Chapter 2253: The Plan With the Divine Church

Tang Shaoyang went back to his office with more reports in his hand. First, they solved the population issue for Bahmes. Their vassal in the God Realm, their neighbor in the God Realm, would occupy Bahmes.

After the Tang Empire defeated the Auriga Kingdom, Alger Balaban, the former commander, took the throne with the Tang Empire’s assistance. However, the Royal Faction managed to return to their own world and cut their connection to the God Realm. Dinael was the daughter of the Divine Church’s ruler. He captured her when they attacked Earth and agreed to a truce with the condition of holding her as a hostage.

Tang Shaoyang thought of using the Divine Church to fight the Nirvana Alliance, but he changed his mind. He just wanted the information about the other six factions in the Nirvana Alliance, promising to spare the Divine Church if they complied.

The report showed him the significant progress of their project. Dinael managed to persuade her family to side with the Tang Empire.

"Where is she right now? Is she available? It’s better to speak in person. I have a few questions for her as well."

He looked up at Li Shuang. The latter nodded, "She enjoyed her time in Divine Tower because of her affinity to Light Elemental Tower. She is actually a teacher in the academy for the Divine Tower."

That was a surprise, not expecting that she would teach his people. Considering their stance, he was her enemy with his conflict with the Nirvana Alliance.

Dinael was a God Rank, and it didn’t take much time for her to go back to the Smart Base. She entered the office after knocking on the door twice and mentioning her name. She knew it was unnecessary since Origin could inform the Emperor of her arrival. But it was the right thing to do.

Deep inside, she was quite nervous because of how sensitive the topic was. It was not an exaggeration to say the conversation might decide her fate as well as her family.

She met the Emperor’s eyes and bowed her head. She knew that the Emperor didn’t really like the royal formality, but she still did the bare minimum, showing her respect to the strongest man in the empire.

During the duel for the War of Worlds, she was reminded of her fight against him. She was a God Rank, and she had a companion, Divine Dragon, Eol. Eol was killed, and she was captured.

Watching the Emperor kill the other God Ranks at ease was astonishing. She knew there was a gap even between the God Ranks. But the fight was like an unranked against a God Rank. The duel convinced her that siding with the Tang Empire might be the best option for the long-term benefit.

Even now, she could not fathom how strong the Emperor was. What will the Emperor become in ten years? The realization was quite terrifying even for her, with her experience of meeting the powerhouses in the God Realm.

Dinael was surprised to hear it, and so was Li Shuang. Her husband told her nothing about the change of plan. She knew better than her husband and didn’t interrupt the conversation. He must have his reason, and she would wait until the conversation was over.

Dinael was confused. The Emperor insisted, forcing her to persuade her family. When he succeeded in persuading her family, he decided not to use the Divine Church. There must be something that she wasn’t aware of.

"I can bring it up to my family, and I believe they will be happy to assist you in that regard."

She answered positively and carefully. That was her family’s original idea in helping the Tang Empire: giving the Emperor the coordinates of the other six factions. But she persuaded them to join the fight.
