Tang Shaoyang intended to finish the fight the moment he opened the Seventh Gate, Heavenly Vermilion. He thought that would be enough to finish the fight. However, a silhouette remained standing in the middle of the pillar of fire.

The silhouette started to move, walking out from the fire. Supreme Guardian Kong was still alive, and he didn’t suffer any injury from the big attack earlier.

His clothes were burnt, revealing his new shiny form. His whole body, from his face down to his feet, turned into a diamond. That was likely the reason he survived the combination of the Heaven Severing Sword and Heavenly Vermilion.

Tang Shaoyang was not disappointed that his attack was completely neutralized. That made him even more excited about the fight. He could no longer hide his grin.

The first didn’t crack the diamond body, but that sent the old man flying backward.

Tang Shaoyang used Blink, appearing above the flying Supreme Guardian Kong. This time, he had both his palms covered in Heavenly Energy. A materialization of golden palm also formed behind Tang Shaoyang.

The invisible force hit his invisible barrier. However, Tang Shaoyang could feel the force behind that attack on his body. He was confused because his Chaos Eyes didn’t pick up anything.

If that invisible force was powered by energy, he should be able to see it with his Chaos Eyes. His Chaos Eyes could see the flow of energy, whether it was inside people’s bodies or the energy in the air.

"You should not get distracted while fighting me!" The old man bellowed right from above him.

Tang Shaoyang might get distracted with his thoughts, but his Absolute Sense was a work. He picked the danger from above.
