was impossible for them to prove that Tang Shaoyang abused his authority, as they mentioned.

Arthorn wanted to believe that Tang Shaoyang abused his authority, but he doubted that with how confident Arion was. From the look of it, Tang Shaoyang truly didn’t abuse his privilege.

Again, their complaint was based on an assumption that Tang Shaoyang was a newcomer with no connection in the God Realm. They never had any undeniable proof or anything against Tang Shaoyang in the first place.

If they had solid evidence they could use, they could proceed with their complaint directly to the System, to the Gods behind the System. The Gods were the only ones who truly could touch the Executive Administrator’s position.

That was if they had the proof. Without solid proof, they would gamble their fate, the whole alliance’s fate. The punishment for slandering the Executive Administrator might be much worse than the current punishment, especially if it were the System’s punishment. That punishment was much worse than Arion’s punishment.

It was too much risk to go directly to the Gods without solid evidence. The gain was not worth it because the worst punishment for the Executive Administrator was dismissal.

They might be able to dismiss Clementine and Arion at once if they were right, but that was not worth it because they would be offending both. After getting dismissed, their alliance would become a target of these two monsters. This was a losing fight from the start.

"Plan? Not really, but we ought to teach impertinent people like you guys a lesson for targeting an Executive Administrator, no? If you want to target the Executive Administrator, then you can kill us in one attempt. If you fail, then be ready to receive retaliation from us," Arion was no longer pretending to be a neutral side, but he still maintained his polite smile, which annoyed the leader of the Ten Stars Accord.

"As he said, the Administrator wants the realm to know what the consequences are for targeting the Administrator, whether it was Executive Administrator or Junior Administrator!"
