Chapter 2135: Alderman Fiodor

Chapter 2135: Alderman Fiodor

"Did you just kick him out? There’s no punishment or anything for what he did?"

Tang Shaoyang quickly noticed the important note. Clementine mentioned that they kicked out Alderman Fiodor of the Administrator. She didn’t mention punishment, meaning kicking him out was the punishment. If that was the case, the punishment was too light.

If that were the case, he would not hesitate to betray the Administrator if he were faced with a situation where he had to choose between the Administrator and something else that was equally important to him.

"It’s more like he escaped from us before we could execute him. He found out that we were investigating him, and he disappeared afterward. He even left his kingdom."

Valeria Meloda answered.

"We suspected that he fled to the Sacred Realm," She added, observing Tang Shaoyang’s expression. She knew Tang Shaoyang was in the Sacred Realm, but she didn’t say it out, not willing to be seen as someone who spied on him.

Tang Shaoyang rolled his eyes the moment he heard the Sacred Realm. He understood what they tried to do. They wanted to put the job on him.

"Is this the reason behind the summons? To clean up after you guys’ mess? Can’t you just include that in the message instead of trying to summon me?"

"That’s not the reason behind the summons. That’s just additional stuff. The important part involved the Hurakan Kingdom. It’s about their knight spirit that’s under contract with you."

Arion told Tang Shaoyang the main reason behind the summons. The Hurakan Kingdom sent a complaint after they received information that Tang Shaoyang had their knight’s dead spirit.

Even though Tang Shaoyang helped the Hurakan Kingdom defend their fortress, city, and soldiers from an Emperor. Their cooperation ended with a bad story. It was most likely from the Hurakan Kingdom, which tried to assert its authority against Tang Shaoyang, which didn’t end well.

Clementine and Arion were worried the Hurakan Kingdom would take matters into their hands if they didn’t address the complaint properly. To avoid that conflict, they wanted to hear Tang Shaoyang’s story before answering the Hurakan Kingdom’s complaint.

"I do have their dead soldiers’ spirits, but what’s the problem? I didn’t kill them and turn them into a spirit. What’s the problem?"

Tang Shaoyang asked the same question twice, what’s the problem? He was annoyed that people kept looking for trouble out of nothing with him. Now they tried to use the nature of his class against him.

"Keep your head cool, Tang. They are not trying to make an unreasonable demand. They just want you to respect their dead knights and put them into a proper rest, that’s it. They don’t ask for anything or compensation, or even an apology. They just—"

Tang Shaoyang raised his index finger, stopping Arion from finishing his words.

"We have four Executive Administrators, old enough and rich in experience. Here is the question for the four of you: what do you know about my class?"

The four Executive Administrators exchanged glances. Four of them knew the surface knowledge of the Spirit Contractor Class, but they didn’t know the details. They knew the Spirit Contracted summoned and made a contract with the spirit, but they didn’t know the details.

"I see, so you barely know anything about my class, yet you dare to propose that I release my contracted spirit. This is not even funny as a joke, Arion!"

The casual atmosphere dropped, replaced with an intense atmosphere. The pressure increased as aura leaked from Tang Shaoyang.

Arion and Clementine were not expecting such a strong reaction from Tang Shaoyang, nor were Ebbe and Valeria. They thought it was not something serious since Tang Shaoyang had a lot of spirits since the Hurakan Kingdom only mentioned five spirits.

Tang Shaoyang was angry because of how many resources he had put into them. Summoning them required a lot of sacrifices, then he had to rank them up with even more sacrifices, yet Arion asked him to release their contract so casually, just because a certain kingdom asked him to.

The worst part was that it was as if Arion and the others were doing him a favor, which was outrageous. He might be annoyed, not angry, if they offered him compensation, but he would not even do that, even with compensation. Unless they could replace those spirits with equally strong spirits, or else he would never agree to such a ridiculous request.

"Can you tell us why you can’t release them? As much as I want to side with you, I do agree with them. The Hurakan Kingdom’s knights died protecting the God Realm from the abominable creatures. They deserve the respect and a peaceful rest instead of becoming your power."

Arion would not back down just because Tang Shaoyang was angry. He might appear easy-going outside, but he took his job seriously. Unless he got a reasonable answer, he would not let the matter rest.

Tang Shaoyang let out a chuckle after hearing another ridiculous request. Arion asked him about the details of his main class. There was no way he would tell them that he could raise his spirits with sacrifice.

If his enemies found out about that, they would use everything they had right now to kill him, or even to destroy his empire before he could outgrow them. There was no way he would divulge the information about his class.

"Then let me ask you the same. Tell me the details of your main class, Arion!"

He was telling Arion that he could not tell them since it was related to the secret of his class. Then he added at the end, "I don’t know if you are pretending to be an idiot, or if you are just an idiot. Are you seriously asking me to divulge the details of my main class?"

Tang Shaoyang raised his index finger at Arion before Arion could say something, "Don’t ask me to trust four of you! Just because we are on the same side, it doesn’t mean I trust you."

He looked at Arion, "You haven’t earned my full trust for me to divulge my secret to you, Arion. And I simply don’t trust the three of you just because we are on the same side."

Arion had been helping him, overcoming the Nirvana Alliance in the Trial of God. When the Divine Church launched an attack on Earth, Arion helped. Among the four, he trusted Arion more than anyone, but again, he didn’t fully trust Arion just because of a little help.

"If you insist on my releasing the contract, then you’d better force me to do it because I am not going to release just because a certain kingdom asks me to!"
