Chapter 2119: Against Supreme Guardian

Tang Shaoyang smiled when his axe was blocked. That made him somewhat happy that someone could handle his Chaos Energy. That was one of his biggest advantages in each fight. His energy would overwhelm his opponent, but not this time.

The Supreme Guardian Kong fared well against it, only showing a minor change of expression. He followed with a swing with the sword in his left hand. He imbued his swing with Chaos Energy and used Invisible Slash.

The old man reacted well, immediately backing down the moment the sword came for him. He took three steps back, then leaped backward farther to reach a safe distance.

Supreme Guardian Kong received the axe but did not try to block it this time. He deflected the incoming axe swiftly as the sword shot up toward Tang Shaoyang’s head. He aimed for the head, but Tang Shaoyang used his sword to push Kong Hu’s sword to the side.

That was when the old man realized that Tang Shaoyang’s right hand was free, no longer holding the battle axe. A golden energy covered his right palm and slammed toward Supreme Guardian Kong.

The old man reacted in time, using his movement technique to get away from Tang Shaoyang.

He created a safe distance once more, pushed to retreat for the second time. Then there he saw a massive palm mark on the ground where he just stood. The mysterious man picked up the battle-axe that stuck to the ground and smiled at him.

Supreme Guardian Kong furrowed his brow; he didn’t like the current situation in the slightest. He could not probe the mysterious man’s cultivation. His internal energy just dispersed when he tried to probe his opponent’s cultivation.

The thing that he didn’t like was his opponent’s combination of weapons. He never saw someone who had a big battle axe in one hand and a long sword in the other hand. That made things unpredictable.

Even until now, he failed to see his enemy using his technique against him. Not knowing what your opponent’s technique was made things worse with that unpredictable combination of weapons.

Supreme Guardian Kong didn’t like the odds. Added with that last powerful palm strike, he didn’t like his chances against this mysterious expert.

He glanced toward Dongfang Jinhai’s direction, who did nothing, staying in the air watching his fight. He could not really blame Dongfang Jinhai since there was no chance to join.

His subordinates swarmed to the mysterious man’s group, but they were slaughtered. They tried to get the injured Ouyang Biya, but it was like throwing eggs into a wall.

His people were cut and killed at ease, their bodies strewn all over in pieces.

"Where are you looking at, old man?"

Supreme Guardian Kong turned toward the voice, and the mysterious man was right before him, just with his sheathed sword, no battle axe. He recognized this move, the same move that killed the Murim Alliance’s people. He quickly brought the sword up, putting it upright, and blocked the quick draw.

His eyes widened in surprise when he received the strike. The strike contained more force than the battle axe. His body was sent flying backward.

"Come on, old man. Entertain me a little bit more. It will be disappointing if you think of escaping right now."

Tang Shaoyang put aside the battle axe and decided to fight with his sword. Since he was in the Sacred Realm, he would fight the way of a cultivator.

"Dongfang Jinhai!" Supreme Guardian Kong called out and ordered the head of the Dongfang Family, "Use it right now!"

Dongfang Jinhai was surprised to hear the order, but he followed the order. With his movement technique, he shot next to Supreme Guardian Kong. At the same time, he took out a scroll and unsealed it.

Supreme Guardian Kong recognized all of them, and this woman was not one of those experts. It meant one thing: this group came from outside the Sacred Realm. They were the people from the God Realm.

His eyes widened in realization as he turned toward the mysterious man. He sent Ouyang Biya to the Skywound Realm to retrieve the Thousand Vows Pavilion, to take the codex from an Executive Administrator.

The Soul Candle indicated that she died, but here she was. Ouyang Biya returned with the mysterious group, alive. If there was someone who could do something to the Soul Candle, it was the Administrator.

The Sacred Realm detached itself after their loss, but that didn’t mean they didn’t know anything about the Sacred Realm, especially this Administrator.

The reason was that there were a few individuals who terrorized the Murim Alliance and forced them to stay in the Sacred Realm. Two out of a few individuals were the Executive Administrators, the one who killed the Murim Alliance Leader in the war.

The Administrator didn’t really have an interest in the Sacred Realm. This was the first time someone from the Administrator, an Executive Administrator at that, came to the Sacred Realm.

"You are Executive Administrator Tang Shaoyang?" His eyes widened in shock.

He tried to match the description, and everything matched. The easiest to distinguish was Executive Tang Shaoyang, who had a black eye. Even though he could not see that eye, he could tell it was hidden behind the eye-patch.

"You are quite smart to figure it out so quickly... But not really, since you have ears and eyes inside the Administrator. In fact, you should figure it out quicker."

Tang Shaoyang took a deep breath. The fun was over since he needed to finish off the old man. He didn’t want the information leaked to the Heaven Founder, and that would stop their plan to wage a war against the Murim Alliance.

A Heavenly Vermilion’s screech resounded through the whole city, causing a little vibration. Then the city darkened as a massive bird appeared above the city, the bird made of golden-crimson flame, which caused the temperature to rise.

The vermilion showed up for a moment before turning into flame and came down toward the venue, lighting up the Azure Dragon Blade in Tang Shaoyang’s hand.

Fifth Heavenly Gate - Heavenly Sword: Heaven Severing World

Tang Shaoyang swung his sword toward Supreme Guardian Kong, releasing his sword energy that lit up golden-crimson flame toward the old man. It was a compressed version of Heaven Severing World. He compressed, reducing the scale because he didn’t want to completely destroy the city and kill the ordinary people.

Supreme Guardian Kong quickly reacted, using his sword technique as well. A massive blue sword appeared behind him. He sent the blue sword to the incoming sword energy. Not confident to block it completely, he also activated a defensive formation.

The massive blue sword met with the flaming sword energy. It stopped the flaming energy for a moment before it cut through the blue sword into two and shot toward Supreme Guardian Kong.

A pillar of golden-crimson flame shot up to the sky, engulfing the Supreme Guardian Kong in flame.
